amomentwithfranca · 18 April 2018 · 20 Comments

The weather is finally getting better and the mood is definitely changing. With that in mind, we are soon hitting the summer and the festival season is upon us! It is always nice to be able to take your kids to a family-friendly festival and for a London based family like us, finding a festival that is based in London is even better! This is the case with Monstrous, a new children’s festival coming to Printworks, London.

Monstrous is a new family festival set to debut this summer with an incredible line-up designed to delight the whole family. It will be running this summer on Sunday 29th July.

The event, which will take place at the award-winning Printworks venue, will host over seven fantasy worlds jam-packed with live shows and amazing experiences for mini festival goers.

ZONES

Do you like festivals? Have you attended family-friendly festivals before? What do you think of Monstrous? Will this be something that might interest you?

*Disclosure: we are collaborating with Monstrous Festival in order to create awareness of this children’s festival. We have been invited to attend the festival too in exchange for a review on my blog.

Love you all ❤️

Looks great fun, especially for younger kids. We took ours to SportFest a couple of years ago which was brilliant – they had two days of trying out so many new & different sports and they loved the live music at night.

That sounds fun! I was at Kid/Dub yesterday (you might know it from the Edinburgh Festival?) so my pick would be the dance party – we had such a BLAST! #KCACOLS

No stars. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Paid £130 for my children to stand in the roller skating queue for 3 HOURS (no exaggeration whatsoever) then when they finally had been roller skating they’d shut off all the other queues so they couldn’t go on anything else.
No air con as advertised, it was sweltering!
No fairground rides as advertised. No circus performers as advertised. The inflatable was split into two half’s with staff saying they couldn’t fit it in. Promise of 100+ games consoles…..nope.
Rude staff who just didn’t want to be there (prob too hot to cope!)
Disappointed children crying everywhere. Just terrible.
