Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all well! We had 45 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
This last couple of weeks saw the last week of the school holidays and then getting ready for school. It was very emotional to see Sienna starting Reception. She was very excited and so far has had the best time. She keeps telling me about all her adventures at school and it makes me very happy to see how settled she is already. Bella is also very happy to be back at school. She is in Year 4 and they normally mix their classes up a little bit so she is getting used to her new class but she says she likes it even more now which is a relief.
I also took the girls to have their hair cut. It was the first time for Sienna. I cut Bella’s hair a lot and I really like it. It was a lovely experience for both. I went to a Mumsnet and Octopus Energy focus group on Monday and it was super interesting. The rest of the week I wasn’t feeling very well. I got a horrible allergy that sent me to bed. I feel much better now.
Each link up, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

*A FABULOUS TIME AT THE LONDON ZOO* - #Ad We went to the @zsllondonzoo last weekend and we had a fantastic time. We love the zoo. We are very familiar with ZSL London zoo because we live nearby, so a few years ago, when Bella was about 3 years old, we got membership cards so we used to visit the zoo very often. They have so many attractions that it is always a really fun day out for the girls. They don't get bored of visiting the same animals at all. Every time that we come back they ask to see the snakes and butterflies. They love it!They also love the tigers, lions and monkeys. It is always an amusing time for them. One of the areas that they like to visit too and we do every time we go, is the little animal farm area. So they can see all the cute goats and pigs around. They love running around after them. It was so much fun to watch. We managed to take a family photo thanks to a lady that saw us trying to do one on our own but we couldn't do it properly, so she offered to help and despite having one hand only free as the other one was busy carrying her beautiful baby, she managed to take one of the most lovely photos we have had as a family in a long time. So thank you so much to that lovely lady! I am in love with this photo. I love the colourful background and the animal theme as well. I was so excited to be able to get such a nice photo at the zoo. It really summarises our day! What do you think? Have you been to the Zoo lately? #ZooLife #londonzoo #zoo #familytime❤️

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2018 - RECEPTION & YEAR 4 Finally, the school holidays came to an end with the girls now at school since yesterday. It was an emotional day because it was the first ever day at school for little Sienna. She started Reception and she was super excited! I couldn't believe my eyes when I changed her into her school uniform in the morning. She looked so cute and little at the same time but so grown up too! I couldn't stop cuddling her. It was funny because she wasn't affected at all. She was so ready and eager to start school. I, on the other hand, was very sad inside. My heart melted when I dropped her off at her new classroom with her new classmates. He teacher is actually one of Bella's previous teachers so she is very familiar with her so I felt more relaxed knowing that. I am not an overprotective mum at all but for some reason, I felt a little bit like that yesterday. I guess the feeling will disappear once I get used to all these changes. Bella was super excited too. It is also an important year for her because she is now officially in the upper classes of Primary School. There have been some changes in her class where they have mixed them up a little bit which Bella is actually loving. I decided to treat them yesterday so after school, I took them to the hairdresser to have their hair cut. They loved the experience. They are both looking so adorable! (Swipe left to see more photos). Have your kids started school yet? If so, how was it and how do you feel about it? If not, when do they start? #backtoschool #firstdayofschool #firstdayofreception #firstdayofyear4

We had 45 link ups. I am very happy to have more linkers this week. We had about 22 posts that needed more comments when the linky closed. By Saturday we reduced this number to1 which is great as this post has 3 comments already. So we got 54 posts with 4 or more comments. Hurrah! That is great 🙂
Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 10 people on Thursday. By Saturday we reduced this number to 5!
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, SHAN @Awdures and BETH @lifeasmumblog and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
