Back to Kidzania: Pet Wellbeing Centre Review

amomentwithfranca · 29 August 2017 · 40 Comments

We love KidZania London. Since our first visit, we have been back a few times but those visits were with Bella only. This time we were asked to come back and try one of their new activities: the Pet Wellbeing Centre. I was really excited to go back with all the family. If you follow my blog, you would know that when we all visited the first time, Sienna was just a baby. I think she was about 10 months old. She loved it and we did everything that she was allowed to do but she was very little so it was a bit limited for her. However, this time it was great to bring her back and see how much fun she could have at almost 3 years old.

Sienna was really looking forward to this visit and Bella was also excited to try some activities with her sister as well as trying other activities that she has not had the chance to do before. Also, she really wanted to try the new Pet Wellbeing Center activity.

As always, the arrival is just amazing! It feels like you are about to take a plane as you have to check in and cross immigration which is a lot of fun. We were all given our security wristbands which are scanned when you do an activity within KidZania, only work for the 4 hours that we are allowed to be there.

Because we have already visited, as soon as we got inside we wanted to make the most of our time there. The new activity, the Pet Wellbeing Centre was not open when we arrived as it was on the first floor which is open from 11 am. We did some activities on the ground floor while we were waiting.

We decided to do all the activities that we could all do together or activities that Bella and Sienna could do together first.

Sightseeing Bus Tour

The first activity we did was the Sightseeing Bus Tour which was something we could all do. Doing this first was a good idea =as it takes you around the venue so you have a better idea of what activities are around so then you can visit after.

Painting School

This is a place where your kids can sit down and paint whatever they fancy to. It is a free, unsupervised activity. You just go and grab an apron, some paper, brushes and paint. It was something nice for them to do together.

Courier Service

Bella has done this activity before but she was keen to do it again. We all walked with her while she was delivering her parcel. Sienna was actually excited to walk along with her sister. She did a great job as she delivered the parcel on time.

Police Station

Bella didn’t do this activity but Nick, Sienna and Bella enjoyed getting inside the cell to see how it feels to be behind bars, LOL!

Pet Wellbeing Centre

After visiting the Police Station it was now already 11am, so we went upstairs to queue outside the Pet Wellbeing Centre. Bella loves animals so this activity was going to be really interesting for her.

Your kids will become experts in their field learning how to identify and address animal welfare needs. Champions will learn about good pet nutrition in Lily’s Kitchen and perform surgery on a patient in PDSA’s Pet Hospital. They will gain an understanding of the charity and have the opportunity to donate any KidZo’s to help save pets’ lives. Champions will receive a special activity pack and a sample of food in return.

See below the main features of this activity:

  • Duration: 20 minutes
  • Capacity: 8 kids
  • Age: 4+
  • Charge: 8 Kidzo’s (KidZania’s own currency)

Bella was excited about this new activity. She was really interested in learning more about being a Pet Wellbeing Champion.

While she was at this activity, Sienna and Nick went to find some activities suitable for 1 to 3 years old. They went to RightZKeeper’s Residence and then to the Kidergarten. Sienna had so much fun there. I can tell she enjoyed it much more this time. After this, they went to the Dance Club! She danced a lot apparently and had a really great time there!

When Bella was finished, we all went to the cafe right next to the Pet Wellbeing Centre to eat something as we were very hungry.

Bella really enjoyed this new activity. She said that she learned about how to take care of pets, look at x-rays and learn what it takes to be a vet. It was very cool.

H&M Fashion Centre

For her next activity, Bella went to the H&M Fashion Centre. She is very creative and styling a mannequin. She did this very quickly, earning some Kidzos in the process.

Theatre

Our next stop was the Theatre where we went to watch the show put on by the kids doing the Acting Academy activity. Before we went in, we saw a piano outside so the girls sat down for a few minutes to have a go.

Kidzania Store

After earning some Kidzos, Bella decided to get something at their store. She hose a lovely purse and was very proud to be able to buy something with money she had earned! Bless her!

We really had a great time. The 4 hours really passed very quickly. For a more thorough review please read my first blog post about Kidzania or even better watch our video with our first experience.

Have you visited Kidzania? What do you think of the Pet Wellbeing Centre? Would you like your kids to learn more about being a Pet Wellbeing Champion?

*Disclosure: we were invited to visit Kidzania and try the Pet Wellbeing Centre as their new activity for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

We’ve still not made it to Kidzania – I was a bit hesitant after a friend had a bad experience, but I’ve read so many good things now I think we ought to try it out at some point! #KCACOLS

Oh no! Really? What a shame that your friend had a bad experience ! I hope it was a one off only! We have always had a good time. There are lots of activities for the kids to be entertained for 4 hrs. Yes you should try it out, x

Not braved this yet – bit worried that David might find it too busy so will have to see if there is a quieter time to go. #kcacols

Yes they have so much activities to do! I would definitely recommend it until he is 4 so then he can enjoy everything! If it wouldn’t be for Bella I wouldn’t have taken Sienna so young on her own. However she had a great time! 🙂
