I love buying clothes for my girls. It’s really nice to choose adorable outfits for them and then see how they look. I guess the best part is when they see new outfits and get very excited about them. They love modelling their clothes which I enjoy a lot too, usually it makes my heart melt! I guess I need to take advantage of this as I don’t think it will last forever! I’m sure that pretty soon I won’t be able to choose clothes for them and they won’t want to do a fashion show for me!
I was very pleased when Boohoo Kids contacted us to review some clothes from their new kid’s collection. It’s always great to be able to choose some new clothes for my girls. The Boohoo Kids range is from 5 to 12 years old, so I was only able to choose clothes for Bella.
Although I’ve heard of Boohoo before, I have never used their website. They come across as a brand that has a lot of trending and fashionable clothes at an affordable price. I was very curious to see for myself if this was true. Their kid’s collection is full of cool outfits. I really like the tees and sweaters which have really cool slogans.
They asked us to choose some outfits for £35. Browsing their website, which I found easy to navigate, they have a lot of options for girls. After checking through all the options, I ordered the following items:
Girls Crinkle Metallic Skater Dress – £7.00
I really like this dress. The pink and black colour combination, I think works very well. It looks smart but I think it depends on how you accessorise as it could be used as a casual dress too. It comes in 2 different colours: black with pink and black with silver.
We ordered this dress in size 7-8 even though Bella is 6 years old but this is because they don’t seem to have a size 6-7. I thought this was strange so decided to risk it and get a size up. This was a mistake as the dress felt big. Not super big but it was a bit bigger than I would have liked. The problem that we have is that Bella is very slim but tall so it is difficult sometimes to choose the correct size. We decided to change it for a size 5-6. The change was easy and quick. The dress fitted her much better in that size.
Girls Box Pleat Scuba Skater Skirt – £5.00
This skirt is adorable. Bella doesn’t have a long skirt like this one as most of her skirts are normally short. It can be matched with a tee or with a jumper. I like how Bella looks here combining the skirt with this t-shirt. I’m sure this skirt will have a lot of use!
We also ordered this skirt in size 7-8 and it was the same problem so we changed it to one size down and was much better. Changing the sizes of the clothes was quick and easy and the replacement clothes arrived within 2 days. Their service is pretty quick. This skirt comes in 4 different colours: black, red, cobalt and cerise. The latter is the one we ordered.
Girls High Waited Tube Jeans – £12.00
These jeans were the ones we had the most issue with as they came very big. We changed the size, like with the other items but we found even the size 5-6 was big for Bella. I’m sure it is because she has very slim legs so it is not easy to find jeans like this one that will fit her properly. I think next time I will only buy skinny jeans or treggings for her.
Despite this, she was very happy to model the jeans for me and I think she did a great job! Do you agree?
Girls Little Rebel Tee – £3.00
I absolutely love this tee. The slogan is a cheeky one and goes perfectly well with my cheeky little monkey as she is my little rebel! LOL The size of this tee was actually perfect. This was the only one that we didn’t change as she was very comfortable on it. The material of this tee is super soft which is really nice when you touch it.
I also like this tone of pink. It is very cute and I think suits Bella very well. You can pair it with anything really so it is perfect for any occasion. They have lots of different t-shirts like this one with sassy slogans. You should go and have a look on their website. This tee comes in pink (blush) and grey.
In general, Bella was happy with all the clothes after we changed the sizes. Boohoo has a great selection for girls, not so much for boys but they are still very cool and trendy. Their prices are fantastic. You get a lot for your money. Their service is very good too so we will be definitely ve ordering again from them.
Have you bought from Boohoo before? Did you know they have a kids range? What do you think of their clothes? Where do you buy clothes for your kids?
