We are very lucky to get to review another game from Spin Master. This time we are reviewing Bellz! Magnetic Game. We recently reviewed Hatchimals CollEGGtibles, also from Spin Master, which were fantastic, so we were hopeful that this game would be great to play and review. We love playing games as a family so we were very excited about this one.
Bellz! Magnetic Game Review
Bellz! is a fun but challenging magnetic game. It is very easy to play. You only need to unzip the storage pouch to open up the game arena. Inside are 40 bells in 4 different colours and a magnetic wand.
The game is a lot of fun to play. It is perfect to get the whole family together as it is a game for all ages. Whether you are 6 or 106, Bellz! can be played no matter the age. This is another game that was great to play with both of my girls. I was so happy to see Sienna excited about playing.
The game comes with simple instructions and has easy gameplay. Everyone can join in with the hope of picking up the most bells! Each game lasts approximately 15 minutes so it is very quick to play and leaves you wanting to play it many more times. It is good to play with 2 players or more. But actually, I have seen my girls playing it on their own so it is great entertainment even if you are on your own.

GETTING READY
There is not much you need to do before you can start playing this game, as everything you need is inside the pouch which is very handy. We decided to sit down on the floor to play this game to avoid getting the bells everywhere.
We sat in a circle and opened the pouch. All the bells (pink, blue, green and gold) were inside. so we chose each a colour. Bella was pink, Sienna blue, Nick was green and I was gold.
AIM OF THE GAME
The aim of Bellz! Magnetic game is to pick up as many of coloured bells during your turn as you safely can by using the magnetic wand. Once you have picked up your first bell, that is your colour. The player must choose to end their turn before inadvertently picking up any wrong coloured bells. If you do pick up a wrong coloured bell during your turn, you must remove all the bells you acquired during that turn and return them to the playing area ending your turn.
The orange magnetic wand has two different strengths of magnets. The player must choose one end to use at the beginning of their turn, however, the player must continue to use that same end through the duration of their turn. It is an easy concept but can be quite challenging.
Up to 4 people can play at a time. When the game is over all the pieces are kept together by zipping the surface you play on in half. The winner is the first person to collect all their 10 same coloured bells.
PLAYING
Bella, who started the game, was a little bit nervous and worried that she wouldn’t be able to do it. It is of course not easy because as soon as you put the wand near the bells, they all tend to group together regardless of the colour. So you need to be very careful.
She found some pink bells that were a little bit to the side and decided to pick those. She did it straight away. I was impressed as I thought she wouldn’t manage, but I was wrong. She was great. Next was Sienna. She didn’t really understand the details of the game but she understood that she needed to use the wand to collect all of her blue coloured bells. She managed to do it correctly a few times, but a lot of times she was picking up different colours too. Because she is only little we decided to let her carry on and she was very pleased with herself. Bless her.
Then it was my turn. It was harder that I thought at first but the more you play the better you get at it. So I was actually very good at this game, and I actually ended up winning all the times we played! Clever mummy, LOL! This game is very addictive. You want to keep playing!
Nick went last. He was very good at the game too. He actually tried to challenge himself a lot trying to get bells that were in the most awkquard positions! He was great actully but because of that he lost a few times.
Bellz! Magnetic Game has an RRP of £14.99 and is available to buy at all good toy stores like Argos, Amazon, etc. See the details for Amazon below:
OUR THOUGHTS
We all really liked Bellz! Magnetic Game. I can highly recommend it. It is very fun to play with simple instructions. It is not easy but it is very cool to play. It can be played by all ages and it is compact which is very handy for travelling. It is definitely a game that I will pack when we go on our summer holiday. It could be great to play in a restaurant too when you are waiting for your meals so your kids are entertained. This would make a great birthday party gift too.
What do you think of the Bellz! Magnetic game? Do you like it? Have you played something similar before? Would you like to get it too?
