Welcome back to #KCACOLS. We had 11 linkups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support.
PLEASE READ
In my last post, I mentioned that I would take a break to think about the future of this linky. It is very obvious that the world is changing and therefore people’s needs are also changing. And as expected, the blogging world has been also affected. Linkies are no longer in demand as they used to be 6 or even 10 years ago. It was lovely when this idea was first created and I was so happy and proud to start my own linky. KCACOLS has been more than a linky to me as it has become a lovely community.
But in these last couple of weeks, reality has finally hit me and I cannot lie to myself anymore. It is now clear that this chapter is about to end. I am very sad to say this but this will be the last linkup for KCACOLS. It is upsetting to see it go but it is definitely the correct time to do it.
I really hope that we manage to have a last great linkup to remind us of all the memories that we have had during these 6 years. I am so grateful that I got to connect with all of you like minded friends. If you need anything, please know that my inbox is always open. I will also keep the Facebook Group open so we can all still reconnect there. If you need any help or would like some support, please do not hesitate to go there and ask any queries.
So, there is one last thing for me to say: Good Bye and I wish you all the best in your blogging journey!
I am also sharing one last time, a photo from my last 2 weeks on Instagram:
KCACOLS CROWD FACEBOOK GROUP
THANK YOU to all of you that have joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. As I mentioned above, I would like to keep this group open so we can keep connected and try to help each other. You can join us here.
FORTNIGHTLY LINKY The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm. The co-host and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week. |
LINKY TWEETS
I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will, of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
PLEASE REMEMBER
|
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS: PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is very important so I can see how many comments you are doing and then feature you in my linky post, which is always great for you as you get a backlink that helps improve your DA). |
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).
GUEST CO-HOSTS FROM THE PREVIOUS LINKUP

Now let’s carry on with the linky:
RULES:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge, which is found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. Any subject is welcomed but please keep it family-friendly. No graphic violence, explicit sexual content, etc. You can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- host post
- the guest co-host post.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca and LYDIA @LydiaCLee and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) that would be fantastic!! 😉
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂

As i mentioned before, I’m very sad to see the link up go. However, I understand. You should be very proud of the community you built over the last 6 years. Good luck with the next chapter and I’m glad I did finally manage to pull my weight as the last bell tolled. Thank you for your years of tireless effort!
I’m so sorry to hear about your family catching it again so soon. Our understanding with the vaxxed plus booster here is that you still catch it and spread it, you just have a reduced risk of serious illness (with Omicron, but less likely to catch or spread Delta or Alpha). Hope oyu dodge it all the same. Our schools just went back so i’m presuing it will walk in the door any day now.
Best wishes to you all.

Thank you, Lydia. It is really sad and it was a difficult decision but it was inevitable. I am so happy that you are my last co-host, someone that has always been very supportive of this linky. Thank you for that! ❤️
Yes, we all got covid at the end, including me. The symptoms of Omicron are milder than Delta so I feel better than back in November and my girls are now back to normal (no more symptoms since day 2 – 3) with negative tests now. The problem we have now is how can they go to school on Monday if Nick and I still have it! Only way is if Nick has 2 negative tests in a row and so far he is still positive today. It is a nightmare! Let’s hope tomorrow and Monday change to negative. I am still on day 3 so not much I can do yet!
I hope things don’t get too messy in Austraulia when schools open but the good news is that this virus act as a vaccine at the end as it gives you more immunity and the symptoms are milder. Good luck over there and thank you for all your support! Xx
