Introducing Boxy Girls Season 1 – Review

My girls love their dolls. We have so many different types of dolls but they love to play with them all. The girls recently received a couple of characters from the new Boxy Girls range.

If you haven’t heard of Boxy Girls before, they are a great new range that you can unbox, just like your kids favourite You-tubers do. There are 4 different girls all with their own interests and YouTube channel. They love shopping online, clothes, makeup and accessories.

The Boxes we received

Each girl, Willa, Nomi, Brooklyn and Riley, comes with 4 boxes each. The boxes are filled with fun fashion surprises for your doll. You can also get fashion packs too which include 6 secret boxes with a host of surprise posh and luxury fashion items inside such as clothes, shoes, make-up and more!

The big boxes were easy to open. They had a tear me up section so you only needed to tear that part and the boxes would open. I thought that was practical.

Nomi

I did this review with Bella as the dolls are recommended for ages 6+. We opened Nomi first. Nomi loves everything with sparkles and bling. You will always find her at the party in the trendiest fashion finds – from puffy skirts to glittery earrings.

There was a hidden fashion surprise in each of Nomi’s boxes. This meant we got 12 fashion surprises in total. Bella found a bag, hair extensions, shoes and a set of earrings and a necklace. Nomi’s outfit was a pink skirt with a top and silver shoes.

The little surprise boxes were sealed with sellotape so Bella used scissors to open them. It didn’t take her long to do it.

Also, the boxes came with confetti and some came with tissue paper but they all included stickers and a “Thank you for your purchase” card.

Willa

After opening Nomi’s boxes, Bella was ready to open Willa’s box. Willa loves everything beach & boho fashion! She will never turn down a new pair of Flip-Flops or anything flamingo print.

Willa also came with 4 boxes which Bella was so desperate to open! Bless her! The boxes had so much attention to details. They were very cool! They all had “Fragile” and “handle with care” symbols on them too. You wouldn’t want to damage your accessories before you got use them, would you! lol

Willa’s outfit was a blue dress and brown boots. She was very fashionable!

Fashion Pack

The Fashion Pack had 6 boxes to open. Bella was very excited to open this pack. She first got a set of earrings and necklace together with a pink nail varnish.

The second box had a top, the third box had purple sandals, The fourth box had a skirt. The fifth box had another pair of sandals but this time they were pink. And the last box which was also the biggest package had big sunglasses.

OUR THOUGHTS

Bella loved these dolls. She really enjoyed opening each box and finding out what surprise was inside. She loved that she was able to put the earrings on the dolls ears too. Another thing Bella commented on was that she thought the square shape of their heads was very cool. The dolls are also completely movable too (elbows, knees, hands, etc). This makes playing with them so much better as you can actually move them, sit them down and put them in different poses.

The one thing she mentioned was that she would have liked more outfits. She loves changing her dolls clothes so this was a little bit disappointing for her. However, the shoes and earrings made up for this.

This is definitely a great new range and even better, season 2 will be out soon so you can keep on building your collection too! You can buy your dolls and surprise packs from Smyth’s and all good toy stores or you can head over to Amazon to start your collection.
