A few weeks ago Nick and I were invited to a super fun event. CasinoEuro organised an evening of champagne, games and mystery for us and a group of other bloggers, influencers and celebrities, held at The Dorchester which, if you didn’t know, is one of the best hotels in the UK. We were treated to drinks followed by a three-course meal and an evening of mystery, intrigue, spinners and winners whilst we dined in the hotel’s Park Suite. How amazing does that sound? I was also excited because we get to dress up for this event and also Nick and I were having a child-free evening!
I have never been to The Dorchester before but I have been passed it so many times because Nick and I used to work in Mayfair, so it was a lovely invitation for us! Of course, I couldn’t attend such a fab event without getting myself pampered. I really wanted to look nice so I had my hair and makeup done.
I really loved how they did my hair and my eyes! I love a good cat eye look! I chose to wear a lovely black dress that had an embroidered detail all over it. I was feeling AMAZING! It is so important to be pampered once in a while! I can highly recommend it! 😉
We used a taxi to get to the hotel because we didn’t want to be all sweaty in the tube. It was actually a very warm day so it was a great decision. I was able to cool down in the car while we were taken to this lovely venue.
The Dorchester is impressive from wherever you look at it. It looks amazing outside and inside, OMG it’s a dream! I loved every minute that we were there. The Park Suite is not far from the lobby so there is no way you will get lost. I, of course, had to get advantage and take a few photos inside. The decoration was divine!
We then made our way up some stairs to the Park Suite. When we arrived they had set up a reception area where you were able to take the typical photos for Instagram. We took a few photos here which was fun.
With Lisa Snowdon
With James Jordan
We then were taken to one of the rooms. We were welcomed with Prosecco and canapes. It was all really nice. At this point, I didn’t know what to expect from the night. I just knew we would have a great time! Looking around I realised there were a few celebrities. I didn’t know beforehand so it was a nice surprise. Lisa Snowdon (TV presenter), James Lock (TOWIE cast member) and James & Ola Jordan (Strictly Come Dancing) were there! They did a Facebook Live stream during the night.
While we were there, they ran an online slots tournament which I thought was very cool. They showed us a cool game called Holmes and the Stolen Stones. At this point, I realised that we were having A Sherlock Holmes theme for the night which I really liked!
We all took turns to play the game. It was pretty easy and simple game but of course entertaining. We just needed to press a button and wait to see if we were lucky! Pressing the button automatically started several spins in succession. After my turn, I ended up being in the third position! I was very impressed with my luck, LOL! I knew it wasn’t going to be for long because there were a few more people playing after me, including Nick.
When Nick’s turned arrived, I was already out of the top 3 so I was hoping he would get us back there. I really wanted to get one of the 3 prizes so Nick needed all his luck! He actually did pretty well! He was in second position! How fab is that? After him, more people took their turn but he stayed in second place but was tied with the third placed player, so they each played again to confirm who came second. Nick was even better and won pretty well, confirming second place! So we got to bring a prize home. It was a fantastic 2006 LP bottle of champagne! Yay for us! Thank you, Nick! 😉
After this fun tournament, we were then invited by Sherlock Holmes himself to go into another room where we would have a 3-course meal and solve a mystery case! This sounded super interesting. The room was all set up really nice! I loved the table centre pieces.
Our Table: Table 3
There were 3 tables and therefore 3 groups. We were going to dine but at the same time, we were going to compete against each other. There were 7 of us on our table including TOWIE’s James Lock. We were 5 ladies and 2 gentlemen. We found props on our seats, including an old fashioned magnifying glass. It was actually very heavy.
I also got a 60s cigarette holder, a pearl neckless, a long umbrella and a vintage hand fan. The hand fan was actually very useful when we were in Mallorca. Each table got a brief and all the information we needed to play the game. It was very fun trying to find the murderer.
While discovering all the details, we had a lovely dinner. We ate tilapia for our starter, pork for our main, cheesecake for dessert. And then tea and coffee together with petit fours.
We had Sherlock Holmes and the police guiding us through the night! The people on our table were very keen to win so we really made an effort to try to choose the correct suspect!
Table 1 did an enactment of the facts which was very fun! It made me laugh seeing them all dressed up in their 60s outfits! We got involved as much as we could with this game and I think Holmes actually liked us because he was very keen to give us good advice too!
At the end of the night, each table had to give the name of the person they thought was the murderer. After the enactment, Holmes announced the murderer and which table was correct! And guess what? Yes, our table WON! We were winners again! After two wins and a lovely dinner surrounded by a group of lovely people, I must say that we really had a fantastic night! We had so much fun playing these cool games thanks to CasinoEuro.
It was then time to go back home. However, the excitement didn’t end as we had the chance to play more games at home! It is so easy to play with the CasinoEuro app. You just download it on your mobile or tablet. It is available for Apple and Android. You can play anywhere and at any time. Of course, you have to be older than 18 to play and you should be responsible. Play with caution and most of all have fun!
PLAYING AT HOME
We installed their app and tried playing the Holmes and The Stolen Stones game first, particularly as we had done pretty well at the event. However, our luck seemed to run out as we didn’t do very well. So we then decided to try playing another game called Emoticoins which was much more up my street as it was all about matching Emoji’s LOL! We did much better at this, and managed to trigger a WILD BLAST, whatever that is LOL!
Although not something I would normally do, we did have fun playing the games, and there are plenty to choose from, all with their own themes. There are also more traditional style games, such as card based table games. I think playing these games can be great if used casually and not taken too seriously. Thinking back to the event and how enjoyable it was, I think it might be great to play at home with a group of friends for an evening of fun, perhaps with a few drinks!
*Disclosure: we were invited to this event to learn more about what CasinoEuro has to offer. This is a collaborative post. We are not encouraging people to gamble, just highlighting our experience through the event and after playing some games at home. Please read all the information given at CasinoEuro.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love you all ❤️

What a treat and you looked amazing by the way.
My brother used to cheekily pop in to the hotel to use the loo when he worked nearby.

Wow! I’m not really in to casinos or slots (largely because I’m hopeless) but I would show myself up playing badly if it meant that I got to go to the Dorchester – it looks amazing! Your dress is lovely too! #KCACOLS
