The weather is finally getting better and the mood is definitely changing. With that in mind, we are soon hitting the summer and the festival season is upon us! It is always nice to be able to take your kids to a family-friendly festival and for a London based family like us, finding a festival that is based in London is even better! This is the case with Monstrous, a new children’s festival coming to Printworks, London.

Looks great fun, especially for younger kids. We took ours to SportFest a couple of years ago which was brilliant – they had two days of trying out so many new & different sports and they loved the live music at night.

That looks wonderful for any kids who enjoy a lot of busyness and colour; a great range of activities.

No stars. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Paid £130 for my children to stand in the roller skating queue for 3 HOURS (no exaggeration whatsoever) then when they finally had been roller skating they’d shut off all the other queues so they couldn’t go on anything else.
No air con as advertised, it was sweltering!
No fairground rides as advertised. No circus performers as advertised. The inflatable was split into two half’s with staff saying they couldn’t fit it in. Promise of 100+ games consoles…..nope.
Rude staff who just didn’t want to be there (prob too hot to cope!)
Disappointed children crying everywhere. Just terrible.
