June Favourites

I’m trying something new for this post. I’ve seen people doing this all over the internet and I thought it could be fun for me to do it too, so I will give it a go and will try to publish one post every month. This post is about my June Favourites.

I have so many favourite things from the past month that I found it very difficult to pick just 5 but I guess I will need to start somewhere. I have picked two beauty products (makeup), one hair product, one daily/intimate product (pantyliner) and one product we use for my 5 year old daughter.

1. BENEFIT HOOLA POWDER BRONZER

I love this product so much, it is one of my makeup products that I can’t leave the house without having on. I read about it a long time ago as it has excellent reviews and a lot of people have recommended it. I decided to give it ago a few months ago and have been using it non-stop since. I loved it from that moment on. The color is perfect for contour – it defines your face beautifully. It is a must try girls.

2. BENEFIT BROW ZINGS

This is my second beauty (makeup) product for this month. Again, this is another product from Benefit that I love so much. This and the Hoola Bronzer are my 2 makeup products that I can’t leave the house without. I have become addicted to it having never been that bothered about my eyebrows before I tried this product. It is amazing how it gives you a beautiful shape and colour to your eyes. It definitely makes them look bigger as it draws attention to that part of your face. I have always used a simple brown pencil to do my eyebrows but this kit it is so good that I can’t believe it took me so many years to find something like that. You should give it a go if you have not tried it already.

3. DOVE INTENSE REPAIR 60 SECONDS SHOT

This is my number one product for my hair. It is an intense repair shot for your hair – a treatment to use once a week. I try to apply it every Saturday when I’m washing my hair. It leaves your hair incredibly soft and looking really healthy and definitely helps you to avoid having to go to the hairdresser too often. This is handy if you are living on a budget like me as every visit to the hairdresser is a big expense. Also, it helps to rejuvenate the tips of your hair bringing them back to life. I have been using this product for a few months now and I cannot be more happier – I really recommend it. It is not just really good but smells amazing too. I like it so much that I have a repeated monthly subscription order from Amazon. At the moment I’m receiving 3 shots per month although I think I should have 4 per month (i.e. one per week) but I guess it is fine what I have at the moment. Another product that you should try.

4. ALWAYS FLEXI STYLE SCENTED PANTYLINERS

This product is really good. I found it as a casualty really. I needed to buy some pantyliners and I was looking for ones with wings so they stayed in place all the time. While searching in the store I realised that Always had this option of pantyliners and I immediately thought that I should give it a try. I could not be more happier to have decided to give it a go. The most important feature of this product is its flexi style. It has been designed in such a way that you can use it with any type of underwear and you won’t have the typical problem that it won’t fit properly. This is very important because we as women use different types of underwear depending on the occasion or on which day of the month we are. I mean you can wear a thong, a boxer. a brief, very big ones or very small ones and this pantyliner will fit and will stay there as it has very good sticky wings. Also they are scented so they smell incredibly nice too. What more can you ask!

5. CHILDREN’S PORTABLE TOILET POTTY POTTIES URINAL

My last product is for my 5 year old daughter. I bought this product because of the necessity of having a small portable urinal where it can fit in my bag easily and can be used for emergencies. Do you know how many times we have been in the car where we are nowhere near somewhere we can stop for a break or we are stuck in traffic and she is desperate to do a wee. There is no way they will wait and if you ask them to wait it could potentially end turn into an accident! This product is so useful. My daughter knows exactly how to use it on her own. The great thing of it is that she can do her wee standing up like a boy LOL which makes it easier for her. Much better than having to crouch down closer to the floor. She can do this in the car and firstly expands it. After doing the wee it should be sealed so the liquid stays there so it doesn’t smell. You then throw away the wee as soon as you can and wash it thoroughly. You then push it down to collapse it, reducing its size so it is easy to take with you. It comes with 3 different characters but the one we love the most is the duck. Since we bought we have been using it a lot. I tend to bring it with me everywhere. I ordered it from Amazon and apparently it was shipped from China but didn’t take too long to arrive considering.
