Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all well! We had 39 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
The previous version of the Inlinkz system I was using has now expired so I am using the new version now. I am learning to use it still, so if you have any issues please let me know. I also wanted to mention that in order to add a link to the linky through Inlinkz you now need to sign in to their platform . I know this could put people off a little bit but bare in mind that due to GDPR, they are forced to verify personal information of any sorts as they act as a controller for the hosts of a linky. Also, it stops automated entries from scripts as well as seeing who is adding links on their own and who is paying someone to drop off massively entries through VAs. I haven’t had that on #kcacols but apparently it happens a lot to bigger linkies. I am so sorry if this is an inconvenience for you but I hope you stick with us and still join us as we have created a really lovely community here for more than 4 years! So let’s keep growing!
The last couple of weeks have passed relatively fast don’t you think? We were quite busy which is nice. We did a few interesting things. We went ice skating to Queens in Queensway and it was so much fun. I am not the best at this but I managed to go around the rink without falling once! The one who did fall several times was little Sienna! Bless her! But despite that, she loved it! We also ate at their restaurant MEATLiquor which is, OMG very delicious. They have the best big juicy burgers!
We also got had someone come to do a Spring Clean which was so much needed. This a super deep cleaning that left our bathrooms, windows and oven shining! I have actually linked up my post about it so you can read how it went.
Nick and I also went for lunch during the week. We don’t do this very often because his lunch break is not very long but once in a while it is nice to do. We went to Cocotte which is a French Rotisserie located in Hoxton. They also have another restaurant in Notting Hill but Nick’s job is very close to Hoxton so we chose that one. They specialise in chicken and their food is out of this world. Seriously, it was super delicious!
I also went to the launch event of the new Kinder Ice Creams in Southbank. I am so excited to be one of their 3 Ambassadors for the summer promoting their yummy ice creams. I have linked up the blog post about this so you can have a peak of their new ice creams!
I also wanted to say Happy International Women’s day for last Friday 8th March! 🙂
Each link up, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

*CHEERS TO ALL THOSE EMPOWERING WOMEN IN THE WORLD* I know that I am late to the party as I should have published this yesterday but it is better late than never right? I didn't want to let the most important day (International Women's Day) for us women pass unnoticed by me so I decided to say something today instead. 👩🏼 - For centuries, being a women has been hard. It has been a struggle to get and receive the same attention as men and for so many years many women have fought hard to change this which has helped us now, the women of this century, to have a better place in this life and to finally get noticed. Of course, even though, things are getting a little bit better, there is so much to do and fight for. 💪🏻 - I read the other day this quote that really stuck in my head: "A woman performs all the duties of a man but a man cannot do all that a woman can do". 👏🏻 This is so true. We are capable of doing anything that a man can do and more, 🙌🏻 so I want to say thank you for all those women that have helped us to change the mentality of this world and make lots of changes for us. 🧡💛💚 - So let's celebrate not just one day but every day of our life to be a woman. 🍾 "HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY" 🎉 - PS: I also I wanted to say thank you to all men that fight our corner too! The ones that encourage us, support us and let us shine! And this goes to you babes, my best friend, my partner in life, husband and parent of my two gorgeous little girls! ❤️ #internationalwomensday #womensday

*ICE SKATING EXPERIENCE AT QUEENS IN QUEENSWAY* - [GIFTED] Bella has been asking to go ice skating a lot lately and last Sunday thanks to @queensskate (located in Queensway, London - right next to Queensway tube station), we finally went to have some family fun! ⛸ - They have an ice rink ⛸, bowling lanes 🎳, an arcade 🎮 and a restaurant 🍽 ! So everything you need to have fun in one place! 🎉 We got our wristbands and went straight to the ice rink. I was actually very surprised that I was able to go around without falling. It was so much fun! - Bella was very good at it but little Sienna struggled a lot! She is so stubborn and wanted to do it without help so she didn't want a penguin 🐧 (skating aid for young children). We did the first lap together and she was literally falling every 5 minutes, 😂! We even managed to film that as it was so funny (check my Highlight stories about Queens) - After falling so many times she then decided that she wanted to try the penguin 🐧 . She was better with it but she still needed us for help, so it was a little bit hard to enjoy it without having to constantly help her. The good news though is that she loved it. 💕 - After the first hour, she got very tired so we decided to stop for a break. With the wristbands we were able to get on and off the ice as much as we wanted all day until 6 pm, so the fun never ended at this place. I thought this was awesome. 😃 - After eating lunch at MEAT Liquor 🍔(more on this in my next IG post or check my Highlight stories) we went back on the ice. I decided to watch Nick and the girls from a very comfortable area that had windows and a bar. Sienna got better and at the end, she wasn’t falling at all! - We spent about 5 hours there. It was one of the best family days out we have had in a long time! 👨👩👧👧 We really enjoyed it and the best part was that it tired the girls! So this meant an early bedtime for them and an earlier evening for us! Hurrah! 🎉 - Have you been ice skating with your family? ⛸ #QUEENSSkate #QueensSkateDineBowl #familyfun #gifted

Thank you so much for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. It is lovely to see your photos there! I think it's pretty safe to say that the main thing we want for our children is for them to be happy. I wrote a post a while ago on three things we can do to help our children be happy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Make them smile. The simple act of smiling can make us feel happier.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Help them build healthy relationships.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Teach them to be grateful.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #happiness #mytinymoments #ourcandidlife #mumsofinstagram #motherhoodlens #motherhoodrising #ohmamamoment #joyfulmamas #littlepiecesofchildhood #ourcandidlife #watchthemgrow #littleandbrave #littlefierceones #dailyparenting #thingsiwanttoremember #littlefierceones #mytinymoments #everydaymoments #candidchildhood #motherhoodunplugged #childhoodunplugged #capturingchildhood #clickinmoms #motherlylove #momswithcameras #ukparentbloggers #kcacols #cuddlethemclose

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY
If you are not already subscribed to be informed of new KCACOLS Linky emails, you can click the button below to subscribe:
We had 39 link ups. Fewer linkups that I thought. I hope it is not because now I am using the new Inlinkz. If the signing in option is putting you off, please ignore that and start doing it for the reasons I have explained above in red.
We had 8 posts that needed more comments on Thursday. But by Saturday morning we reduce this to 1 posts. That was a great turn around! So from all 39 posts that were linkup we had 38 posts with 4 or more comments! Hurrah! Thank you so much for all your comments!
Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 8 people on Thursday. By Saturday morning we reduced this number to 4. I will message them and hopefully we will get those comments done too.
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, ALI @weirdoA and EMMA @meandbmaketea and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
