Jacadi at Westfield London

amomentwithfranca · 11 November 2015 · 44 Comments

My girls and I were invited to the launch of Jacadi’s new store at Westfield London. This is their third store opening in the UK. I was super excited about this opening as I have always loved Jacadi. They have one of the most cute and beautiful clothing ranges for babies and kids. When my eldest sister used to live in Washington DC, she used to always buy clothes there for my niece. We were always really impressed with their quality.

Jacadi Collage 1

For those who don’t know or haven’t heard of Jacadi before, it was founded in 1976 and is a leading children’s wear brand offering clothing, accessories, footwear and home products. With 270 stores worldwide, three based in central London, the UK e-shop is due to launch this November. They are a quintessentially French brand, who have a passion for quality and craftsmanship.

The AW15 collections take inspiration from sophisticated French clothing featuring Peter Pan collars, Breton stripes, cashmere knits and woollen accessories for both boys and girls from toddlers and children up to the age of 12.

Their new collection for little girls is just so adorable!! They have the classic old style that I adore!! Of course because I have 2 girls I was more interested in that section. Everything that they have is really cute. The boys collection is also very nice but I didn’t take photos, just one. You can always go and have a look at their website.

Jacadi also offer a range of traditional styled children’s shoes, made in Europe including the Pre-Walker Collection for the 7 to 13 month-old child, the Walker Collection for the 12 to 24 month-old child and the Child Collection (sizes 24 to 39) for children ages 2 years and up. I thought of buying a pair of shoes for Bella but then I decided to get some clothes instead.

Jacadi Collage 4

They were offering a family fun day to celebrate their opening so there was a nice lady doing face painting for the kids. As I was only with Sienna (Bella was at school) we had to skip it as Sienna is too little for this. The other kids were very happy with the face painting! The idea was to give some free time to the mums while we were browsing around the store. They were also offering a 10% discount which was fantastic.

They had a really nice table with yummy sandwiches, cupcakes and drinks. All of it was really good. I tried everything! Even Sienna loved it. She had a couple of little cupcakes too! It was all super nice and the environment was fantastic!

Parents to-be can buy their must have accessories such as changing bags, bed linen and charming cuddly toys. They also have a section for their home collection. It wasn’t very big but again you can go and browse for more options on their website.

Additionally on offer is the Baby Registry service, where a Jacadi specialist will guide parents and family friends in selecting gifts from baby’s first outfits to activity toys to nursery decorations.

The baby collection is adorable with the cutest dresses, pinafores and snowsuits all in elegant French style with bow and pom-pom details. At the end I ended up staying in this section because it was just adorable! I had Sienna there so I thought, lets get something for her!

I bought dark grey corduroy trousers,  a pink blouse and a white collar, a dark grey cardigan and a pink jumper. The grey and pink where one of my favourite colours of their collection

We were also given a fantastic Goody Bag which also included an amazing voucher. I must say this was one of the nicest events I have been lucky to attend. The people who was there helping were really friendly. The girl that was helping me with the sizes was French. She was really lovely and bubbly! She even asked for my business card and said that she will go and check my blog!! So lovely!! The little bag was so cute. I love the doggy!

It was funny because when we arrived home Sienna was so happy playing with the bag. She was running around like a lunatic which was so funny to watch!

I tried the clothes on Sienna. She looks really cute in them, I just didn’t get the chance to take a photo with the cardigan but at least you can see the other pieces.

Have you heard of Jacadi before? Do you like their collection? Is there something that caught your eyes and perhaps would like to buy? What brands do you like to buy for special occasions? Please leave me a comment as I would to hear what you think.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

I haven’t heard of them before, but I will definitely be having a look next time I am in London. The girls clothing looks adorable, I love the coat in the window! I may just have found my niece a Christmas gift! Hope my sister in law is ok with Auntie Clare buying clothes 🙂 xx

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. It is so good! 😋 I vary the fruit that I put in but everything else is the same..What do you like eating for breakfast?.#overnightoats #oatsforbreakfast #easybreakfast #simplebreakfast #togobreakfast #quickbreakfast #breakfastideas #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastinspo #breakfastbowl #breakfastgoals #breakfastlover #oatmealbowl #breakfastclub #oatmealbowl
✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? What are your plans? .#sistertime #sisterlylove #sistersgoals #sisterhood #hermanas #sistersforever #sistersforlife #sisterslove #siblingslove #lovemydaughters #raisingdaughters #mydaughters #westfield #westfieldlondon #londonkids
✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
