Dreams Sleep Match Technology – Why You should Try It Too

How often do you change your mattress? It has been a while since Nick and I looked at changing our mattress. Choosing a new mattress is a big job. How do you know for sure you are buying the right mattress for your needs? This is especially important if you share the bed with someone too. When we were invited to try out the new Sleep Match Technology in our local Dreams store it was definitely something we were looking forward to trying out.

Visiting Our Local Dreams Store

We were given an appointment to go to the Dreams Staples Corner store. It is very close to us so it was very convenient. Only Nick and I went to choose our mattress as we wanted some calm to make an important decision that will hopefully change the way we sleep for better. As I mentioned earlier, we haven’t changed our mattress for a long time and we were thinking of doing it for a few months back, so this couldn’t be better timing for us.

We left the girls with my niece and drove to the store. When we arrived, Tyron, the salesperson in charge of helping us with the selection of our new mattress, was there waiting for us. We had an early appointment so it was perfect so we had the store almost for us which is ideal when you need peace and quiet. Tyron introduced himself and asked us a few questions about what we wanted before he took us to their Sleep Match Technology machine.

I Haven’t Seen This Type Of Machine Before So I Was Super Excited To Try It Out

The sleep match technology machine is awesome. We really enjoyed the experience. It takes about 3 minutes to run. Nick and I jumped into the bed in the sides we normally sleep and then waited to be instructed as to what to do next.

This machine is so clever. It takes into account lots of details while you are laying down on the mattress to match you to your perfect mattress within a matter of minutes. It considers the weight of each person and if you should have a firmer mattress than your partner, etc. Anything you and your partner will need in order to share the best mattress together. They also do it for one person but I loved the idea of getting a mattress that will help Nick and me to share a mattress that will make us both happy.

After 3 minutes we got our results. So the machine suggested 8 different mattresses to try out. So Tyron showed us the mattresses suggested so we could try out them all out and see what suited us both. We started from the mattress that matched the most to our requirements and then we went the down the list.

Choosing Our Mattress Thanks To Sleep Match

We tried most of them and disregarded the ones we didn’t feel comfortable on. The funny thing is that we picked the first on the list which was the Flaxby: Natures Finest 4500 Medium. We also decided to get a bed base and after choosing our desired mattress we went around and pick our favourite bed. We were hoping to get a design that offered us more storage space. Receiving Our New Mattress

A few days later, I received a call from Dreams to let me know the date of the delivery. We chose a Super King size mattress because we already had one so this meant that the process of making it was going to be a little bit longer but we were so excited about our new bed and mattress that we patiently waited.

On 17th April, we received our delivery with the new bed base and mattress. Two guys came in a Dreams van and both brought the mattress and bed base to my room. It was a big delivery and the mattress was big and heavy so I was worried they would have any problems to put it in my bedroom but these guys were fantastic and did a flawless delivery.

I was alone so they were very kind to put everything on one side of my bedroom and explained to me how the bed needed to be assembled. They also told me that the mattress should be aired for 2 to 3 hours before we can put on the bed lining. They couldn’t put the mattress in place because we had to assemble the bed first which I had to wait for Nick to do after he was back from work.

So, when Nick came back from work, the first thing he did was assemble the bed base. We were both so desperate to sleep on our new bed and mattress that he didn’t want to waste time! I have to be honest and say it wasn’t easy to put the mattress on the bed base because the mattress is very heavy so it took us some time to finally get it in place. We then left the mattress to air for a few hours as mentioned by the Dreams delivery guys.

Has Sleep Match Technology Helped Us To Get A Better Nights Sleep?

We did manage to sleep that night on our new bed and mattress and I am not exaggerating but it was one of the best nights of sleep I have ever had! I slept like a baby! Nick also said the same too! The mattress is very high which actually is much better than what we had before but I think that makes it look even bigger than my previous mattress despite being the same size.

The mattress feels amazing. It is just perfect for us! Our sleep has definitely improved since we got our new mattress and we cannot wait to keep having it that way for a long time. We absolutely love our new bed and mattress.
