5 Creative Lighting Hacks For The Bedroom

amomentwithfranca · 13 May 2020 · 34 Comments

If you’re looking for more creative ways to light your bedroom, LED lights can be the best option. They’re low energy and money-saving, they have the ability to transform your room into a variety of different moods and styles, and they’re versatile.

Below are 5 creative ideas for different ways to light your bedroom.

1. LED Hidden Lighting Strips

Lighting strips are a great cost-effective way of lighting your bedroom, most lighting strips are available with colour changing lights which allows you to set the mood quickly. Strip lighting can be hidden under furniture and architectural features to focus on the most interesting areas of your bedroom. With the lights hidden, they create a simple minimalist look whilst lighting your room effectively.

2.Bedside Reading Lights

Bedside table lights are an essential part of bedroom lighting, reading lights are not only useful but are a clever way to add hints of style into your room. You can have bedside lights that are attached to the wall creating a sleek flow of light or bedside table lights that allow for more intricate styles. One way or another check out Skull Bliss for some inspiration.

3.Pendant Lights

Pendant lights are an extremely effective way to creatively light your bedroom. If you have a corner that is just collecting dust, adding a low hanging pendant light can turn it into an interesting feature of your bedroom. If you’re looking for a more minimalistic look, flush LED pendant lights offer a clean, contemporary look to your bedroom lighting.

4.Vintage Lighting

If you want your bedroom to have a classic and sophisticated style, vintage lights are a great option. Shopping for vintage furniture can be great for the environment as well as adding an extra flare of traditional interior style to any room, whether you would like to add vintage features to a minimalist style or dive completely into a vintage fantasy bedroom. To keep costs down you could shop for a vintage light that needs some DIY work done before it can be used.

5.Neon Lights

Neon lights are a creative way to bring mood lighting into your bedroom. With neon lights available in a large variety of colours and shapes your bedroom can be transformed with the flip of a switch. Expressing your personal style and creativity through a neon sign can help tie your bedroom together and create a fun atmosphere. Not all neon lights are expensive, there are neon signs available with led lights to cut costs whilst still giving your room the atmosphere a neon sign achieves.

Do you have LED lights in your bedroom?

We only have a standard light fitting in our bedroom but I like the idea of hanging a pendant, maybe a vintage one in the corner and making it a feature!

I love the led strip lights idea. That would be perfect for my eldest sons room. I’m not ready for him to have lamps or anything yet so would be great way to let him have the light safely.

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
