Blume Baby Pop – How Many Blume Babies Will You Pop?

amomentwithfranca · 18 April 2020 · 11 Comments

We are getting into the world of Blume Dolls quite late but since discovering it we are loving them so much! We received a Series 2 set as well as a set of their new Blume Baby Pop to review. I am doing a separate blog post for the Blume Dolls. This post is all about the Blume Baby Pop.

Blume Baby Pop - How Many Blume Babies Will You Pop?

Ad Gifted: We received the Blume Baby Pop for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own. It contains an affiliate link.

Blume Baby Pop

Blume Baby Pop are super cute babies that grown in sprouts. They come inside a flower planter that contains 5 sprouts.  There are over 50 babies to collect and each planter contains 25 surprises, 1 sticker sheet and 1 collector map. We also got a  bingo card.

You have 3 babies that are guaranteed in each set but you can get up to 5! How cool is that? You need to pull out the sprout from its flowerpot to create the ‘POP’ sound.  You then twist the top counter clockwise to open and reveal the baby or a cute accessory. We were not that lucky as we only got 3 babies.

You can collect 3 different ranges of collectible babies. There are 30 Adorable babies, 15 Rare babies and 5 Super Rare babies. We got 2 Adorable babies and 1 Rare baby. They were so cute.

Baby Moods & Accessories

Each Blume Baby Pop comes wrapped in a removable swaddle, with a unique hairstyle and a nappy. There are also six baby moods: Curious, Dreamy, Crying, Winky, Happy and Poopy.

Each of our babies had a different mood. So we got a dreamy baby, a happy baby and a poopy baby. They are super cute.

We also got 2 sets of accessories under 2 of the sprouts. So a total of 6 accessories from these 2 sprouts. You can find 60+ accessories such as rattles, bottles, combs, lollipops and balloon animals.

Secret Nursery & Baby Shower Gifts

The flowerpot opens to reveal a secret nursery. You only need to pull the pink bottom down to reveal the hidden nursery. You will find out which theme your nursery has been decorated.

There are 5 themes to collect: Zoo, Woodland, Sea, Llama and Unicorn. We got the Unicorn theme and it is really pretty! The girls loved it!

The girls looked around the nursery and they found more hidden surprises. They found a baby shower gift for their babies inside a box. It was a lovely stroller in blue and pink. There are other gifts to collect like a car seat, jumper seat, swings and high chair. They will need assembly before play.

As I mentioned above, we also got stickers to decorate the nursery. Bella loved this so she put them all over the nursery. It looked very cool.

Under the bed and the bath, there were more surprises. The girls found 3 snuggle buddies. You can collect 10 and they come in 7 different colours. We got a lion, a rabbit and a hedgehog.

As well as the snuggle buddies, the girls also found a cozy costume. There are 12 cozy costumes available to collect. We got a bee costume. Our babies looked so cute in it. The girls would love to get the tiger, the sheep, the unicorn and the flower cozy costume.

Gender Reveal

Another cool feature is that these cute babies come with a colour-changing nappy and you can reveal the baby’s gender when they are submerged in water.

To reveal the gender of the babies, the girls removed the swaddle from the babies and dipped their nappy in cold water (we put ice on it), then they waited for the magic to happen! Blue nappies are for boys and pink nappies are for girls!

We loved this reveal so much! it was so much fun. We got 2 baby boys and 1 baby girl. This was so cool that now the girls want to throw a gender reveal party with the Blume magic colour-changing nappies with their friends.

Swimming Pool

One of the coolest features of this set is the swimming pool. Yes, you are reading well. This set comes with a swimming pool! Hurrah!

The girls flipped the lid upside down which also transforms into a swimming pool with a slide. The slide is hidden inside the flowerpot. It will need to be assembled first. The slide needs to be attached to the side of the pool.

In the swimming pool, you can discover if your baby is wearing a blue or pink nappy. It is also great for having a splash now and then. The girls loved playing with the swimming pool.

Our Thoughts

I really like this set. The girls, of course, love it. It is so easy to pop. And it can be popped any time so the fun never ends. The girls really enjoyed discovering all of the surprises inside. I am so impressed at the amount of surprises that come with this set.

The water play is so much fun. I would say it is one of my girls’s favourite features. They really love to play with water. It is a great idea. This set provides hours of fun.

I also thought that it is important to mention that every part of this set can be reused so the girls can keep playing over and over again. This is fantastic. Priced at £14.99 this definitely makes it good value for money. Blume Baby Pops are suitable for ages 3+ and are available from Argos, Smyths, The Entertainer, Amazon and all good retailers.

You can also do gardening with the flowerpots. This is another activity that your kids can do with this set.

What do you think of the Blume Baby Pop? Do you think your kids would love it too?

Love you all ❤️
