Not long ago I was invited to a lovely event organised by Tefal where they told us all about their amazing Cook4Me product. As most of you know, I don’t cook and it’s usually my hubby Nick who cooks at home, generally during the weekends (we tend to cook frozen or more convenient meals during the week as we are all so busy!). When I heard about Cook4Me I was very intrigued about it and wanted to find out more! Tefal were also very kind to offer the chance for one of my lovely readers to win a Cook4Me. You can find out more about this GIVEAWAY at the bottom of this post.
The idea of being able to provide healthy, home cooked meals to our girls in an easy way and in less than 30 minutes sounded amazing to me. I thought that this would be a great solution for us as I would be able to cook some meals during the week for my girls if it was not going to take me a lot of time and it was going to be easy and quick to prepare recipes. The idea sounded fantastic to me!
Basically, the Cook4Me is a smart multi cooker that does the hard work for you! This smart pressure cooker comes with 50 pre-programmed recipes. It guides you simply and speedily through cooking delicious meals for up to 6 people.
The event I attended was held in a lovely house in North London. The house had a gorgeous kitchen which was perfect to try out and test all the features of this amazing cooker. There were about 9 other bloggers and we were separated into smaller groups so we could cook four different recipes. While the first two groups cooked starters the other two groups were resting and being pampered in another room. That was just fabulous! 😉
To begin with we were all gathered to be told all about this cooker, in terms of how it works and what features it has. I was so impressed to hear all the great recipes you could do with it in a short amount of time!
You can see a short video of our day prepared by Tefal below:
Main Features:
- FAST – Over 30 recipes you can cook in less than 15 minutes
- EASY – Step-by-step instructions and automatic cooking times and temperatures
- DELICIOUS – 50 pre-set mouthwatering home-cooked recipes
Between all of us we prepared two starters (Italian Vegetable Soup with Croutons and Potato & Leek Soup) and two main dishes (Tuna Puttanesca and Butternut Squash Risotto)
My partner in crime for this cooking challenge was Sarah from Mumzilla. I was glad to hear that she likes cooking and she knew what to do so I said that I was going to follow her lead ;-). We were asked to cook the Italian Vegetable Soup With Croutons that takes about 10 minutes to do. We were able to choose for how many people we wanted to cook this meal for so we did it for the maximum amount which was 6 people as there were a lot of us in the house.
We needed carrots, chopped onion, tomato pasta sauce with onion and garlic, vegetable stock, canned canellini beans and sugar. We had to put all the ingredients together and then put the specific settings on the cooker, preheat it for a few minutes and then put the ingredients inside. The cooker does all this for you, prompting you when necessary so you just literally have to wait for it to do all the hard work! As I said in the title of the post we can now enjoy life with this cooker and be able to eat yummy and healthy food.
I’ve shared another short video from Tefal below showing how easy it was to cook this meal:
The best part of this event was that we were able to get one of these amazing Cook4Me cookers too! I was so excited when I was told that. It was great news, and the funny thing is that when I mentioned this to Nick he was even more excited than me. He was asking me every day if the cooker had arrived – it was so funny! He really likes cooking and he was so looking forward to testing it at home!
I will do a separate post with more details about the meals we cooked at home but so far we have prepared:
- Italian Vegetable Soup (starter) – I liked this so much that we tried it at home too
- Pesto Chicken Risotto (main dish)
- Chilli con Carne (main dish)
- Sweet and Sour Pork (main dish)
- Bread and Butter Pudding (dessert)
You can see below another video from Tefal about my thoughts on the Cook4Me:
We have also prepared rice which it is really good and quick at too! You can find out more about Tefal and its Cook4Me on Facebook, Twitter or You Tube.
You can buy the Cook4me on their official online store or from other retailers such as Argos, Currys, Debenhams, John Lewis, Lakeland or Amazon.

