BABY Born Highchair Review

amomentwithfranca · 25 April 2017 · 3 Comments

One of the things that Bella loves most is playing with her dolls. She has a really nice collection of dolls but the thing that makes playing with dolls a lot fun is having accessories to play with. Bella is always asking for things for her dolls like clothes, a bed, a pushchair, a bath, etc. Her latest request was for a highchair. She had been asking for one for while. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get her one as I was worried it was going to be another bulky item filling up our living room. However, when we were asked to review any accessories we wanted from the new BABY Born collection I knew I couldn’t refuse otherwise I’d have a very disappointed daughter looking at me with a sad face for not taking up the opportunity, LOL!

We received a list of accessories we to potentially review and the highchair was in the list, so of course, we chose it straightaway. OMG, I’ve never had such a happy daughter at home! She was so excited that she was asking me about the highchair almost every day, LOL!

When we finally received it she was desperate to open the box! It was a fair sized box, which made her even more excited, bless her! BABY born is the number two doll brand in the UK. BABY born dolls encourage both nurturing and fantasy role play with a range of dolls and accessories proved to help develop social skills and values.

The play themes grow along with a child so no limits are placed on imagination. They have a lot of exciting new additions and themes for Spring 2017, including the brand new Play & Fun theme and new Bathtime products.

BABY born Highchair (RRP £33.99)

The BABY born modern highchair comes with a tray and foot rest perfect for your BABY born or any other doll. The seat is padded and has a beautiful new character themed pattern print.

Bella opened the box and removed the contents. Following the instructions she was able to build it on her own. Although I was supervising she didn’t need much help. So if your child is 6 years old they should be able to build it themselves. Bella said that it was easy to put together and only took her a few minutes to have the highchair ready for play.

Once it was ready she went to fetch her dolls and some baby food toys to being play. She actually brought her Baby Annabel to feed and it fitted very well considering it is much bigger than the size of the BABY born dolls.

The height of the chair is around 63cm which is perfect for kids aged 3 and over. Bella was a little bit disappointed with the height as she thought it was going to be much bigger. Despite this, she was happy to play and brought a little stool to sit down so she was comfortable whilst feeding her baby.

She played for a long time as she loves playing with her dolls. When her sister arrived and saw the highchair, she wanted to play with it too. Sienna won’t be 3 until August but she was perfectly comfortable playing with it. I would say even better than Bella. I think because Bella is taller she found it a bit awkward to find a comfortable position. As I said before, bringing the stool did really help with this though.

The highchair is very light and it is not that bulky either so it is okay to have in the living room which was a relief! This is the latest design and it is made of sturdy plastic. It is also very easy to clean.

You can buy this highchair at Toys R Us, or at any Toy store like Amazon. Please see the details below:

OUR THOUGHTS

Bella is very happy with this highchair. It is very strong as it has survived everything Sienna has done with it, LOL! They have even pretended that Sienna is the baby with her sitting in it! Of course, when I found out that they were playing like that I had to explain to them that even though it is very sturdy it won’t be possible for it to take Sienna’s weight, LOL!

Overall, we are all very happy with this product. It is a great present for a child from 3 years old!

Do your kids like to play with lots of doll’s accessories? Do you have a highchair for your children’s dolls at home? Do you have any BABY born products at home? What do you think of this highchair?

Yes I can just imagine how delighted Bella was to open such a lovely high chair.
Bella always loves to play with the dolls I keep at Polesworth for her, they mean a lot to her.
Anything to do with dolls is so good for Bella, especially a lovely chair like that.
