My girls really like Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. They have several Ariel toys. I guess the idea of her being a mermaid makes it even more magical for them. As part of Hasbro’s Toy Tribe, we have been sent a really lovely toy. It is the Disney Princess Swimming Adventures Ariel which is ideal for bath time, to play in the pool or at any place with water.
The Disney Princess Swimming Adventure Ariel swims on her own when placed in water. The movement of the doll’s tail and the fin is inspired by the magical movie moments of Ariel swiftly and fearlessly exploring the sea.
When we took her out of the packaging we saw that the tail was not in yet, so we had to assemble that which took us just a couple of minutes.
Sienna was desperate to try it at bath time but we realised we didn’t have batteries. It requires 2 x AAA batteries which are not included, so please bear this in mind. Because of this issue my girls couldn’t play with it straight away.
We got batteries the next day but we were going away for the weekend so we brought her with us as we knew the place we were going to had an indoor swimming pool so that would be the best place to test the doll.
This doll is very smart because it has two small sensors at the top of her tail so as soon as the water touches these she will start swimming. How cool is that?
We put it in the pool and we let her do her thing and it was great! My girls had a great time playing with the doll whilst we were in the pool.
You can see a short video I published on Twitter below! She is so adorable!

OUR THOUGHTS
My girls really liked it. They have had so much fun with it. It is great to take her along to the swimming pool too but of course, it is very much ideal for bath time. The only thing I would say is that it would have been better if they would have included some accessories to go along with the doll. Apart from that, we really like the Disney Princess Swimming Adventures Ariel.
*Disclosure: we were sent a Disney Princess Swimming Adventures Ariel as part of the Hasbro Toy Tribe and for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love you all ❤️

Really like it. Really good for encouraging the girls to swim. Bella will enjoy swimming along with her. Then Sienna will want to copy. She is lovely, great present for girls.

This looks great and sounds reasonable value for money but like you say, no batteries AND no accessories takes the polish off a bit! Our 8yo is almost past the Disney princess stage but would’ve loved this before. Thanks for hosting #kcacols