I don’t have a pressure cooker at home so would love to win one. My mum has a one which is about 40 years old and loves to make soup in it! The site has some great recipe ideas so I wouldn’t certainly stick to making just soups! The tuna puttanesca and pesto chicken risotto sound lovely. I would love to see some family meal ideas from Spain, Greece etc which would remind us of our holidays abroad.
This does look so stylish. I don’t own a pressure cooker. Would love to try making the sweet and sour pork x
Gosh it’s the first time I’ve seen this cook4me cooker, it looks amazing, so many good features to it.
I’d like to try my favourite which is haddock fillets & vegetables. I don’t have a pressure cooker at home so this would be a brand new experience for me. I’m not the best cook so this would help me big time 🙂
This look amazing, I would love one of these gadgets. It looks like it would make family life run so much more smoothly! Such a great time saver for busy mums xx
we have a big family i would make curry for them
i wouldnt mind trying the chilli con carne, they look really good!
This would make an amazing curry. It would cook the meat quickly & be great at infusing all the flavours together
I don’t have a pressure cooker but I’d love to have one and this one lookis so stylish! I think I’d start with some chilli, curries, and stews but I can imagine using it loads.
I don’t have a pressure cooker but if I did I would start by making basic dishes like chilli and curries. Maybe progress to puddings later on. It looks relatively easy to use. I would like to win as it would save me loads of time.
I have to say that I haven’t heard of the Cook4me before i read your article but it does sound really versatile. I love my kitchen gadgets and make surev that i do use them. I used to have a pressure cooker but don’t use it now as I have an induction hob and it doesn’t work on that. I would use the Cook4me to make soups, chilli, curry … I think there are so many things that could be made in it. I would imagine, same as for all new gadgets, it will take some getting used to but once you know what you are doing it will be a massive time saver. Thank you so much for your article, Franca. I enjoyed it massively. Chris
I have never had a pressure cooker but would love one! I have had my eye on the Cook4Me for some time but just cannot afford it. I would love to win! Fingers crossed 🙂
I don’t have one, but I do remember my mum having one and using it mainly for casseroles. I’m amazed at your bread and butter pudding and would love to try making that in it!
this looks so good x
I currently have an old pressure cooker that I have not used for years, a new one would be much appreciated to help speed up the cooking process. The tefal looks lovely and very useful
don’t have a pressure cooker, but this looks good and being able to cook a range of dishes is amazing
Looks very interesting. I don’t have a pressure cooker only a slow cooker. This would be great when time is limited and I haven’t really made up my mind what to cook for tea as it takes less time to get something on the go and made.
Never had a pressure cooker, actually asked for one for Xmas!
it looks good and easy to use. Dont have anything similar at home so I`d probably start by making a few curries/caseroles etc
This looks amazing, love that it has lots of pre-programmed ideas
top prize
Looks a nice bit of kit. But is it really a pressure cooker if it doesn’t shake and rattle with steam billowing out like my nan’s use to ?
Not got one here at present but would make a nice mutton stew.
Looks great, anything that makes life easier is welcome in my kitchen
Fab prize count me in!
I love the look of this, saves a lot of time and I like how its all compact. I would use for curries, stews, soups and casseroles
I still have my grans old pressure cooker and I must say that vegetables taste so much better. It would be ideal for my with a small kitchen to have just one gadget that can do so much. I would probably start by making a hearty casserole and it would be well used in my house as I always make meals from scratch and the Tefal Cook4me would make life a little easier. Wanted one for a while, been hinting to my partner but he’s seems to have gone deaf.
This looks bte business. Very full featured. I don’t have a a pressure cooker at home so would love to see what they are like.
Wow, the Cook4Me sounds like an impressive piece of kit for the kitchen! I cook a lot of meals and bemoan the amount of time I spend in the kitchen either cooking or washing. I cook for my elderly mother, boyfriend and greedy dog and can never be bothered cooking my own vegetarian meals when I’m done so rely on meat substitutes (ugh). I would love to be able to do some soups this winter like the Italian Vegetable Soup with Croutons, which looks absolutely DIVINE! Love the blog too, I’ve subscribed on several platforms for some inspo…
I would love to own the Tefal Cook4Me because I don’t cook very often and this would make it much easier for me to and I would love to make something for my partner for a change that he can enjoy, I love the features and that it doesn’t take too long to cook a decent meal, we don’t currently have a pressure cooker at home and I would love to cook the chilli con carne. Thanks for the chance to win, this would be amazing.
I have long waned to get a pressure cooker but find them rather frightening, this looks straight forward and is something I would feel confident learning my way around. I rather fancy Italian vegetable soup – most of my family are veggies so we could all enjoy this. I cook a lot with beans and this would help me cook soaked beans more easily. I like the pre-set feature and the idea of lots of 15 minute recipes rocks my boat! Great feature – I often use reviews to help my purchasing decisions. I would love to win one of these because I think all the family could take it in turns to prepare meals and it fits in well to busy family life.
I dont have a pressure cooker, my aunt and uncle have one and tell me of the beautiful meals they do, i would love to try, we are seeming to have the same meals every week on a rota and need to widen what we eat
Oh I definitely think I need one of these in my life. As it looks and sounds AMAZING!! No one don’t have a pressure cooker and with this beauty in my life I wouldn’t need one either.xx
Looks so stylish… I would cook joints of meats quickly
Love the cool little screen!
I don’t have a pressure cooker at home but i’ve nothing but good things about them from friends and family, maybe its time that I got one too! The site has some really brilliant recipe ideas, some that I would never have even thought of especially some of the lovely soup flavours! The pesto chicken risotto sounds especially delicious and summery. I’d love to see some more “foreign” ideas influenced by coutnries such as greece and turkey – they have some lovely vegetable dishes and other speciailties.
I would love to try this out making a chicken casserole or a vegetable hotpot or stew xx
We need more than one way of cooking in our house- the other half and the boys are meateaters My daughter and myself are vegetarians and are into healthy eating – this cooker would be perfect for us two! a cooker just for us girls to make quick healthy meals!
I’ve never had any kind of slow cooker/pressure cooker but I know a few people at work who rave about them. They say they just bung everything in in the morning and when they get home from work they have a lovely dinner ready. I’m particularly interested in the risotto recipes.
My husband does all the cooking and this would make his life much easier
This looks fab! Would love to try a Casserole!

