Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all enjoying the last week of the summer holidays! We had 43 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
So we are now properly back to school after a full week of lessons. Surprisingly, my girls had a great week. I am the Parent Rep for Sienna’s class again which is keeping me busy. I never thought I would enjoy doing this role so much. I am carrying on from last year as I only joined the last term so this year I am doing it for the whole year. Fingers crossed all goes well!
I also wanted to tell you that I got some amazing news on Thursday. I found out that I am a BiBs2019 Finalist in video. This was a lovely surprise. I really didn’t expect it so when I saw my name I had to read it twice, LOL. Thank you so much for all your support. It is really nice to see people understand and like what you do. There are a lot of amazing bloggers in all the different categories. So go and have a look if you haven’t yet. This is the link to VOTE.
Each link up, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

✨THE LAST DAYS OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS✨ I can't believe my girls have been on holidays for almost 8 weeks! I was so worried I wasn't going to survive at all because I am not going to lie, it has been tough. But I did and it was fine! ❤️ — In three more days I will be able to go back to my routine. I really need it. I am so behind at the moment. I have struggled to get things done while away. — But don't get me wrong, I love these little monkeys and I really enjoyed their company and we have had a lovely summer together 😍 — I would have loved to be able to switch off completely during the holidays and enjoy properly my time with the girls but unfortunately I had to work. 🙁 — This is the downside of working for yourself but the good news is that at least I am doing something that I like 😃. I guess what I need is an assistant! 🤣🤣 — Are you ready to go back to your routine or are you sad the summer is now over? — #summer #summerholidays #backtoschool

AD| ✨A FUN VISIT TO IWM DUXFORD✨ l always run out of ideas for places to take my girls on a family day out, are you the same? We like to go out and explore new places together and we are constantly looking for exciting places to visit where the girls can explore as well as learn. We were invited to visit IWM Duxford and explore their museum thanks to @imperialwarmuseums We were excited to go and walk through the same hangars and buildings as those who served at RAF Duxford. The girls were amazed when they saw so many aircraft taking to the skies. Being so close to them and being able to go inside some of them was thrilling. I was worried that they might get a little bored, but I was surprised to see they actually enjoyed all the activities they had on display for kids. It is fun family day out and even more exciting if you love aircraft! 😊 I have put together a list of things you can do at IWM Duxford so if you are planning to visit it could be handy to make a note before you go. Check my blog post here (https://www.amomentwithfranca.com/9-things-to-do-at-iwm-duxford) or by clicking the link in my bio. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗪𝗠 𝗗𝘂𝘅𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲? ✈️ #IWMDuxford #duxford

Thank you so much for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. It is lovely to see your photos there! I am so excited that we have more than 13k photos that have used the hashtag! I am thrilled! I would love it if more of you could use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! I am featuring 1 photo from the community that has caught my eye since the last linkup. This time I’m featuring MADELINE from This Glorious Life. See her photo below:

I went to the supermarket by myself yesterday, after taking the children with me every week throughout the summer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I thought I would love it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I thought it would be a relief to browse the aisles by myself, taking time to focus on what we needed rather than nagging the kids to just walk nicely by the trolley.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, honestly, I just felt kind of lonely.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This summer was a real struggle at times. I found it really hard trying to juggle everything. But my god I know how lucky I am that I got to spend all that time with my children. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am acutely aware at the moment of how lucky I am, to have all these things I take for granted at times. My husband, my children, my parents, my siblings. Hands to hold. Shoulders to cry on. Beautiful souls to laugh with.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's a funny revelation to have on a rainy morning in the middle of Aldi.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #mygrassisgreen #bethankful #mytinymoments #ourcandidlife #mumsofinstagram #motherhoodlens #motherhoodrising #ohmamamoment #joyfulmamas #littlepiecesofchildhood #ourcandidlife #watchthemgrow #littleandbrave #littlefierceones #dailyparenting #thingsiwanttoremember #littlefierceones #mytinymoments #everydaymoments #candidchildhood #motherhoodunplugged #childhoodunplugged #capturingchildhood #clickinmoms #motherlylove #momswithcameras #ukparentbloggers #kcacols #cuddlethemclose

If you are not already subscribed to be informed of new KCACOLS Linky emails, you can click the button below to subscribe:
We had 43 linkups which amazing! I am so happy to have more linkers these last 2 weeks. It really makes me happy. On Thursday we had 9 posts that needed more comments. Today we reduced this number to 7. I thought we will be able to reduce this number more. I was surprised to see that it didn’t. So we had 36 posts that haad more than 4 comments. checked the comments again this week and after all this long break we still have the exact same posts needing more comments.
Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 7 people on Thursday. Today, we managed to reduce this number to 5 people. I thought we would have this number reduced more. Hopefully we improve this for the next linkup.
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).
GUEST CO-HOSTS FROM THE PREVIOUS LINK UP
GUEST CO-HOSTS FOR THIS LINK UP
My first guest co-host this week is NICOLA from Mummy To Dex. I’m so happy to have Nicola co-hosting with me for the first time. She has been linking with us for a couple of months but she has not co-hosted the linky with me yet. I have mentioned her and featured her before because of all the lovely comments she has done. Nicole has a baby-led parenting and lifestyle blog that focuses on their journey from baby-led weaning to toddler led feeding, their travels, days out and the odd review thrown in for good measure! She is 31 years old and a first time Mum to toddler Dexter who is 20 months old. Please give her some love to her social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@mummytodex) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, Dear Husband, Please Stop Doing Things for Me linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!!
My second guest co-host this week is KELLY-ANNE from Mimi Rose And Me. I guess you all know Kelly-Anne. She has helped me co-host the linky before. I have also mentioned and featured her before. She is lovely and she supports this linky a lot which is nice. Kelly-Anne is a writer, blogger and mum to a beautiful girl called Amelia. She is married to Tony and together they have set up their home in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk. She is a self-certified tea addict, a lover of the 50s, stationary and she eats way too much Haribo. Please give her social media accounts some love (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@Mimiroseandme) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, Banana & Chocolate Oat Bars: Perfect Snack For Children linked up too. If you could please go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!

It is really nice that she has commented a lot of posts. She has been featured and mentioned before a few times. She has commented on 22 posts! Her post from last week was Llanerch Vineyard, Romantic Hotel, Amazing Wine, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can.

FEATURED POSTS – TOP 6

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, NICOLA @mummytodex and KELLY-ANNE @Mimiroseandme and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
