Trending Advent Calendars for Christmas 2020

amomentwithfranca · 24 November 2020 · 13 Comments

I know this year has been different and not what we expected. It has been long and full of challenges so now that we are almost getting to the end we are all counting the days to Christmas and what better way to do this than with a cool Advent Calendar. I was searching for different and trending Advent Calendars to open this year and I came across a few that I thought are worth mentioning.

This is a list of Advent Calendars for different members of the family, so, for instance, you will see options for the men in the house, the lovely ladies and of course for the kids. This way you can choose what best suits your family.

1. Tinc Advent Calendar

Tinc is a British creator of colourful and creative stationery, gadgets, and accessories for children of all ages. Founded in 2011 by husband and wife team, Jos and Heli Baker, Tinc strives to inspire children’s imaginations and help them discover the joy of making, learning and doing. The name ‘Tinc’ is an abbreviation of all that the brand represents: Think. Inspire. Create.

Tinc’s Advent Calendar is perfect for the lead up to Christmas, celebrating the holidays from the 1st December right up to the big day. Priced at £25, the gifts inside include pens, pencils, notebooks, click torches, whistles, squishies, and so much more.

The box looks lovely, very colourful and cute. We can’t wait to start opening this Advent Calendar. We love stationary!

2. Smiggle Advent Calendar

Smiggle is the go-to brand for children’s gifts this year! From backpacks to cool gadgets, Smiggle has a fantastic array of colourful, fun and on-trend products at a variety of price points.

Inside the Smiggle Advent Calendar, you will find 25 limited edition stationery goodies that cannot be purchased in-store. And to make things even more exciting, each calendar comes with the chance to win a HUGE shopping spree at Smiggle! So you will have the opportunity to win a Lucky Ticket. Each person who finds one of the 30 Lucky Tickets will win a £500 shopping spree in the Smiggle store of their choice! How fab is that?

The value of the contents is £50 but the calendar retails at just £28. My girls are desperate to start opening this Advent Calendar. They love Smiggle!

3. Friends Advent Calendar

Mad Beauty’s new licence with Warner Brothers launches with their Friends ranges, 25 years after the programme first aired. How cool is that?

This Friends 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar is packed with beauty goodies to surprise & delight each day. Not only that but the iconic yellow peep hole frame detaches to keep and use elsewhere. I love Friends so I am very excited to open this Advent Calendar. This Advent Calendar retails at £17.99.

4. Disney Princess Advent Calendar

What a cute Advent Calendar from Mad Beauty. You can collect bath and body products. With all these goodies you can transform yourself into a Princess. How cool is that?

The Disney Pop Advent Calendar will be perfect for Bella. It retails at £17.99.

5. Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar

Of course we cannot forget our traditional chocolate Advent Calendar and why not get a Cadbury one. We love Cadbury especially their dairy milk chocolate so this is always a good choice for us.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar is Cadbury’s No 1 best-selling advent calendar. You will find chocolate advent shapes hidden behind each door. It retails at £2.19.

6. Lynx Africa Countdown Advent Calendar

Lynx, the iconic deodorant brand has also launched its Christmas Countdown Calendar for the 12 days running up to Christmas.

The complete 12-day Lynx Africa Countdown Calendar contains everything needed for guys to stay on top of their grooming game in the lead up to Christmas. This set is jam packed with goodies, including: Lynx Africa Body Wash, Body Spray, NEW pair of socks and a variety of other grooming essentials.

This Advent Calendar is perfect for the men in your life. It is available at Boots, nationwide and in Ice Chill variant exclusively on Amazon. It retails at £20.

7. Glossybox Advent Calendar

This is my favourite Advent Calendar. I love Glossybox. I have had a subscription with them almost since they started back in 2014. I am always so excited to receive my monthly box by post.

When they decided to also do an Advent Calendar 3 years ago, I just had to get one. Last year I missed the deadline and couldn’t get one, but this year I was determined to get my Glossybox Advent Calendar so I pre-booked on time.

It comes with 25 luxurious beauty treats worth over £390 to enjoy all the way up to Xmas. If you are a beauty lover this is for you. It is not cheap. If you are a subscriber you can get it for £80 but if you are non-subscriber it will cost £99.

