An Exciting Easter Adventure with Jumanji The Next Level

amomentwithfranca · 14 April 2020 · 22 Comments

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend! We had so much fun because we received a cool Jumanji The Next Level box to do a Jumanji themed Easter Egg Hunt. The girls were desperate to do this Easter Egg Hunt since we received the box! Bless them!

An Exciting Easter Adventure with Jumanji The Next Level

AD| Paid Collaboration with Sony TV

We received a box full of goodies to set up our Jumanji Easter Egg Hunt. The girls watched the original Jumanji movie during half term and then they watched the 1st sequel movie. They both loved it, so they were super excited to watch the 3rd movie, Jumanji The Next Level. We didn’t have the chance to watch it in the cinema so this Easter weekend was the perfect timing for that as it is now available on digital and on DVD and Blu-Ray. You can buy your own copy of Jumanji The Next Level here.

Unboxing of the Easter Egg Hunt Box

We first opened the box and showed the girls the contents of it. They got even more excited as they saw chocolate eggs, clue cards, Jumanji passports and stickers for the girls to use as they follow the hunt and find their eggs. We also got some cool strengths/weakness cards and some activity sheets.

Setting up the Hunt

We received 4 little chocolate eggs, 7 medium chocolate eggs and one big chocolate egg. We hid the chocolates around the flat and then used the clue card to write up 8 clues so the girls could try to work out where the chocolates were and start looking for them. Preparing this was actually a lot of fun. The girls were so eager to start.

Activity Sheets & Strengths/weaknesses Cards

While we were setting up the chocolate egg hunt, the girls were doing the activity sheet. They loved it. They had to spot 6 differences between 2 pictures, colouring, check some facts and more.

They also used the strengths and weaknesses cards to write what were each other’s strengths and weaknesses to use as a team to guess the clues and find the eggs as well as the bonus prize. The girls enjoyed doing this too.

Getting the Girls Ready

The girls got their Easter basket ready as well as their passport books ready to use the stickers to mark off as they collect the eggs. They had to guess the 8 clues. It was so much fun.

They were pretty good as they didn’t hesitate the answers at all and found all their chocolate eggs straight away.

Finding the Jumanji The Next Level Blu-ray

For the last clue, they had to guess where the last and bonus prize was. We have a treasure box at home so we decided to put the big chocolate as well as the bonus prize which of course was the Jumanji The Next Level movie.

The girls enjoyed every step of this Easter Egg Hunt and the Jumanji The Next Level theme made it even better!

Getting ready to watch Jumanji The Next Level

After the girls guessed all the clues and found their chocolate eggs and the final prize which was Jumanji The Next Level Blu-Ray, we got ready to watch with the Jumanji Popcorn tubs provided. We loved the movie.

JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL catches up with Spencer (Alex Wolff), Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain), Martha (Morgan Turner) and Bethany (Madison Iseman) three years after their first adventure in Jumanji’s mystical video game world.

When Spencer goes missing inside the game ahead of the group’s planned reunion from college, his friends, along with his grandfather (Danny DeVito) and his grandfather’s friend (Danny Glover), once again inhabit the avatars of Dr. Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), “Mouse” Finbar (Kevin Hart), Professor Sheldon Oberon (Jack Black) and Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan) to rescue him. As they return to Jumanji, they discover that nothing is as they expect. With more action and surprises, the players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape.

Trying the “which avatar are you” Instagram Filter

There is also available a fun “which avatar are you” Instagram filter that we have tried too. You can also have a go and find out which Jumanji The Next Level character you are! You can find the filter by clicking the link HERE from a mobile device or by visiting the @sonyhomeentca Instagram account and selecting the middle filters tab on the profile.

Our Jumanji Easter Adventure was a lot of fun. The girls were very excited and loved every minute of it. We made a lot of stories during our adventure.

Don’t forget that Jumanji The Next Level movie is now available on digital and on Ultra HD™, Blu-Ray™ and DVD

Are you a Jumanji Fan?
