Glam Goo Slime Fantasy Pack Review

amomentwithfranca · 30 July 2018 · 16 Comments

Bella is obsessed with slime. She spends hours making and playing with it. I’m not so much of a fan because I can see it everywhere which then makes me crazy, LOL! This slime from Glam Goo comes with containers that your kids can put the slime into which is a great idea because at least I know the slime stays in one place.

We received the Glam Goo Slime Fantasy Pack to review which Bella was of course, over the moon about. She is super happy about anything that is slime related!

She was really curious about how the whole process works and was desperate to get started with some mixing and adding some scents and sprinkles to her slime!

It is great that you can customise and decorate the slime, then you just store it and carry it with you in the cool fashion accessories! I must say that this was the best feature.

Content

  • 1x Container with Clear Slime
  • 1x Heart Necklace
  • 1x Cloud Charm
  • 3x Slime Decorations
  • 2x Colored Shimmer Powders
  • 1x Scent
  • 1x Information leaflet

The fantasy theme pack comes with two wearable slime accessories, a heart shaped necklace and a rainbow charm. It includes a container of Glam Goo (clear slime), three slime decorations (Mermaid Wishes, Cosmic Dust, and Unicorn Fuzz), two shimmer colours (Mint Skies and Magic Hour) and one scent (Rose Mist).

How it works

It is really easy to make the mixtures. You only need to mix in the shiny confetti included to create shimmering goo and add colour and scent for a really cool creation.

The information leaflet suggested 3 different combinations: Galaxy Crash, Story Book Magic and Ocean Crunch. See below how Bella made these slime recipes.

Galaxy Crash

To make this combination, you will need the following:

  • Magic Hour
  • Unicorn Fuzz
  • Cosmic Dust

Bella loves this combination the most. She put it inside the necklace which she wears all the time, taking it with her everywhere. And when I say everywhere, I literally mean everywhere! To the park, in the car, to the movies, etc. It is part of her at the moment, LOL!

I must admit that I really like the colour and how it looks. It is very cool and yes, fashionable. Bella combines it very well with her clothes too.

Story Book Magic

To make this combination, you will need the following:

  • Mermaid Wishes
  • Unicorn Fuzz
  • Cosmic Dust
  • Rose Mist

This combination has much more colour than the other one. It is very sparkly and Bella decided to put it inside the rainbow keyring this time. It looks pretty cool inside.

We thought we would find a keyring accessory in order to have the rainbow hanging but this was not included. The rainbow has a special hole where you can put a keyring through. We finally did this today and now she is able to carry it with her together with the necklace everywhere. It is cute!

Ocean Crunch

To make this combination, you will need the following:

  • Mint Skies
  • Rose Mist
  • Mermaid Wishes

This is the third combination that Bella made. The slime provided was exactly to mix 3 combinations. This third one didn’t have a container, so Bella found a small cat shaped tin she had from something else. She wanted to give this one to a very good friend so she put the Ocean Crunch mix inside the tin for her. When she saw her friend she gave it to her. Her friend was super excited! I thought that was really cute and lovely.

The Glam Goo Slime Fantasy Pack has an RPP of £14.99 and you can get it from major toy retail stores such as The Entertainer, Argos, Amazon, etc.

OUR THOUGHTS

My daughter had a lot of fun mixing all the different combinations. She really loves having the slime on her hands. She had a great time watching how the slime was getting its shape and colour. She definitely enjoyed having all the sparkles in the slime. It is better if you keep a clean area to make the slime so they don’t make any mess. It is very slippery but the more you mix it the quicker it gets a consistency.

As I mentioned before, what she loved the most was to put her mixed slimes inside her necklace and rainbow charms. She loves that and she takes it everywhere. And when she fancies playing with it, she just takes it out and starts playing! The fun never ends with this pack! I am not a big fan of slime but I know kids love it and this one is great because you can keep it safe inside the containers.

We have also done an IGTV video of Bella testing this pack. She did the 3 combinations. You can watch the video HERE.

Do your kids love to play with slime too? What do you think of this pack?

Love you all ❤️

My kinder love the slime, slime making, slime playing… and have a knack for leaving it on things like furniture, pillows, fabric… Argh, whoever invented this slop clearly was not a parent! I know they love it, but my new sofa has a purple stripe that does not come out! At least this lovely kit looks contained! Looks like good fun, no matter! <3 #KCACOLS xoxo

Slime, definitely the stuff of the devil. My kids decided to add every single paint and glitter colour to theirs to make a grey goo. It ended up in hair, on the carpet, on the sofa, even the cat got sparkly #KCACOLS

Kids and their slime tho I do love playing with the stuff, until it gets all fluffy. I love that this can be taken out on the go tho in the little pendant case.

✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went t ✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went to @javawhiskersuk , a cat cafe located in @westfieldlondon . This was my present for Mother’s Day from her🌸.🌟 Before we went inside, we had to go to a separate room to wash our hands and remove our shoes..🐾 They have 2 different rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge and you can choose to stay from 55 mins to 1hr 55 mins. The prices vary depending on the room you choose and the length of time..🍰 When we stepped inside the room we were greeted by a group of gorgeous kittens. We ordered (before we went inside the room) a latte and a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate melted inside that was so good. This was served to us in the room while we were surrounded by these adorable kittens..🐱 We spent 55 mins playing and petting the kittens. They were so cute. We loved interacting with them..🥰 Their cafe is also a foster home for homeless cats so if you are looking to adopt one, this is the place to visit! They have had 230 successful adoptions already! 🙌🏻.🚨 The only downside is that you have to be over 10 years old in order to be allowed inside the rooms 😬.🐈 If you are a cat lover like us, I highly recommend you visit Java Whiskers! It is the perfect place to unwind and relax with these beautiful kittens! 🙌🏻.Have you visited a Cat Cafe before? 🐈‍⬛ .#javawhiskers #catcafe #catcafelondon #londoncafe #westfieldlondon #londondayout #daysout #thingstodoinlondon #newplaces #londonguide #lovecats😻 #catsofinstagram #catloversday #londonthingstodo #whatsonlondon

I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you? ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" is one of my favourite Peruvian desserts. When I was In Peru, I of course, made sure to have it not only once but several times 😉.This dessert is made of manjar blanco (milk, sugar, almond flour, egg yolks, vanilla) and meringue (egg whites, port, cinnamon) 😘.The history behind this dessert starts with Amparo Ayarza who was the creator. Her husband, José Gálvez Barrenechea was a poet and was the one who gave it its name. The poet called it "Suspiro de Limeña", which means, 'Sigh of a Lima lady', because it is soft and sweet like the sigh of a woman. Love this 🥰.Have you ever tried "Suspiro Limeño"? Or have you heard of it before? Would you try it? .📸 Picture taken @panchitasazoncriolla in Lima that has one of the best versions of this dessert 🙌🏻.#suspirolimeño #peruviandessert #meringue #merengue #desserttime #dessertlover #dessertpic #dessertgram #peruvianfood #cocinaperuana #gastronomiaperuana #perufood #peruviancousine #whatisfordessert #dessertsofinstagram
