A few months ago we reviewed the Pet Parade Play Garden Playset from Flair. It was a fun playset that Bella still plays with and really likes. They have now launched a new range of Family Mum and Baby pets (cats and dogs) which are adorable.
When we received the box, Bella really liked it. She saw the little kitten and said: “Oh, how cute is this?”. Then she realised that the kitten’s mummy was there too so she was even more engaged with the toy.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the Pet Parade Families and babies walk and have realistic movements. They can be made to walk and move using a joystick button on their back. Pressing this button makes the puppy walk in the direction their owner chooses and allows kids to move their pet’s head, eyes and tail! It’s a lot of fun!
One thing that we found interesting with this new range is that the babies can be attached to their mummy’s tail which meand they can then follow her around! The lead attaches to the collar on either the mummy or the baby, and their mouths attach to each other’s tails.
Another interesting thing is that each pet has their own tag so you can customise this with the name of your little friend. The set comes with 1 Mummy, 1 baby, 1 lead, 1 customisable collar and 1 dummy. The dummy was something that really caught Bella’s attention. She really enjoyed playing with it. She was putting it on and off all the time.
There is one thing that I hate the most when you buy or receive a toy, which is when it needs batteries to function. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing the disappointment on a child’s face after realising they can’t play with the toy in front of them because it needs batteries. Well, with this toy, you will not have this problem as it does not need batteries giving you endless play. This is a big plus for us.
The Pet Parade series now has a growing range of toy pets for children. These include kittens and puppies. We now have both of them which is great so my girls can play for hours with both.
The Pet Parade YouTube Channel has 14 brilliant webisodes where your kids can have even more fun watching their pets in action.
This is a really lovely toy that will keep Bella entertained for hours! She is very happy and has played with it a lot! This toy is designed for children aged from 4 to 8 years old. It retails at £9.95 and you can buy it from different retailers.
