PostBoxed Review – Do you love receiving parcels and getting all the excitement of discovering what’s inside and what type of gift have you been sent? But at the same time aren’t you fed up with waiting in for packages or having to travel miles to the nearest delivery office to pick them up? If the answer is yes to these questions you are going to love what I’m going to tell you!! 😉
You will be very happy to know that these problems have now been resolved by PostBoxed, so who are they? They are an online gift shop & gift service selling high-quality, hand-wrapped small gifts that are all letterbox friendly. From organic baby bodysuits to handmade artisan leather wallets and fantastic Made in the UK jewellery, you will find a small present for any special occasion.
They founded the company after getting sick of travelling to their local delivery office to collect parcels. If you just want to give friends and family a gift, why should it come with the onus of either annoying a neighbour, standing in a queue or searching your garden for a missing parcel? And while we think using drones or robots to deliver parcels is all well and good in the future, there is only one way of ensuring your gifts definitely make it to a recipient’s hallway: make sure it’s a postboxed gift.
To understand a little better how this works, have a look at the infographic below:
They have a really varied selection of gifts within different categories so it is easy to find the perfect gift. This sounded very interesting and unique, and seems like the perfect service for busy parents like us. I was very keen to find more about it so I was really excited when they asked me to review one of their letterbox gifts. This was exciting as I was very curious to find out what I was going to get!
My gift was sent first class via Royal Mail and arrived the next day. I thought this was fantastic service. If you are in a rush to get a gift to someone at the last minute this would be a really good option for you. When it arrived I was impressed that it was already in my letterbox. It had the perfect size. It came in a normal parcel style box with their logo so it was very clear that this was from Postboxed.
Inside the box, the gift was beautifully wrapped which I was really impressed with. I didn’t want to open it because I didn’t want to rip the paper off, lol. I was very careful anyway as I was also very curious to find out what was inside. It also comes with a custom-made gift card which was lovely and had a really nice touch.
When I unwrapped it, I found a chocolate bar but this wasn’t a normal bar. This was a Omnom chocolate. I have never heard of them before but it caught my eye as it looks really cool and different. Apparently this is an Icelandic brand. How unique is that – very different indeed! It was a Dark Milk & Burned Sugar Chocolate.
Unfortunately, I don’t like dark chocolate much so it was a shame as when I saw it was chocolate I really hoped it was milk chocolate. However Nick really likes dark chocolate so he was the perfect person to try it instead of me. Apparently he said that it was very nice and actually tasted nicer than normal dark chocolate does, so that was great! For lovers of Dark Chocolate this would be a nice little treat but I will recommend you to find out first if the recipient likes dark chocolate just in case, ;-)!! We were lucky that Nick was very happy to try it, lol!
I think this is a great alternative to get your gifts beautifully wrapped so you can send them in a speedy way if you know what I mean. It is perfect for friends and family and they will love receiving such a cute little gift. Their are items at different price ranges at affordable levels. This could be just perfect for Mother’s Day. It is a shame that my girls are so little that they can’t check this post but I guess Nick could do something about it, lol!
I will definitely recommend them and I will use them in the future for birthdays, new baby arrivals, Christmas, Teacher’s gift, etc. You name it, there will be plenty of opportunities to use them.
If you would like to know more about PostBoxed you can also find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and you can also browse around their boards on Pinterest.
*Disclaimer: I was sent this letterboxed gift in exchange of an honest review. All of this is my honest opinion about this service.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love you all ❤️

What a great idea. Shame about the dark chocolate (but not for your hubby!). I love things that come through the post. I am a particular fan of beautifully wrapped things and yours did look really stylish. I can see why you didn’t want to open it. Definitely worth a look. I loved the branding. #KCACOLS

This is indeed an excellent idea. We have all been in a situation when we were not home to collect the delivery which leads either to a visit at your local post office or ringing a neighbour’s bell hoping s/he was there to collect it. This company actually does the exact opposite of Amazon which delivers disproportionate large box even for the tiniest of products.

You are right with the disproportionate large boxes that Amazon uses. Interesting! 🙂
