I received another fab invitation from Boots Mini Club for a sneak a peek of the new FEARNE by Fearne Cotton kids clothing range. For those not familiar with Fearne, she is a British television and radio presenter, best known for presenting a number of popular television programmes such as Top of the Pops and the Red Nose Day telethons. She is super cool and I was really excited to meet her in person.
The room where the event was held was decorated with Fearne’s new collection and she was going to be talking about the process of creating this new line. She is now a mother of 2 so she tried to bring all her knowledge of being a mum into this collection as she was looking for clothes that would be practical but at the same time cool and fun for kids.
I loved how they transformed the room. There were lots of yellow balloons, photos of the collection, framed positive slogans and also there was an area for kids to do some colouring.
There was also some food and drinks to keep us refreshed. It was all super cute! The drinks were in bottles made up specifically for this event with Fearne’s signature! It was such a nice touch!
The collection has 31 pieces and is based on items that Fearne herself loves, such as faux fur coats, bombers and low slung trousers. With items for kids aged 9 months, to six years and from just £7, the collection shows Fearne’s passion for fashion. She has worked closely with the team to create garments that are easy to put on and off, easy to wash and also, very importantly, clothes that will last.
We had the opportunity to browse all of the cute pieces that they have created. You can tell straight away that Fearne is part of this collection. You can see her personal touch through the designs. I really like the whole theme. There were a couple of dresses that I really loved. There was a super cute dress with a print and colour I loved. I could already picture Sienna wearing it!
This is the first time Boots Mini Club has collaborated with a celebrity. The Mini Club brand was looking for someone that will create clothes that allow kids to enjoy being kids: to have fun, to be comfy and to look gorgeous. I think they found the perfect person for the job!
We all sat down to listen to Fearne. She explained how this collection came about. She was so passionate about this range and you could tell she put all her input on it.
Fearne said that she wanted to keep the range really simple. For her, kids’ clothes are all about fun, comfort and just allowing them to express what they are about and how they feel. Fabrics that feel nice on their skin, loose and light with easy-to-wear harem pants for girls, really cool soft joggers for boys and cosy sweaters. She said that if she had to choose five words to describe the collection they would be, Fun, Cool, Happy, Comfy and Awesome!
One of the things that caught my attention was how affordable this range is. The prices range from £7 to £30 and is for kids from 9 months to 6 years old. She wanted to create a cool range that she would want to wear and that was super comfy from head to toe.
The range is gorgeous and includes positive slogan tees and cool designs. I can’t wait to get some pieces for my little Sienna to try! I also got the chance to interview Fearne and I have to say that she is so nice and yes very cool too!
A CHAT WITH FEARNE
I was so happy to be able to have a 1 to 1 chat with Fearne. See below what she said:
- How do you choose clothes for your kids?
She said that she likes to get clothes that are comfortable but at the same time, are fashionable. - Do you plan to explore this creative/artistic side more in future, perhaps launching your own clothing line?
She said that at the moment she is not thinking about this. She feels she has achieved a lot already being able to have this partnership with Boots. But perhaps in the future. - What music do your kids like or what do they listen to in the car?
She said that her oldest is really into music. Perhaps he has inherited the talent from his father. He really enjoys listening to heavy rock music and knows pretty well what he likes. Her little one loves the main Trolls’ song by Justin Timberlake. - Can you tell me more about your upcoming book, ‘Yoga Babies’?
She said that this is a book that she has been working on for at least a year. It is a picture book for kids which teaches different yoga poses. It features a group of pre-schoolers who love yoga. They practise yoga at home, in the garden and before bedtime. Each position has a name and it is designed to help kids to familiarised with yoga. - Who is the most interesting person that you have interviewed?
She said that the interview she enjoyed the most and felt was the best moment of her career, was being able to interview Princes William and Harry. It was such an honour for her and she loved every minute. - Which person/celebrity would you like to interview?
She said that she would love to interview Oprah Winfrey. She also mentioned that interviewing her would be a dream come true but obviously it would be very hard as she is the queen of the interviews. - Which place would you like to visit?
She said that she has spent a fair amount of time in the US when she was younger. Now due to having kids, this has slowed down but she loves New York.
After this, we discussed Peru as she asked me where I was from and she then said that she has visited Peru and she loves it. She went to Lima and Cuzco and she did the Inca Trail! I thought that was fantastic! She also told me that she really enjoyed Pisco Sour! How nice is that!
I had a great time interviewing her. She is so down to earth and pretty cool. It felt like I was having a chat with a friend! I could have stayed there with her the whole day talking about life! Love her!
GOODIE BAG
After my lovely chat with Fearne, I received a goodie bag with a cute top that has an adorable star print! It was very kind of them!
The FEARNE collection is now in stores and online, so if you would like to have a look you can check it out HERE.
What do think of the Fearne collection? Do you like it? Which piece do you like the most? Will you check it out?
*Disclosure: I was invited to this event for the purpose of this blog post. However, all the thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love you all ❤️

Love this! And now I’ve got a little girly of my own too I can totally imagine her wearing some of these when she is a bit older of course!….Although she is a big baby so perhaps she would fit into the 9month clothes a bit sooner…#kcacols
