#KCACOLS – 20th November 2016

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a fantastic week! We did REALLY WELL with 130 link ups! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. I got a horrible cold this week and it all started when I was at BlogFest. I knew this was going to happen after taking care of Sienna the previous day because she had a chest infection. I felt so ill the following day but since Monday I have improved although I still feel congested. My week was pretty relaxed. I only attended one event on Thursday for the launch of a new Jacadi store in Richmond. Next week I will have a pretty busy few days as I will have lots of events to attend followed by my trip to Paris early next week which I cannot wait for! I’m so excited! 🙂

Each week I love sharing a couple of photos from my week on Instagram, so here are 2 of my favourite ones:

Thank you so much for all the people that joined us last week for our #UnPocoDeTodoUK link up. We had a great week with lots of you joining! Thank you. MARIA will host the linky on Monday 21st November at 9pm until midnight on Friday 11th. The theme for next week is “FOOD“. They can be of anything food related like for example. photos of your children eating, dishes from restaurants, meals you cook, food you love, eating out, anything you like. I hope lots of you can join us!

Thank you so much too for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. We have 2,797 photos! I love that it is growing every day! It is lovely to see all your photos there! I would love it if more of you could also use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! From now on, I will be featuring a photo from the community that has caught my eye during the week or since the last link up. This week I’m featuring Ruth’s photo from Topfivemum.

This last link up has been GOOD! We had much more linkers than the last link ups but people have not been commenting as much. This has made me thinking a lot about the need to reach 4 comments per post. I’m getting very tired of having to chase people or making sure people get 4 comments as a minimum. I think if you join a linky its because you want to commit and comment as much as you can. If you don’t comment, then you won’t be contributing to the community and then the whole thing falls apart. I will keep doing my job of checking the number of comments and making sure people comment on the post before theirs but I will not worry about reaching 4 comments per post. It makes it stressful for me, for the co-hosts and my husband who helps behind the scenes too. I can’t do this on my own. I can’t swim against the waters. I’m tired, to be honest, so I hope people will still comment a lot and I also hope we actually reach 4 comments or more but I won’t be checking for that anymore. I have a life outside of this linky so I hope you understand.

Each week I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post each Saturday!
