Yesterday Bella and I went to the @royaloperahouse to watch Sleeping Beauty. I have always wanted to take Bella to The Ballet but I wasn’t sure if she was ready as I wanted her to enjoy the performance. ⁣
⁣
I remember when I was little my mum took me to see the ballet and I loved it. My mum told me that I was stood up with my eyes opened and mesmerised about it. It was a lovely memory with my mum. ⁣
⁣
So I wanted to have the same with Bella and hopefully repeat it with Sienna. Bella was so excited to see this. She knew the story so it was easier to follow. We were at the ROH a month ago for one of their Family Sundays and the girls loved it. So Bella was looking forward to coming back and seeing a proper ballet.⁣
⁣
We got seats very close to the stage so it was amazing to have the ballerinas and dancers so close to us. The performance was stunning and lasted 3 hours in total and it had 3 intervals. ⁣
⁣
It was so nice to have some mummy daughter time doing something so lovely. The cast is so talented and we were so impressed. The Royal Opera House has so many shows so you have lots of options to pick from. It is lovely to take your kids to see something so spectacular. I am so happy that I took Bella this time. ⁣

As you all know, we love @spiritridingfree and my girls have watched all the previous episodes already. Bella and I were so lucky to be invited back in the Summer to a lovely event in Devon to celebrate the upcoming season this Autumn. It was an amazing experience for us. ⁣ ⁣
So now, the time has finally arrived and @dreamworks 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠! 𝙄𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 @poptv_uk 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮 9𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 and my girls can’t wait to tune!⁣ ⁣
This show is really lovely, especially for all those animal lovers because it features Spirit, a wild mustang horse. The show is about 12 year old Lucky who moves from the big city to the countryside. She really feels like a fish out of water but then she meets Spirit and they form an incredible bond together. Along with their new best friends, Abigail and Pru, Lucky and Spirit set off on daring adventures, push their limits, and discover what it means to be truly free.⁣ ⁣
This is for sure a must watch kids TV show for this Autumn. There are also available brilliant Spirit Riding Free products that our girls love from @smythstoys which could be perfect for any early Christmas present ideas. ⁣ ⁣

Last Friday I was invited to the press event of the @tutankhamunlondon exhibition at @saatchi_gallery. My mum has a small replica of the Tutankhamun’s head at home and she was always very interested in the history of it. I guess because of her, I was very intrigued about it too.⁣
⁣
Tutankhamun’s tomb was unearthed by British explorer Howards Carter and financier Lord Carnarvon in 1922. It really captivated people’s attention. It was a massive discovery for sure. This exhibition is so impressive. Discovering the most famous of the Pharaohs, as well as their belongings as you go through a passage of his life, is just amazing. I went with a friend and we both were mesmerised but all these 150 objects. They are gorgeous. ⁣

It is on until 3rd May 2020 so please come and see it if you are in London. It has 6 galleries and there is also a virtual reality experience where you can enter the tomb. The VR experience is suitable for ages 10 years old and over.⁣

I recommend you to book tickets in advance as they are selling fast already. ⁣

A few weeks ago I went to the @designmuseum for their immersive exhibition “Moving to Mars”. This topic fascinates me so I was very intrigued to attend this exhibition. I took a friend who also finds this topic very interesting so we were both very excited. ⁣
⁣
The day we attended was the press preview so there were a few things that were not quite ready yet like the full-scale Mars home. The idea was to go through a journey from London to Mars. It is a multi-sensory adventure. ⁣
⁣
The exhibition features immersive environments, about 200 objects including contributions from NASA, the European Space Agency and SpaceX; NASA's 3D-Printed Mars Habitat Challenge winners, AI SpaceFactory; robotic builders by Foster & Partners; the first sustainable urban design for Mars, Mars City Design; the first spacesuit designed for the Mars surface; Christopher Raeburn's new fashion collection inspired by the red planet and much more. It is amazing!⁣

During the event, we immersed ourselves in the untouched beauty of the landscape, taking in sights, sounds and smells, and discovered how a zero-waste, clean energy-powered civilisation on Mars might help future generations on Earth. I was really impressed!⁣
⁣
The exhibition features 200 objects, including spacesuits such as the one worn by Matt Damon in “The Martian” and the very first suit expected to be worn on Mars. ⁣
⁣
I honestly can’t believe that humans will be migrating to Mars and that it could be our future home someday. It sounds unreal that this might happen in the future. It, of course, makes lots of sense, but still, it feels like a dream. For now, I guess we will have to wait for the first mission to Mars which will apparently happen in 2024. ⁣

The exhibition is open until 23rd February 2020. The age guidance is 8+ and a visit will take about 1 hr 15 mins. If you are coming to London and would like to do something different, head over this exhibition. I can highly recommend it. ⁣

If you saw my previous posts you have probably seen my latest @regattaoutdoors jacket from the new Kimberly Walsh collection. I attended the launch of her new collection and I was really impressed with the range. ⁣

I got a Safiyya Jacket in black and prune as well as an Andel Jacket in black. I am in love with all of them! I wear Andel a lot for the school run but the Safiyya jackets are so lovely for the night as they really keep me warm. I also got hats, scarf and gloves to match. Swipe left to see them all 😃⁣

I can’t believe October is gone and we are now in the countdown to Christmas! 😳🌲Time flies super fast isn’t it!
We are having a weekend filled with birthday parties to attend. Also 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 @littlemix 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙩 @theo2london 🙌🏻 We have been waiting for this date for months so we are super excited thi date has finally arrived.
We have been listening to the setlist for the concert the whole week so we know all the songs. I have never gone to a concert like this with my daughter before. She is only 9 so it is her first time. I am so excited to have an experience like this with my big girl. It will definitely be a memory to cherish forever! We can’t wait for tonight! 😃
