Gassy The Cow Game Review

amomentwithfranca · 4 December 2017 · 26 Comments

Gassy The Cow from Drumond Park is a fun table-top game we recently received to review. My girls love playing games, especially those which involve a lot of interaction like this one. The idea behind this games revolves around Whether Gassy The Cow Will Mooo or Pooo!!!! The name alone makes you laugh already, LOL!

Gassy The Cow Game Review

Kids love these kind of games. Anything related to passing wind, or going to the toilet, gives kids a bit of a giggle! This game will definitely bring a smiles plenty of laughter to you and your little ones when they are playing.

AIM OF THE GAME

WILL SHE MOOO OR WILL SHE POOO?

The aim is to avoid Gassy’s poo and dodge the golden brown mega poo to keep your set of plastic welly boots the cleanest. Otherwise, she will poo and a splat will come out, as either a wee (yellow splat – this ‘washes’ any existing poo splats off your boots), poo (brown splat) or mega poo (golden brown). If it’s the latter, this means you’re OUT.

CONTENT

The box contains the following items:

  • 1 x Gassy the Cow
  • 4x pairs of Welly Boots (Green, Red, Blue and Purple)
  • 1x Spinner
  • 16x splats (6x yellow wees, 6x brown poos and 1x golden brown mega poo)
  • 1x Instruction Sheet

SETTING UP THE GAME

It is very easy to set up this game. The cow will need 2x AAA batteries which are not included so please bear this in mind when you get this game to avoid disappointed faces when opening the box to realise that they cannot play straight away.

PLAYING

After inserting the batteries, the cow was ready and we were able to start our first round. We all got a pair of boots of the colour we preferred, so Bella chose green, Sienna chose red, daddy chose blue and I chose purple.

Each of us took turns using the spinner and the person whose welly boots matched the colour that the spinner’s pointer rested on goes first. The player has to ‘walk’ their boots up to Gassy’s bottom and wait whilst the first player lifts her tail.

If she moos you’ve been lucky, as it’s just ‘wind’ and no poo will present itself. This means that you are safe, this time around!

There is a good chance that Gassy will ‘poo’ when her tail is lifted, and a Splat will come out! It could be a POO (brown Splat) which you need to clip to the bottom of your boots. You are safe for now.

Or it could be a ‘wee’ (yellow Splat) which is a good thing because it means that it ‘washes’ any poo splats off your boots. Yey! However, if it’s a splat of MEGA POO (golden brown) which is really, really gross, LOL, it means that you are OUT of the game!

The winner of this game is the last player standing which will be the player with the cleanest boots. Hurrah!

PRICE &  WHERE TO BUY

Gassy The Cow has an RRP of £24.99 and it is perfect for kids 4 years old and over. You can buy this game at all good toy retailers such as Argos, Smyths, Toys R Us or AMAZON.

OUR THOUGHTS

Gassy The Cow is said to be one of the most wanted table games this Christmas and we agree! It’s a fun game. My girls loved lifting the cow’s tail and waiting to discover what she will do next with all her fun noises. I guess anything related to the topic of pee’s and poo’s is fascinating for kids, LOL!

This game is very easy to play with clear instructions. The only thing I would say is that sometimes it took a little bit too long to actually get some splats, or maybe my girls  were just so eager to see the cow do one, LOL! Overall though, it was fun and we had a great time playing together as a family during a rainy Sunday afternoon! 😉

Have you played Drumond Parks games before? What do you think of Gassy The Cow game? Will this be an option for your Christmas Gift list perhaps?

*Disclosure: I received a Gassy The Cow game for the purpose of this review. However, all the thoughts and opinions are my own. I had also the opportunity to give one Gassy The Cow game to one of my readers. Contain an affiliate link.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️
