EvoShave Review

amomentwithfranca · 22 February 2017 · 77 Comments

I love innovative products that bring something new to the market. Finding outstanding designs that will grab your attention straight away from the shelves is one of the things that I look out for in a product. We were approached by EvoShave to review their award-winning razor. I knew Nick would be keen to give it a test if after seeing their design. He was very intrigued and eager to try it.

EvoShave Review

WHAT IS EVOSHAVE?

Assets-15

Evoshave is a razor that has a completely new way of shaving. It comes with an EvoGrip handle that allows you to use finger muscles rather than the arm – allowing more control, more flexibility and an overall more connected, closer experience. It is made of a tough outer shell which feels solid and won’t bend or break easily. It is covered in a soft rubber with individual embedded grips.

PACKAGING

Evoshave Bundle

Evoshave packaging

Because EvoShave is an environmentally friendly company, they wanted to make sure that as much as possible in the starter pack is useful, and not just packaging for packaging’s sake. The only thing they advise to discard from their Starter Pack is the promotional card, which is 100% recyclable.  Everything else can be kept.

I really like the packaging. It has everything you need in one place. So it not only looks great but it is also very practical. Inside the case, you can see a tray that holds the EvoShave grip.

The carry case keeps your razor clean, dry and is also great to take with you when travelling. I thought this was a great idea as it keeps it all safe in one place.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Shaving now couldn’t be easier and can be done in 3 simple steps. See the image below:

COLOURS

Evoshave colours

Evoshave Aqua Blue

Evoshave Sports Green

Evoshave Jet Gray

The EvoShave comes in 3 different colours: Agua Blue, Sports Green and Jet Gray. I personally like a lot the Aqua Blue but Nick, a typical man prefers the Jet Grey. He says it is more his style.

CARTRIDGES

Evoshave Cartriedge

The blade itself has a patented Gothic Arch II edge which is considered the world’s finest blade profile design due to its unique single facet profile. At just 40 microns width, it forms a gothic arch at the tip of the blade that provides the ultimate sharpness, strength and durability.

With top-grade Sandvik Steel and an intense chromium nitride hard base working in conjunction with a soft Teflon coating, this blade gets the job done while also being gentle on the skin! The cartridge holder is very different too. All the cartridges can keep safe in a small container which also has an innovative design.

PRICE

You can get a starter pack for £4.99, a multipack for £24.69, a 4 cartridge pack for £5.99 and an 8 cartridge pack for £9.99 from Amazon. See the details below:

OUR THOUGHTS

I really liked the design of the EvoShave. It is very modern. I like the different colours that you can get too. They are very cool. The packaging is great and very practical to take with you when travelling. You can tell they have put a lot of thought into it. I think it could be really cool if they introduced something similar for ladies.

Nick said that he liked the product. He thought it was different and the way you hold it was very interesting. That experience was great. The blades are super safe so its much harder to cut yourself. He thinks his current razor is a bit quicker to use so there may be some trade off with having a safer blade. To be fair I think this is also because it takes time getting used to shaving with it and adapting your shaving technique. I’m sure the more he uses it the more he will love it and stop using the other razors.

What do you think of the EvoShave razor? Have you heard of it? Do you like the design?

✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our ✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our first week in Torrevieja was a mix of unexpected moments and relaxation. Sienna’s 9th birthday took an unexpected turn when she cut her thumb, and we spent some time in the ER getting a single stitch. 😢 But she’s a trooper and handled it like a champ..Despite this, we still managed at the start of that first week to soak up some sun, enjoy the pool, watch beautiful sunsets, and take in the incredible views. Evenings by the pool became our thing, creating lasting memories and a sense of calm. It wasn’t the week we had planned, but it turned out to be a week of quality family time and unwinding. ☀️🏖️.Swipe left to see our first week in pictures, and if you keep checking until the last photo, you can see Sienna’s stitch.
