Breakfast at Wyevale Garden Centre – Syon Park

amomentwithfranca · 22 April 2016 · 28 Comments

Hola chicos, during the Easter Holidays we were invited over to Wyevale Garden Centre to have a delicious breakfast at one of our nearest centres in Syon Park. We were very excited to go and enjoy a different Saturday morning breakfast with our girls.

Wyevale Garden Centre FI

We did a little video about our morning at the Garden Centre. Please see below:

You can now read more about the event below:

We haven’t been there before so it was all very new for us!!! The garden centre is very big and its restaurant is at the back. The idea was to have breakfast first and then do an egg hunt which will end with meeting the Easter Bunny! The girls were very excited, especially Bella who was very happy to meet the Easter Bunny.

When we arrived we saw that it was all set for a group of bloggers to sit down at different tables and enjoy an a pre-booked breakfast. The table was nicely laid out with activity sheets for the girls. They loved that!! Bella was very concentrated colouring and filling in the activity sheet while we were waiting for our breakfast. Sienna was so happy too. I love her cheeky smile!! 😉

Full British Breakfast

Nick and I had an English Breakfast while the girls had a continental breakfast. The girls really liked the food. They both ate a fair amount, even Bella who is always very difficult with her meals, liked the food. The portions for the adults were very generous! I was not expecting that!! It was a really nice breakfast although I didn’t like the black pudding (I’m not sure if this is the correct word). But it is because I don’t eat that. It was very filling!

The people were very nice and helpful. They were of course very keen to serve us and makes us happy. We were constantly being asked if we were okay and if we needed something. Our drinks were always refilled which was really nice.

Egg Hunt Alice from Wonderland

Shortly after breakfast we had Alice from Wonderland telling us that we will now be starting the easter egg hunt. We all went out of the restaurant and followed her. We went around the Garden Centre to find some eggs that the Easter Bunny had left. Of course my girls were very happy with this and had big smiles when they saw the first basket full of chocolates, LOL!

The tour around the Garden Centre was really nice as we got to see the different areas. I thought it was all very nicely decorated. It was very big and beautiful. We saw lots of different types of plants with lots of different colours. It was very pretty. I took lots of photos as I was very impressed.

Easter Bunny 2

Easter Bunny 1

Just at the end of the egg hunt we found the Easter Bunny. Bella was so keen to have a photo with him but Sienna not so much! She is a little bit scared of these kinds of characters. I hope it will be better when she grows up.

We then returned to the restaurant where some biscuits, sweets and icing were on the table waiting for the girls to start decorating them. They received  one biscuit each. Nick got very creative with Sienna’s biscuit and Bella also did a good job with hers. It was a fun time for all!

Alice in Wonderland

We had Alice back to our table so Bella had a photo taken with her. She was really pretty and made a very good Alice. Bella was over the moon with this!! LOL

After that the girls were given 2 cute bunnies (white and brown) to keep which I thought was a very nice gesture! They both love their bunnies and they play with them all the time! 🙂

My Family

To summarise the day, it was a really nice and a fun morning where we had the opportunity to try a delicious breakfast and browse around the amazing Garden Centre. I ended up buying about 5 different odours of Yankee Candles!! So lovely! If you like Garden Centres like us, I highly recommend that you go and visit your nearest Wyevale Garden Centre.

Wyevale Garden Centre collage 9

The Breakfast with the Easter Bunny cost £9.99 per child and either £3.99 for a mini breakfast or £7.99 for a Great British Breakfast. Now that Easter is over you can go and enjoy a great breakfast with the family but without meeting the Easter Bunny, LOL!! I can highly recommend it. The food is really nice and tasty and the people were really friendly.

When we were back home my two little monkeys started modelling for me and I thought that was too cute so I took a photo to share with you!! 😉

Do you like Garden Centres? Have you been to a Wyevale Garden Centre before? What do you think of their restaurant? Am I tempting you to go and try their delicious breakfasts? Leave a message below as I would love to read what you think.

* Disclosure: We were invited to Wyvale Garden Centre  for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

What a great idea by the garden centre, sounds like a real morning out and not just looking at plants. Perfect little models too, #KCACOLS.

I have been to Wyevale before, but not to the cafe or for an egg hunt. The portion sizes were huge for your breakfasts! It looked delicious, though I think I’d have gone for the continental. Looks like you had a great family morning out. I’m sure your little one will not be scared of the costumes for much longer, they all must seem very large and strange to her at the moment.
Lovely photos and a lovely family.

Aww can I just firstly say how gorgeous your girls are – Bella so grown up and doing the big sister thing so well and that little cheeky Sienna face – adorable! Mine didn’t like the characters when they were little – think that is quite normal for some children – they certainly grew out of it. Wonderful photos. I love the excitement on Bella’s face and just how in awe she was of the beautiful Alice. What a wonderful breakfast treat for your family! #KCACOL

    Hi Franca,

I am a great fan of garden centres for a morning out. Cygnet loves them. Unfortunately, the last time we went to the garden centre I realised that Cygnet was pulling all of the petals of the flowers in a nice planter for sale and putting them down a drain. He, much to my embarrassment, had attracted the attention of some old ladies who looked at me disapprovingly as I coaxed him away. Most Wyevale garden centres in particular do some great cake too – always my favourite. Pen xx #KCACOLS

Looks like so much fun. I do find the littler kids are afriad of big characters like the easter bunny. My niece was terrified of Santa for a long time too. #KCACOLS

I love garden centres…but not for the plants as I think they are too expensive. I in Nottingham so haven’t been to this one but tomorrow I am meeting my friend for a coffee at Notcutts (Formerly wheatcroft) garden centre in West Bridgford. It is a huge garden centre and the restaurant etc has been refurbished and I get 2 free coffees a month with my membership. We go as a family as a bit of a trip out too as there’s lots there…pets, aquatic centre, toys, books, cards, gifts etc the food is delicious too. It looks like you all had a great time. Thanks for sharing #KCACOLS

We also went to our local Wyevale Garden Centre over Easter but unfortunately the bookings for the Easter breakfast had sold out. I’ve only recently discovered ours and I have to say it has become a go to place when we don’t have much to do, I love the soft play just off the restaurant which means we can have a nice cup of coffee while baby K burns some energy! Your pics are so cute and it looks like everyone had a great day out. It looks like you may have some future models on your hands :0) x #KCACOLS

Great review Franca! We love Wyevale Garden Centres and have one close by to us. I had no idea that they were doing Easter egg hunts this Easter, such a shame as we would have maybe paid them a visit to experience it. We went to our local one at Christmas and had a great time so im sure this would have been just as great. It looks like it was a lovely day and experience for the girls, glad you all had such a lovelt time. Love the little modelling shot at the end, very cute 🙂 Emily #KCACOLS
