Portobello Cat Print Collapsible Storage Box – Review

amomentwithfranca · 12 June 2015 · 7 Comments

Hola! The other day I was sitting in my girls room having a moment and having a quick glance around their room and suddenly my eyes stopped in front of these beautifully designed boxes that I got for my daughters last year. Then I thought: “why not share with other people how useful and practical these boxes have been to me”, so here we are, I thought why not do a review for you.

PORTOBELLO CAT PRINT #1

These boxes not only are pretty but very practical as they have a very important feature which is that they are collapsible! Yes, you can fold them flat when you don’t need them any more to use in a future moment. I got them from a website called The Works. They are selling for £6.99 per unit or 2 for £10. What a great deal! This website is a great place to get diverse items such a books, stationary, art & craft, toys & games, office products, kids products, gifts and home & leisure products.

Portobello Box

They come flat in a square shape and the dimensions are Height: 23cm, Width and Length: 36cm. They have different designs where you can choose from and I love this particular design because of the pink colour and the cats. I’m a massive fan of cats – I love them.

Portobello Box 3

As you can see they come in 2 pieces: the lid and the rest of the box. It has metallic buttons on each side which you need to click one into the other one in order to build it, which is very easy and quick to do. You can have it built and ready to use in less than 5 minutes. How awesome is that!!! Amazing right?

POrtobello box 5

The material is very strong but at the same time it feels very light. It also comes with two metallic handles at each side which is super practical when moving it around. This is one of the features that I like a lot and I think it distinguishes it from other boxes.

I have also done a video on my youtube channel about this product, so you can see how easy is to build it. Please see the video below:

Review Portobello Box

I really recommend you to buy these boxes if you want to add some additional pretty designs to your kids rooms besides being able to store some of their toys, clothes, etc.

I hope you find this review helpful and if you like it click here to get one of them 😉

How adorable! The metal handles would definitely be a plus. I have some collapsible canvas boxes from Ikea, but they don’t have lids and aren’t strong enough to stack. Thanks for linking with #TwinklyTuesday! So glad to have you join this wonderful community!

My daughter have similar boxes and they are extremely useful. In the one of the box I am putting some things for memory like her first clothes, picture etc. In another I am putting all the cards she got for a new born and her birthdays. These boxes can be used for so many different purposes!
