FINAL #KCACOLS for 2016 – 18th December 2016

amomentwithfranca · 17 December 2016 · 6 Comments

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a fantastic week! We did GOOD with 106 link ups! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky in the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

PLEASE READ

We will have a -wee2k break over Christmas and the New Year so this will be the last link up of 2016! We will be back on Saturday 7th January 2017 with some changes. From 2017 it will be a fortnightly linky, so it will last 2 weeks and it will close when it reaches 140 link ups or until the second Wednesday (whichever comes first). This way the co-hosts will have more time to comment, share and tweet and it will also give you all more time to comment too. I will be able to be more thorough with the linky too as I will have a better balance between the linky, my blog and my personal life.

The rules will be the same, the only difference is the time that the linky will be open and also the co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts at the start of the second week. Please be aware of these changes during the second week. I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.

I therefore hope to see you all back on Saturday 7th January with all the new energy for the start of the new year!! I would like to wish you, the lovely #KCACOLS community, a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2017!

MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVELY PEOPLE

I can’t believe this will be the last link up of the year! This year has passed too quickly for me! I have had a super hectic week. My trip to Basel was AMAZING. I really enjoyed my time there. It was 3 intense days but it was all worth it. I made new friends, I got to visit the magical Christmas Markets, I got to eat fondue and a lot of chocolate, LOL! Ahh and the Gluhwein was fantastic too! Now it is time to start slowing down and getting everything ready for Christmas! Just one week for that! Crazy right?

Each week I love sharing a couple of photos from my week on Instagram, so here are two of my favourite ones:

INSTAGRAM COMMUNITY

Thank you so much for all the people that joined my co-hosts last week for our #UnPocoDeTodoUK link up. I’m sorry I didn’t join this time. I was going to but then I realised it was going to be too much for me with my trip. They had a good week with lots of you joining! Thank you. I’ll be hosting the linky on Monday 19th December at 9pm until midnight on Friday 23rd. It will be our last link up of the year too. The theme for next week is “FOOD“. It can be anything food related like for example. photos of your children eating, dishes from restaurants, meals you cook, food you love, eating out, anything you like. I hope to see lots of you on Monday.

Thank you so much too for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. We have 3,361 photos! I love that it is growing every day! It is lovely to see all your photos there! I would love it if more of you could also use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! As I mentioned before, I am featuring a photo from the community that has caught my eye during the week or since the last link up. This week I’m featuring Sharon’s photo from After the Playground.

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY:

LINKY TWEETS

I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post the linky post on the Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!

Tweet Me!

We had more link ups this week than the week before which is nice to see. The commenting was a little low this week. We had on Friday morning about 62 posts that needed more comments. Then after sending the Thank You email and posting in the facebook group it went down to 32, but most of these posts had about 3 comments. The ones that had less I made sure they got up to at least 3. I think a lot of people still need to approve comments for their posts.

REMINDER: I am not pushing for the 4 comments per post anymore. I will keep showing a list of posts that have fewer comments to encourage people to comment more on those but after that, I will not keep asking. It will be lovely if we can get a minimum of 2 comments per post but of course, we should be aiming for more.

PLEASE Remember to approve your comments and check your SPAM folders (this is such a HUGE problem for me as it keeps being part of why I can’t have a current list as I know for sure lots of posts have comments that have not been approved yet)

Also, please remember that I’m expecting a minimum of 5 comments per person (1 host, 3 co-hosts and the post before yours) and if you link up 2 posts I would expect 6 comments as a minimum per person (1 host, 3 co-hosts, the posts before yours and 1 more )

Please do not forget to comment on the post before yours. If you have any problems commenting on the post before yours please just send me a message and I will do my best to help. AGAIN, please do not link up and run. Finally, do not forget to add the linky badge.

THANK YOU to all of you that have joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. You can join us here. Also if you do join, please send me a direct message with the name of your blog so then I know who you are without having to figure out your blog name 🙂

NOTE: If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous with each other and spreading lots of love.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:

PLEASE START with commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then go around commenting as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

[do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Each week I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post each Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts per week.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment on as I will be linking up 2 posts every week if possible). Then comment the guest co-hosts and the monthly co-host. Then comment on the post which is linked up immediately before yours and finally any other post that you would like to comment on. That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until Wednesday at 11.59 pm.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, Tracey @frazzledmumblog, Rachel @RachelBustin and Kimberly @oddhogg and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest , Bloglovin, Google+ and YouTube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting your posts!! 🙂

✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
