Cotton Traders Spring Haul Review 2026: Comfortable Layers for Everyday Style

Spring in London always feels a little unpredictable. One minute it’s sunny and warm, and the next you’re reaching for an extra layer because the temperature has suddenly dropped again. That’s why I always find myself looking for comfortable pieces that are easy to layer, practical for everyday life, but still stylish enough to wear out and about.

Cotton Traders Spring 2026 Haul Review

In this Cotton Traders Spring haul review, I’m sharing three pieces that have quickly become staples in my wardrobe this season. I chose items that I knew I would genuinely wear on repeat, whether that’s for family outings in London, walking Ozzy, running errands or going out for a casual dinner.

Cotton Traders Spring Haul Review 2026: Comfortable Layers for Everyday Style

I’ve worked with Cotton Traders before and already own a few of their pieces, so I was excited to try more from their spring collection, especially their women’s fleece range, which is perfect for transitional weather.

Why I Love Spring Layering Pieces

Living in the UK means you can never fully trust the weather forecast, especially during spring. Cooler mornings, sunny afternoons, and breezy evenings mean layering is essential, and I love having pieces in my wardrobe that can easily work throughout the day without needing a complete change of outfit.

As a busy mum, comfort is always important to me, but I also want outfits that still look put together. I’m always drawn to easy-to-style pieces that work for everyday life, whether I’m heading into Central London with the family, doing the school run, going for a dog walk or meeting friends for lunch.

If you’ve read my previous Cotton Traders reviews on the blog, you’ll know I always mention how wearable and comfortable their clothing is, and this Cotton Traders Spring haul was no different.

Recycled Microfleece Jacket

Recycled Microfleece Jacket Review

One of my favourite pieces from this haul is the Recycled Microfleece Jacket in navy.

The first thing I noticed when I tried it on was how soft and lightweight it feels. It gives you warmth without feeling bulky, which makes it ideal for spring layering. The navy colour is also perfect for this season because it pairs so easily with jeans, leggings or casual outfits.

I also love that it’s made from recycled polyester, which makes it feel like a more conscious wardrobe choice too. The fit is really flattering thanks to the raglan sleeves, and the zip-through style makes it easy to wear open or closed depending on the weather.

The practical details also make a difference. The pockets are ideal for everyday use, especially when walking the dog or heading out quickly, and the anti-pill fabric means it should continue to look good, wear after wear.

This has easily become my favourite piece from this Cotton Traders Spring haul because it’s one of those jackets you can throw on with almost anything and instantly feel comfortable.

I’ve mainly been styling it with the wide-leg jeans from this haul for relaxed everyday outfits, and it has already become my go-to layer for morning dog walks and casual days out.

Wide Leg Jeans Review – Perfect for Petite Women

Another standout piece for me was the Wide Leg Jeans in the lightwash colour.

Finding jeans that fit properly when you’re petite can honestly be such a struggle. I’m 5’3”, and so many jeans end up being far too long unless I get them altered. That’s why I loved that these jeans came with different length options. I chose the 29” length, and they fit perfectly without needing any adjustments.

The wide-leg style feels modern and flattering while still being really wearable for everyday life. The denim has a slight stretch, which makes it very comfortable to wear all day, and it holds its shape beautifully, too.

I also really like the lightwash colour because it works so well for spring and summer outfits. They can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

These jeans are definitely the kind of piece I know I’ll continue to wear throughout the season because they’re comfortable, versatile, and easy to style.

Sherpa Trim Cardigan Review

The third item I chose was the Sherpa Trim Cardigan in washed charcoal, and it’s another piece that feels perfect for unpredictable spring weather.

What I love most about this cardigan is the supersoft Sherpa trim around the neck. It adds extra warmth and feels incredibly cosy without making the cardigan feel heavy.

This is exactly the kind of layer I reach for during those in-between weather days when it’s too warm for a coat but still chilly enough to need something comfortable over the top.

The washed charcoal colour is very versatile, and the cardigan works beautifully with jeans, leggings or casual everyday outfits. I also like the practical side pockets and the zip-through style, which makes it feel both cosy and easy to wear.

I’ve already worn this several times for casual family days out and evening walks, and I love how comfortable it feels while still looking stylish and put together.

Final Thoughts on My Cotton Traders Spring Haul

Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with every piece from this Cotton Traders Spring haul. All three items are incredibly comfortable, practical and easy to style, which is exactly what I look for in my everyday wardrobe.

The Recycled Microfleece Jacket has become my favourite lightweight layer for spring, the wide-leg jeans are one of the best petite-friendly fits I’ve tried recently, and the Sherpa Trim Cardigan is perfect for cosy transitional dressing.

What I love most is that these pieces work so well for real everyday life. If you’re looking for comfortable spring layering pieces that still feel stylish and flattering, I would definitely recommend checking out Cotton Traders’ latest women’s collection.
