When you think of tourist experiences in London, what is the one thing that is most likely to pop into your head? A tour on a red London bus is one of those really iconic things that symbolise everything that London has to offer tourists don’t you think!
But what if I told you that you could enjoy a trip on a vintage 1960s Routemaster Red Bus with a difference? That it was a great way to spend a few hours, even for those local to London who wouldn’t normally do something like this!
B Bakery Afternoon Tea London Bus Tour With Buyagift
Buyagift have teamed up with B Bakery to offer you the chance to experience an afternoon tea with a twist. Onboard a Routemaster bus you can take in the sights and sounds of London as the bus takes you on a tour whilst you indulge in an afternoon tea on your trip.
The trip takes you on a tour of the heart of the city including Big Ben and Nelson’s column and experiencing the city’s culture at Notting Hill, South Kensington and Trafalgar Square! The tour is around 2 hours and buses leave prompt so you need to make sure you arrive in plenty of time!
My Afternoon Tea Experience With B Bakery And Buyagift
This tour was for sure an experience. I have done the London Bus sightseeing tour before and it was lovely but OMG this tour takes you to a completely different level as you are having an afternoon tea while you are going around London in style.
They have converted the bus into a cute cafe with seats and tables. This means you can sit with other 3 people there so a total of 4 per table and there were 4 tables on the first floor. We were on the first floor of the bus. I didn’t go upstairs but I think they probably had more tables there.
It is all very cute and really nicely decorated. The theme is very English. You can choose between tea or coffee and they have a selection of small finger sandwiches and cakes such as sweet cupcakes, pastries and cookies. They also have gluten-free and vegetarian options and if you have any allergies they will help with this too.
The presentation of all the food and drinks was so pretty, they really made sure to carry through the theme. We also got some bubbles which were really nice too. When you order your tea or coffee, they put it on a branded cup which you can take home with you as a souvenir.
Why You Should Book this Afternoon Tea Bus Tour!
If you’re purely wanting a fun afternoon tea this is for you. If you’re looking more for a tour of London I would go with a different tour, as amazing as this one was, it is not easy to see all the views whilst enjoying the tea and cakes. So I will say that if you have already done a London sightseeing then this is perfect for you will enjoy more the afternoon tea.
Because we were on the first floor the view was limited so I perhaps recommend choosing to go upstairs to have a better view of the city. I have to admit, it is a very novel way to see the sights, especially with music and commentary in the background.
I thought it was so much fun and really enjoyed a new take on a classic British tradition! You can find the Afternoon Tea Smartbox along with many other gift options on the Buyagift website now.
What do you think? Would you buy this for yourself or as a gift?
*Disclosure: I was invited to experience the B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love you all ❤️

Yes I would definitely do this for myself but I’m not sure what my husband would think so I would have to go with my sisters I think or friends! The next time I am in London maybe I will have to leave him behind! #KCACOLS
I love afternoon tea but I’ve never had it on a bus before. This looks like it would be great fun! #kcacols
Um… would it be frowned upon to buy this as a gift to myself?! What more could you want on a trip to see the Queen, than a good old British afternoon tea on board a double decker! Fabulous idea, sightseeing with a caffeine kick… you need one of those to get you through a busy day in London! #KCACOLS
I think I may have been on the very bus – or one of them – but for a different event. Such fun! #KCACOLS
Looks wonderful, what a lovely treat. The cakes looked delicious. What a lovely present to give someone even better to receive it as a present.