Would be lovely to make stews and casseroles in
I love the sound of how versitile and easy to use it is! The features sound very simple which is great! I do not own a pressure cooker. However, if I did I would make lots of tasty stews, soups, casseroles, curry’s etc. Sounds lovely!
I love it and think it would reallu suit a busy lifestyle, you could have tea ready in 30 minutes, fab!
I have always wanted a pressure cooker as I want to try cooking vegetable the healthy way by steam cooking rather than boiling and to do it faster.
This looks really easy to use, I don’t have a pressure cooker, so I’d love to win so I can try some recipes xx
this looks perfect for our busy house hold, I love the fact it looks so simple to use! I think id try something simple like a soup dish to start off with to get a handle on how it works and then try something a little more ambitious
This looks amazing, I could cook up an endless list of delicious dishes (I would do chilli con carne first as we all absolutely love it). I vaguely recall my mum having a pressure cooker years ago, but nothing like this, obviously x

I’d like to try to make a curry. I’ve not made one before.
I’ve always really wanted a Pressure Cooker but have always been wary of them for one reason or another, but it sounds like the technology has come on leaps and bounds in recent years and I think Tefal has come up trumps with this model? x
Never heard of this cooker before/used to use a pressure cooker all the time, not quite sure why I stopped using it.
i use a slow cooker now(which is great) but would love something that would speed up cooking for when you are in a rush.
Generally cook for 6/7 so anything that makes that job easier & faster would be fantastic.
I’d love to try one I’d have to experiment for us; a veggie family.
It looks fantastic, and would be great for some hearty homemade stews
I dont have a pressure cooker, I have wanted one for ages, but, my Sister got badly burned when hers exploded in her face. I love making soups, casseroles etc and would love to be able to cook them quicker, saves on electricity too 😀

Had an amazing bacon and leek risotto cooked in a Tefal Cook4me last night it was delicious.
Used a Prestige pressure cooker for well over 40 years wouldn’t be without it, so quick.
But I would love a Cook4me to use with it for lots of tasty food, cooked with fresh food.
Ive had my pressure cooker for 43 years and love it but would love to try this new product.

ive never had one of therse before. id love to make a stew
I left my old pressure cooker at my previous property and didn’t realise until a couple of weeks later when house had already been cleared and sold so would love another one. This version seems very intuitive and would definitley save time on preparing healthy meals and having children to look after. My first meal would be a chicken stew. The kids love it but it’s keeping an eye on it on the stove and worrying about meddling hands near hot hobs.
No I do not have a pressure cooker at home. My Mum had a pressure cooker many years ago. I’d love to try the Tefal Cook4Me as I do love food. I like the idea of the Butternut Squash Risotto. this looks like an amazing piece of technology. I’ve been nervous of pressure cookers since ( a long time ago) I witnessed a friend get hurt when the valve blocked and the food exploded out when he opened it…
However, the best bit about this is that it is totally safe! It seems to cook fantastic food and it is all so easy Ideal for any working mother with little time for cookin. would be a really quick way of cooking winter casseroles, and of course, fantastic ally health soups

My Nan used to have a pressure cooker when I was a child and it used to frighten the life out of me, all noise and talk of blowing up. Boy have they moved on, now I’m older and getting into cooking more (love my gadgets) I keep wondering if I’m missing out by not having one. my partner keeps going on about how great they are and he means the oldie style Your blog has just taken me to a whole new level of intrigue about them. This looks brilliant, I don’t have a pressure cooker but my mum does and I love it.
The Cook4Me looks amazing, I have a large family and we are always getting together at least once a week and we all love cooking. As an Asian family we cook rice everyday and lentils at least twice a week and not forgetting curry at least three times a week. The Cook4Me would change our lives for the better, at least everything would be more healthier. Good luck everyone.
This looks amazing for someone who isn’t as confident in cooking a storm (me!). I would definitely make soups and one pot stews.

