#KCACOLS – 1st March 2020

amomentwithfranca · 29 February 2020 · 1 Comment

Welcome back to #KCACOLS. We had 26 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

PLEASE READ

Please remember that this linky is all about commenting hence the reward of being featured. I cannot chase people individually. That is why I send the “Thank You Email” so people can check the list and also make sure if they have been mentioned so they can go back to the linky and do their commenting.

This last couple of weeks have been busy. We had half term and my niece coming back from visiting my eldest sister in Switzerland so we had some things planned to do. We went to a wrestling event for the new series of the TV show Robuzuna which was in Balham. It was about an 1 hr journey but it was fun for the girls so it was worth it. Then we went to Covent Garden for a walk. We also went to different restaurants to try them out. My niece loves eating in trendy restaurants/cafes so we went to Pastaio, Franco Manco, Amorino, Gail’s among others. It was yummy. We also went to Hampton Court which was so much fun.

We also went to Lightopia which is a lantern festival in Chiswick which was awesome. And finally this morning we went to an exclusive premiere of the new Andy and the Band TV show which included a live broadcast of the band performing. It was a fun experience.

We have still been a little bit unwell. I guess there is still a virus around. Sienna got a stomach bug as well as Nick. Bella and I got it very mild but it lasted longer. Finally, we are all much better now. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Each linkup, I love sharing a photo from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here is my favourite:

#KCACOLS ON INSTAGRAM

Thank you so much for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. It is lovely to see your photos there! We have more than 13.6k photos that have used the hashtag which is lovely! I love when you use the hashtag. After a lot of consideration, I have decided that I will not do a feature on my post any more. But please keep using the hashtag. I always check it and like all the photos there.

KCACOLS CROWD FACEBOOK GROUP

THANK YOU to all of you that have joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. You can join us here. Also if you do join, please send me a direct message with the name of your blog so then I know who you are without having to figure out your blog name 🙂

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY

If you are not already subscribed to be informed of new KCACOLS Linky emails, you can click the button below to subscribe:

Send Me #KCACOLS New Linky Notifications

We had 26 linkups! It seems that this is the number that we are having lately but the commenting has been much better so I cannot complain. On Thursday we had 10 posts that needed more comments. By Friday night (deadline for commenting) we manage to reduce this number to 1. So happy with that outcome.

Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 3 people on Friday morning. By Friday night, we managed to reduce this number to 2 people. However, I checked later today and we improved this number to 1 and this one was because of a missing hashtag so there is still a comment. Thank you everyone for commenting!

Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.

I also wanted to say that I will need all your comments to be done by Friday as I won’t be doing any counting on Saturdays anymore. So Friday Night will be the deadline for all comments for now on.

FORTNIGHTLY LINKY

The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.

The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.

I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.

LINKY TWEETS

I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!

Tweet Me!

PLEASE REMEMBER

  • I am not pushing for the 4 comments per post anymore. I will keep showing a list of posts that have fewer comments on my Thank You email to encourage people to comment more on those but after that, I will not keep asking. It will be lovely if we can get a minimum of 2 comments per post but of course, we should be aiming for more.
  • To approve your comments and check your SPAM folders (this is such a HUGE problem for me as it keeps being part of why I can’t have a current list as I know for sure lots of posts have comments that have not been approved yet)
  • I’m expecting a minimum of 4 comments per person (1 host, 2 co-hosts and the post before yours) and if you link up 2 posts I would expect 5 comments as a minimum per person (1 host, 2 co-hosts, the posts before yours and 1 more )
  • To comment on the post before yours. If you have any problems commenting on the post before yours please just send me a message and I will do my best to help.
  • If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous with each other and spreading lots of love.
  • Do not link up and run.
  • Do not forget to add the linky badge.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:

PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

GUEST CO-HOSTS FROM THE PREVIOUS LINK UP

I would like to say THANK YOU so much to TRACEY from One Frazzled Mum and MALIN from Sensational Learning With Penguin for helping me with the commenting this week! They did a great job! 🙂

GUEST CO-HOSTS FOR THIS LINK UP

My first guest co-host this week is KELLY-ANNE from Mimi Rose And Me. Kelly-Anne has helped me co-host the linky many times. I have also mentioned and featured her before. She is lovely and she supports this linky a lot which is really nice. Kelly-Anne is a writer, blogger and mum to a beautiful girl called Amelia. She is married to Tony and together they have set up their home in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk. She is a self-certified tea addict, a lover of the 50s, stationary and she eats way too much Haribo. Please give her social media accounts some love (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@Mimiroseandme) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, In A World Where You Can Be Anything, Be Kind linked up too. If you could please go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!

My second guest co-host this week is EMMA from Me and B Make Tea. Emma has co-hosted many times and she has been featured and mentioned lots of times too. She has 2 gorgeous boys. She blogs about fun food ideas, days out, random thoughts and the bits in between! She is happily married and she is lucky to live nearby the beach. Please give her some love to her social media accounts which are (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@meandbmaketea) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, LinkedIn for Bloggers: Why and How to use it! linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!

FEATURED POSTS – TOP 3

The first person who commented a lot was STEVE from The Diary of Dad. This is awesome! I am so excited to have Steve at the top of the commenters for the first time. This is the first time that he is joining the linky and he has smashed it commenting all of your posts. I am so happy to have another daddy blogger linking with us. It is lovely to see new people understanding this linky since day one. Thank yous so much Steve for all your comments. He has commented on 21 posts! His post from last week was Who said romance is dead?. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can

The second person who commented a lot was CLAIRE from Life Love and Dirty Dishes. Love it when we have a second linky in a row that someone is back at the top 3! And so Claire is back for the second time. She has linked up with us a few times but I have never mentioned or feature her before. Thank yous so much Claire for your support. She has commented on 18 posts! One of her posts from last week was To The New Mum Who Has It Nailed After Two Weeks And Thinks The Rest Of Us Are Lazy. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can

The third person who commented a lot was SARAH-MARIE from Tired But Crafty Mummy. It is fantastic to have Sara-Marie back within the 3 commenters again! She has been very supportive of this linky which is so nice. I am very happy to see she get this linky very well. She has done a great job commenting on many of your lovely posts. She has commented on 14 posts! One of her post from last week was The Fish With A Wish. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can.

FEATURED POSTS – TOP 6

Behind Steve, Claire and Sarah-Marie were LYDIA from Pandora and Max with 11 comments, JEREMY from Thirsty Daddy with 10 comments and ANN from Rainbows Are Too Beautiful with 9 comments. Thank you so much to all of you! 🙂

For this week’s linky I am linking up 6 Places to Visit In London With Kids and Six Interesting Tours To Take In London so I hope you like it! 😉

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!

[do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on:

  • one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
  • the guest co-hosts posts.
  • the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
  • and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.

That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, KELLY-ANNE  @Mimiroseandme and EMMA @meandbmaketea and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
