Hola chicos, it’s already the end of May which means its not long until we celebrate father’s day on 19th June. I know I always seem to mention it but wow, it’s amazing how the time has flown so fast this year. I was searching for some inspiration for Father’s Day gifts and found these 8 great gift ideas from House of Fraser.
This list of Father’s Day gift ideas has a little bit of everything. You will see some items in the list are a little more expensive whilst others are much more affordable so you have options for different types of budgets. You can see my list below:
- Armani Jeans Belt With Logo (reduced from £65.00 to £52.00)
I saw that the main belt Nick uses is quite worn and probably won’t last much more wear and tear so I thought of finding a replacement for him. When I saw this belt from Armani I immediately thought that it could be perfect for him. It’s available in black or brown which are both practical colours.
2. Bakerstone Basics Outdoor Oven – 12 Inch Pizzas (Reduced from £199.98 to £63.99)
This is just a super cool gift. I was thinking that this could be a perfect gift for my father in law who loves cooking outdoors, so with this basic oven he would be able to cook delicious pizzas for all of us! 😉
The BakerStone Box uses a patent pending technology that uses the heat from your BBQ to evenly distribute the heat in the box via conductive, convective and radiant methods. This unit produces fabulous results when cooking homemade pizza and can also be used to cook other foods such as cookies and breads, to sear meats and to cook fish. How awesome is that?
3. Roberts Revival Mini DAB Radio Black (£150.00)
This is another super cool gift. Nick is always listening to music. For all of you that didn’t know (probably everybody apart from his family and me LOL) he used to play in a band when he was at university. Can you believe it? I didn’t believe him when he first told me as he doesn’t look like that kind of guy, LOL. He loves playing his guitar although due to Bella breaking his acoustic one he hasn’t been able to play much recently. I guess he will need a new guitar but in the meantime this cool vintage style radio will fulfil his passion for music ;-).
The size and built-in battery charger makes it ideal for taking outdoors. Take it into the garden or on a luxurious picnic. This would also make a great gift for anyone that loves both music, and vintage style. It is a little bit pricy but it is so cute this radio that I thought to mention it.
4. Howick Classic Leather Washbag (Reduced from £40.00 to £24.00)
A wash bag is always a very practical, useful gift. I like the size of this one and the dark colour is perfect for a man. I was thinking that this could be a great present for my dad if I had the opportunity to celebrate father’s day with him. He is in Peru so I won’t be giving him a present this year. Hopefully we will be able to celebrate it together another year.
This leather wash bag offers a full zip and a hand-held strap which is ideal for those days on the go. The single compartment is spacious, ensuring plenty of room for essentials. This men’s toiletry bag will provide your luggage with a practical yet high-quality staple.
5. Jo Malone London Cologne Collection (£70.00)
If you are looking for a classic and elegant gift then you have to think of Jo Malone. You will never get it wrong with them. Their products are amazing and this set of different cologne fragrances is just the perfect gift for him.
This cologne collection comes with the following selections: Tantalising Lime Basil & Mandarin, quirky Earl Grey & Cucumber, intense Pomegranate Noir, mellow English Pear & Freesia and opulent Peony & Blush Suede.
A short sleeve shirt is always welcome in a man’s summer wardrobe so it is a perfect gift too. I like this shirt from Polo Ralph Lauren because of the colours. It has some pink which I actually love a lot to see incorporated into a man’s wardrobe. Nick has a few tops and shirts in pink and I think he looks great when he wears them.
It comes in 3 different colours: Pink, Purple and Rose. So you have different options to choose from. I also like that it is 100% cotton.
7. Calvin Klein Eric Plaid Woven Pant (Reduced from £35.00 to £28.00)
Nick is terrible when it comes to wearing PJs. At home he generally won’t wear them and uses just boxers and a t-shirt, or old tracksuit bottoms. The problem is when we are sleeping away he needs to be presentable. I thought that these pyjama bottoms from Calvin Klein would be the perfect solution for when we are staying with friends or family, or when we are travelling.
When I saw these pyjama bottoms, I immediately thought of Bella. They would be a great gift from her to daddy on Father’s Day. She is looking forward to making her own card for him this year, bless her, so this will be great to go with that.
8. Emma Bridgewater Black Toast Fathers Day 1/2 Pint Mug Boxed (Reduced from £19.95 to £15.96)
Last but not least we have this adorable mug that says “Dad is my Hero“. This could be a perfect gift for Sienna to give to her daddy for Father’s Day. It would be just so cute, no?
Black Toast is a classic and timeless range from Emma Bridgewater. It would be so nice to see daddy using this every day when he has his coffee first thing in the morning!
Well these are some ideas that I have put together for Father’s Day. I hope that this has given you a little bit of inspiration when choosing your gifts.
What do you think of this list? Do you think it was useful? Have any of the items caught your attention? Do you have your gifts in mind already? What would be your gift list for Father’s Day? Please leave a comment below as I would love to read what you think.
