Mr Big Tops Sweets by Post Review

amomentwithfranca · 20 April 2016 · 144 Comments

How lucky am I to be able to review a sweet subscription box that comes by post? Yes you receive this box through your letterbox and I love this idea! I was so excited to hear from the lovely people at Mr Big Tops that they wanted me to review one of their boxes again. The first time I heard of them was when I had the opportunity to review a beautiful Mother’s Day Hamper. One of the items I received was one of their delicious boxes. This time I was even more excited to receive another box to do a dedicated review and to also be able to offer a GIVEAWAY for you, my lovely readers! You can find out more about this at the end of the post! 😉

This box looks fabulous and is definitely eye catching! It’s a lovely, clever and super fun design. They have definitely done a good job with it!

So, who exactly is Mr Big Tops? He is a wacky inventor that lived in 1901. He is most famous for his fantastical travelling sweet box invention that can transport those classic sweets we all remember (but are now hard to find!) through time to the present day through the post. All sweet boxes are filled by Mr Big Tops himself and his helpers!

door

Mr Big Tops’ sweets by post are cute little boxes that pack a big flavour punch. The box, which is recyclable, fits perfectly through your door so you don’t need to worry about missed delivery cards and trips to the post office to collect your parcels.

The box opens very easily as it has a push and peel style lid. It comes with 4 windows that you can peel to reveal a variety of different bags full of delicious sweets.

Anyone who places an order will receive a delivery bursting with a tempting selection of traditional sweets. From refreshers and sherbet dips to gummy bears, mushrooms, liquorice strips, aniseed balls and cola bottles, Mr Big Tops’ pick and mix sweets are taste bud-tingling from top to bottom. It’s perfect for anyone who finds it hard to find the traditional sweets they used to eat as kids. Their brand new website invites visitors to pick up a (virtual) scoop and dive in. Shoppers can pick upto six different types of sweets which will be packed in a fun box and then sent through the post. You can add gift messages too!

The box I received contained:

  • Giant Jazzies
  • Fruit Caramels
  • Choc Peanuts
  • Pear Drops
  • Strawberry Fizz Wiz
  • Sherbert Fountain
  • Watermelon Slices

I thought all the sweets were really tasty, apart from the sweet and sour ones (watermelon slices) that were a bit too sour for me, although my hubby loved that one actually, lol!

✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our ✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our first week in Torrevieja was a mix of unexpected moments and relaxation. Sienna’s 9th birthday took an unexpected turn when she cut her thumb, and we spent some time in the ER getting a single stitch. 😢 But she’s a trooper and handled it like a champ..Despite this, we still managed at the start of that first week to soak up some sun, enjoy the pool, watch beautiful sunsets, and take in the incredible views. Evenings by the pool became our thing, creating lasting memories and a sense of calm. It wasn’t the week we had planned, but it turned out to be a week of quality family time and unwinding. ☀️🏖️.Swipe left to see our first week in pictures, and if you keep checking until the last photo, you can see Sienna’s stitch. She was such a brave soul. 💪.Now, who else has had unexpected adventures during their travels? .#Torrevieja #BeachView....Costa Blanca | Torrevieja | Family Ttravel | Sunsets | Pool Relaxation | Holiday Memories | Family Bonding | Spain | Alicante | Travel Blogger |