This looks a wonderful machine, would love to try the sweet and sour pork recipe.
Pressure cookers are really popular in Indian cooking and I think I would make some fantastic cooking with this – it looks like a fantastic little cooker!
Would love to win this as it would make life so much easier. It looks really easy to use too. I have a pressure cooker, quite old, and I must admit a bit scary to use, so love the fact this acts as a sort of pressure cooker and slow cooker in one so I can have a hot meal prepared when we come home in the evening. I like the look of the Sausage and Bean Stew plus the potato and leek soup recipes
This is a fab time saver. I need one in my life!
I’ve never tried a pressure cooker – they always looked a bit scary to me and my Mum always had trouble getting the lid on hers.
This one however looks great – much easier to use and perfect for my chunky vegetable soupd – yum!
I love making marmalade in my pressure cooker because it always softens up the peel and makes such a lovely consistency before adding the sugar etc. However, my pressure cooker is very old now.
Looks like an easy to use and some great recipes for it. My mum is a big pressure cooker fan but this is state of the art, make me what to try it. The only think I know how to make in it is potatoes, so will get some tips from my mum.
This looks AMAZING!!! I would love it, as I have to cook dinner every night (so I would use it for main dishes frequently, as well as soups). Thanks for a brilliant giveaway, that would certainly make life much easier. Giving someone hours back every day is a wonderful gift 🙂 xx
No i have not got a pressure cooker, but after reading your review and how quick and simple to use , i will be looking for one. Love the recipe for the Italian vegetable soup , how much is it?
Would make a lovely curry.
This gadget looks like it would make family meals so much easier and quicker (maybe my partner would even be able to cook with it)
For years i used a pressure cooker,I loved it it was so quick for doing dinners. Then it started playing up & was hard to get the parts so got rid.But WOW how they have come on still quick but so stylish,Love the shiny black looks so cool.I would like to experiment more than i did when i had my old one.Never did rice so sweet & sour would be first on my list.
I don’t have anything like this – it would be great to try as I am working more hours now.

We don’t have a pressure cooker but my mother in law swears by hers.
I have always wanted a pressure cooker to expand the repertoire of recipes that we use. The Tefal pressure cooker looks a fantastic example, and I would love to broaden my horizons with it.
I don’t have a pressure cooker but remember my mom always using one when we were kids and she swore by it! This sounds brilliant, just what our family meal times need!
Looks like the ideal replacement for my burnt out pressure cooker (which I had for years and years and used frequently particularly when my children and grandchildren were small). Now we are retired this looks like a perfect way to cook quick and very healthy meals for my husband and myself and would tempt me to try new recipes – I am afraid we are rather stuck in a rut meal wise and tend to stick to the tried and tested!
I think it looks really handy, I don’t have one at home but would love to try out recipes like beef casserole in it
I love the fact it cooks so many dishes and soups and rice is a bonus, I had a pressure cooker years ago used to do the cabbage in it on a Sunday. have such a busy life would be marvellous.

This looks so handy I would try chilli to start with, I don’t already have a pressure cooker
I’ve not cooked with a pressure cooker since I lived at home, but would love to try one again – certainly we never made anything exciting in it, unlike the recipes above. I’d love to try one so I can get proper meals on the table in a reasonable time after finishing work.
I don’t own one but if I did I’d try to cook some nice stews =)
I love pressure cooker as a child my mother always made meals in it as she and my father had to work long shifts and we needed food on the table on the end of the day
I would love to win this and would use it to cook a collection of vegetarian soups and other dishes like vegetarian chilli. I used my old fashioned pressure cooker a lot, but am not able to use it now as I have changed my cooker to an induction range and the old pressure cooker doesn’t work on it.
I have an ancient Tefal pressure cooker for the hob that is so old the knob to seal the lid is broken. I have to use a towel to turn it so I dont hurt myself but I don’t want to throw it out. The Cook4Me would be a great replacement.
I love the idea of this cooker it would be great for making my sons favourite meatballs in
wow great prize always wanted one

I would use it for anything and everything as I am a keen and active cook. Fingers crossed x
I’ve got an old pressure cooker at home that we use a lot – mostly for curries and stews. It really does speed up the cooking time for these sort of things! It also scares the cat to death when it starts whistling! This Cook4Me looks a great modern update, I would love to try it out!
I like this cooker and features. I would like to make variety of curry recipe. I got a 8 years old fashion cooker, which now unusable. It would be great to have one of this cooker.
