Hola chicos, lately I have been thinking a lot about getting laser hair removal, which has led me to do some research about the subject to see if this could be a good solution for me instead of using an epilator. I feel that I spend so much time using the epilator that it might be time to consider an alternative. I found some great information which I thought would be nice to share with you, so it might be helpful if you have also thought about doing this.
Getting Laser hair removal is a fairly common process these days. It can be quite effective, and it’s a very low-risk procedure. However, it is important to know what it entails before you have it done.
Getting Laser Hair Removal – Ready To Undergo Treatment
Many Lasers Target Darker Hair on Lighter Skin
Before you schedule your first laser hair removal procedure, you should know that many lasers are not designed to treat dark skin. A lot of them work by targeting darker areas and zapping them, which means that those darker areas need to be hairs. The dark hairs against light skin stand out well to the laser machines.
Of course, there are many different types of hair removal lasers on the market. So, you don’t have to completely avoid lasers if your skin is dark. Some of them, such as YAG lasers, can be used on darker skin. Diode, Ruby, and Alexandrite lasers also exist, and they all have different capabilities. Some are also much stronger than others. That’s why only an expert can really review your options thoroughly and help you pick the best treatment.
Other Things That May Influence Your Chances of Success
It’s not just how light your skin is compared to your unwanted hair that could influence your chances of success. Certain skin procedures should also be avoided if you have acne or other skin problems. If your skin is too oily or too dry, it could also make you a bad candidate for certain procedures. That’s why it’s so important to talk to your dermatologist or a trained clinician before you actually make your first laser hair removal appointment.
Don’t Have the Treatment Done Without Investigating the Clinic
Another problem is that not all clinics that provide laser treatments are the same. Some of them may have better reputations than others. So, even if you know what type of laser you need to be treated by, you shouldn’t just settle for going to the first clinic you find that offers that service. Instead, take the time to ask them questions and look into their background. Make sure that they are a reputable, trustworthy clinic.
Remember that you will need to feel completely comfortable with your chosen clinic because you probably won’t be going in for just one laser treatment. It takes a series of initial treatments to get the best results at first, and the hair will eventually grow back, requiring future treatments. That means that you will be spending a fair amount of time at the clinic, and you will forge a relationship with your clinicians.
So, What is The Advantage of Getting Laser Hair Removal?
If you will still need multiple treatments, you are probably wondering how getting laser hair removal is any better than shaving, epilating or waxing the hair away by yourself at home. The answer is that the hair should take a lot longer to grow back between laser treatments than it would after shaving. So, you can still save a lot of time by visiting your local laser hair removal clinic.
I’m really considering trying this method as it will be perfect to not have to use my epilator every week. It sounds such a great idea!!
What do you think about getting laser hair removal? Have you done it? If so, are you happy with the results? If not, will you try it? Leave a comment as I would love to read what your thoughts are about it.

The essential standard behind laser hair expulsion is particular photothermolysis (SPTL), the coordinating of a particular wavelength of light and heartbeat term to get ideal impact on a focused on tissue with negligible impact on encompassing tissue. Lasers can bring about restricted harm by specifically warming dull target matter, melanin, in the range that causes hair development, the follicle, while not warming whatever is left of the skin. Light is consumed by dull items, so laser vitality can be consumed by dim material in the skin, however with significantly more speed and force. This dull target matter, or chromophore, can be actually happening or falsely presented.

I love threading for now. The greatest part is that it doesn’t pull on your skin the way waxing does. I think if you keep waxing your eye brows over a long period of time, you start getting sagging skin! As far as epilating, I love it for my under arms and legs. It’s fast and I can do it myself at home and save money. Yes, it hurts but you get pretty used to it after 3-4 times. Thanks for sharing!

Your description of getting tired using the epilator and wanting a different option is well understood by many. Also, you are definitely correct about the laser treatment options working for darker skin these days and the fact that you will save time with the laser option.

Thank you for sharing this informative post. I personally feel Laser hair removal still has a long way to go to make it the first choice for hair removal. Long lasting results is the best part but is still expensive enough to replace other popular methods. Also the results varies from person so one should definitely do a good study before considering them.
