Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all enjoying the last week of the summer holidays! We had 34 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
We have had some lovely events and days out that were so much fun. We went to the Royal Opera House for their Family Sundays. It was great. We went with Nick’s brother and family so the girls were very excited to spend the day there with their cousins. We also went to Clip N Climb for a family climbing session in Chelsea. I am scared of heights so I wasn’t going to try this but then I saw Nick and the girls enjoying their time that I thought why not give it a go too. I was very nervous but after doing it I loved it.
We also went to Rollerbowl in Romford, Essex for a family bowling session. It was a little bit of a journey for us but it was worth it because we really enjoyed it. I also went to a Halford’s event at the Haymarket hotel. I met Victoria Pendleton who was launching her new bike range. She has a new range of bikes for kids which are gorgeous. I would like one!
Sienna was a little bit unwell. She had a rash which ended up getting infected, so we had to visit the surgery twice because of that. She has been on antibiotics and is now much better. Bella conquered her fears of performing on a stage by herself. She was brave enough to sing in front of a small group of people at a concert. She wouldn’t have done this before so I am very happy that she pushed herself to do it. Her singing was lovely and she felt so happy to have done it.
Each linkup, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

Ad-Gifted | ✨A FUN DAY AT THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE✨ On Sunday we went to the @royaloperahouse in Covent Garden to attend one of their Family Sundays. We went with Nick’s brother's family so the girls were super excited to spend the day with their cousins. The Royal Opera House is an impressive venue so it is just wonderful to be able to walk around inside the rooms, halls and corridors with the kids. They have organised set Sundays for the family to come along and enjoy a lot of different activities during the 4 hours that it is open (from 11 to 3 pm). We couldn’t believe the amount of activities they had on offer! We didn’t know what to choose! We were given a booklet with all the information with times and rooms where to go. So the kids designed a mask, made a bug in a box as well as their own conductor’s waistcoat. They also took part in dressing up. Sienna absolutely loved this. Then, they took part in a sing at the ROH session. They had so much fun singing here. We also listened to a story telling and we watched a fun and lively animation that introduced the stories of Coppelia and Carmen. The kids also saw a lovely quartet playing as well as a session on how to conduct with the RCM. We went outside to the roof terrace to have our lunch with the lovely views of Covent Garden. It was very pleasant. We spent most of the day there and the kids had a super fantastic day! 🙂 The tickets for the Family Sunday are £36 for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). I thought this was great value for what you are being offered as well as letting your kids learn more about the world of opera and ballet which is invaluable. So if you are in London for the weekend head over to the ROH and spend a lovely day with the family in the heart of London! Have you been to the Royal Opera House? #royaloperahouse #london #familysundays #familytime #whattodoLondon #familydaysout

Ad-Gifted | ✨ 𝙁𝙐𝙉 𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙈𝘽𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙒𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙎 ✨ On Saturday morning we went to @clipnclimb_sw6 to try a 1-hour session around their 21 wall challenges. We were all super excited! 😃 My girls have done some climbing before but this was my first time. I wanted to give it a go and I tried a couple of attempts. I didn’t go all the way to the top because I am scared of heights but I did manage to climb more than half way up! And that for me was a big achievement! 😆 I was very scared when I was ready to go down but I needed to let myself go through the robe. I honestly felt that I was going to fall but I just threw myself and prayed for the best! 😂 It was all fine of course. The girls and Nick climbed most of the walls that were available. Before we started, we had a quick safety briefing and harness fitting. We then had 55 minutes of climbing time in the Clip ‘n Climb arena. Nick tried 2 of the 3 special attractions too (leap of faith, stairway to heaven and the vertical drop slide). These are not included in the standard session ticket. You have to pay extra for them and they will give you a ticket. The vertical drop slide was not available on the day we visited. Nick stumbled a little bit trying the stairway to heaven and almost managed to do the leap of faith but he felt at the end. Check my stories under “ClibNClimb” highlight to see how we all did. You will laugh when you see Nick trying the leap of faith! 🤣 Sienna was amazing. She reached the top of the wall a few times and even tapped the red button. I was very impressed! She absolutely loved it. She has no fears 😫 They have adult sessions, toddler sessions (age 2 to 4), boxercise and climbercise. They do birthday parties too. Check their account to find out more about timings and prices. 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚? #clipnclimbchelsea #clipnclimb #familydayout

BREAD PAINTING 🍞 . We’ve redone an old favourite, but this is the #dairyfree version! I first tried this when Arthur was really small and it was a hit 😊 We made edible paint using dairy free yoghurt and food colouring and then painted it onto dairy free bread before toasting under the grill and spreading on a bit of #df spread and eating! As you can see, Charlotte even had a go at painting her nails 😆 . To do this one yourselves you will need: . - @jacksonsbread (df and sf) - Gel food colour (we used these: https://amzn.to/2ntF6PK - affiliate link) - paintbrushes - @kokodairyfree yoghurt . . . Have fun! 🙌🏻 . . . . #watchthemlearn #Learningathome #learningthroughplay #earlyyearsideas #eyfsideas #learningbydoing #playideas #importanceofplay #earlyyears #eyfs #activityideas #toddleractivity #toddlerplay #messyplayideas #sensoryplayideas #childdevelopment #playingtolearn #importanceofplay #earlyyearsteacher #pretendplay #teachersofinstagram #earlyyearseducation #teacherblogger #teachershare #teachersfollowteachers #invitationtoplay #stimulatinglearning #kcacols #pblogger

We had 34 linkups! On Thursday we had 10 posts that needed more comments. Today we reduced this number to 1. I am happy to see that we reduced a fair amount this time. So 33 posts had more than 4 comments which is great. Thank you!
Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 9 people on Thursday. Today, we managed to reduce this number to 4 people. I am glad we manage to reduce both numbers. Thanks, guys for commenting.
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, MALIN @senlearnuk and CRYSTAL @Crystal_SLM and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