I know this is not for everyone but this year I felt I needed something to cheer me up. I can’t wait to start opening it next week.

8. The Advent of Change Calendar

Now if you would prefer to get a calendar which donates to a different charity every day, the Advent of Change Calendar is for you. This way, instead of receiving something each day, you will be giving something each day: 24 donations to 24 incredible charities.

Each day, you will discover exactly what you’ve given, from helping to provide safe housing for a homeless person to providing a dream day out for a sick child, or helping to support the UK’s frontline workers. How lovely is that?

Advent of Change calendars are all completely plastic-free, using compostable and recyclable packaging, and made in the UK. It costs £17.95 and you can get it from their website Advent of Change.

Their latest addition to the non-profit collection is an innovative Advent Candle which donates over 75 per cent of proceeds to 24 charities throughout the festive countdown. The natural wax burns down to reveal the number each day and comes with an accompanying booklet to discover exactly what your donation has meant for the charity. It costs £24.95.

9. Beanies Coffee Advent Calendar 2020

If you are a coffee lover like me and Nick, then this is definitely a great option for you. With 24 windows to open, you’ll find different stick sachet combinations behind AND 2 mystery flavour jars! How cool is that?

Beanies Advent Calendar contains:

  • 44 Beanies stick sachets (two per day, assorted flavours)
  • 2 jars of Beanies Christmas flavour coffee (assorted flavour)

Beanies sachets are sugar-free, only 2 calories per cup; gluten, wheat and dairy-free as well as nut-free. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. This Advent Calendar costs £20.

10. The Protein Ball Co. Guilt-Free Advent Calendar

Now, if you are the one that would prefer to stay out of all those chocolate treats and instead would prefer to remain healthy, then The Protein Ball Co. guilt-free advent calendar would be a fun and delicious way to welcome advent without the guilt.

This Advent Calendar is perfect for fitness enthusiasts and clean eating fans who are looking for a healthy alternative to the traditional, sugar-laden calendar. This advent is packed full of yummy 100% natural, no added sugar, bite-size protein balls, with six tempting flavours to enjoy behind each door. All flavours are vegan so everyone can get stuck in.

Presented in a bright, funky and festive design, The Protein Ball Co. advent calendar costs £19.99.

What do you think of this Advent Calendar list? Have anyone caught your attention?

*Disclosure: I received samples of the Advent Calendars for the purpose of this blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love you all ❤️

I love all the advent calendars around now. I remember back to the ones we had when I was growing up. The best ones we had were the ones my mum made herself. Each day we had different little gifts, it could be a sweet or a little car. But everyday it was a lovely surprise!

✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went t ✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went to @javawhiskersuk , a cat cafe located in @westfieldlondon . This was my present for Mother’s Day from her🌸.🌟 Before we went inside, we had to go to a separate room to wash our hands and remove our shoes..🐾 They have 2 different rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge and you can choose to stay from 55 mins to 1hr 55 mins. The prices vary depending on the room you choose and the length of time..🍰 When we stepped inside the room we were greeted by a group of gorgeous kittens. We ordered (before we went inside the room) a latte and a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate melted inside that was so good. This was served to us in the room while we were surrounded by these adorable kittens..🐱 We spent 55 mins playing and petting the kittens. They were so cute. We loved interacting with them..🥰 Their cafe is also a foster home for homeless cats so if you are looking to adopt one, this is the place to visit! They have had 230 successful adoptions already! 🙌🏻.🚨 The only downside is that you have to be over 10 years old in order to be allowed inside the rooms 😬.🐈 If you are a cat lover like us, I highly recommend you visit Java Whiskers! It is the perfect place to unwind and relax with these beautiful kittens! 🙌🏻.Have you visited a Cat Cafe before? 🐈‍⬛ .#javawhiskers #catcafe #catcafelondon #londoncafe #westfieldlondon #londondayout #daysout #thingstodoinlondon #newplaces #londonguide #lovecats😻 #catsofinstagram #catloversday #londonthingstodo #whatsonlondon

I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you?
