i like to stay close to home in the summer, we in the midlands so it’s always special to pack up, head to the seaside with my family & parents and watch the children enjoy every minute together.
My ideal summer spot is somewhere with moderate to cool temperature (nope, not a summer person here) eg Scotland or Scandinavia in general.
Oh and I’d go with my Mom! 🙂
Would love to go to El Nido, Palawan again with the hubby. 🙂

My ideal summer getaway is a road trip. We go at least 3 times every summer. We always go to different places. Simple is so much fum.

I’ve always been dreaming of a summer getaway to Mauritius with The Hubs.
I would go to the beach in Key West, Florida to just relax with my partner and then go to celebrate the sunset.
A road trip around Italy would be awesome, trouble is I’d struggle to narrow down where I’d go. Everywhere. With my hubby.
Somewhere in the UK actually- Cornwall or the lakes with some lovely walks. We dream of having a motor home actually as, due to my eldest’s autism, he doesn’t really like unfamiliar places. A motor home so we could travel the UK and take a piece of home with us would be ideal 🙂
A nice, quiet retreat to a cabin in the woods with my SO. Look up at the stars at night and then inside enjoy a hot cup of tea by the fire.
An ideal summer getaway would be an Eastern European country. Eastern european countries are normally visited during the winter, but they also have so much more to offer during the summer times and the nature and climate is just right and beautiful that you wouldn’t ever want to leave the place.
My ideal summer getaway would be a road trip across the US on Route 66. It would be a great trip with my hubby. 🙂

Harbour Island, the Bahamas, we saved up and went as a belated honeymoon, 2 weeks before we left I found out I was pregnant, so no cocktails and tanning for me! I was stuck in the hotel room with morning sickness.

I would love to be on a nice cool private beach with my family. It would be bliss.
My ideal Summer would be spent with my other half in the West Country (Dorset, Devon or Cornwall) visiting some beautiful scenery and stunning English gardens. I’d also love to walk the South coastal path. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too hot and we would get plenty of rain to keep it nice and fresh!
