Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all well! We had 36 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
The last couple of weeks have been intense between finishing school and starting the summer holidays while I was trying to do some work. Sienna had her graduation assembly from Reception. It was so cute to watch and at the same time, I was feeling emotional that she is growing so fast. She will start Year 1 in September. Times flies.
The girls finished school a week ago on Thursday at midday and after that, we all headed to the park for an afternoon picnic. This was lovely. I have never seen so many people from school in the park. It was so much fun. We also had a few birthday parties during the weekend and then this last week I spent time with the girls.
Regarding the blog, we attended Christmas in July and it was great. I met Maria from Suburban Mum there and we had a great time checking the stands. I brought the girls with me so they enjoyed it too. They were super excited with the new toys that are coming for Christmas. And then, on Thursday night we started a fun weekend away in France. We are at the moment in Loir and tomorrow we will be spending some time exploring Le Mans. It has been great so far because we are all together here as a family.
Each link up, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

✨SEVEN THINGS TO DO IN SYMI✨ I have finally gotten around to sharing my thoughts on what you need to explore if you visit Symi (check the link in my bio). It is such a beautiful island and if you are able to visit you definitely should. It is a short boat ride from Rhodes were we were staying for our anniversary getaway last month. - Even though the island is small there is so much to see and do. Did you know there are 6 beaches for you to enjoy the sun on? Nick and I visited one of the beaches and it was the perfect way to relax in the hot weather. It was over 30 degrees, we were so hot! - I absolutely loved exploring the island, the streets are so small and narrow, I wanted to take pictures everywhere! If you can, I would recommend spending a day or two exploring the island. This will give you more time to do fun things such as renting a motorbike to get you around and sampling the restaurants and bars. - Have you visited Symi before? If not it is definitely somewhere you should add to your travel bucket list.If you have what was your favourite part of the island? #symi #greece #greekislands

✨A ROMANTIC DINNER IN RHODES✨ I wanted to share with you some of the places Nick and I visited when we went to Rhodes in June. We had such a great week away, I know it is something we will remember for a long time. - One night we decided we wanted to go to dinner somewhere nice. A place where we could get dressed up and enjoy good food but still experience a true Greek meal and atmosphere. That place was Philosophia Beach Restaurant. It is in Pefkos situated right on the beach with direct access. A great setting for a romantic meal don’t you think! - We had the best night, the food was absolutely beautiful. To go with our meals I had some prosecco with berries and Nick had a beer. - We ended up ordering starters, main and a dessert to share which we enjoyed to a stunning backdrop of the sun setting. This was something we wanted to share with the girls too so we face called them so they got to see it too. I love how you can do this now. Even though the girls weren’t with us, they still got to experience it all with us too. - I would love to know the hidden treasures you have found when visiting Rhodes. Where would you recommend someone to visit if they have never been before? #rhodes #dinner #sunset
#KCACOLS ON INSTAGRAM
Thank you so much for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. It is lovely to see your photos there! I am so excited that we have more than 12.8k photos that have used the hashtag! I am thrilled! I would love it if more of you could use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! I am featuring 1 photo from the community that has caught my eye since the last linkup. This time I’m featuring NICOLA from Mummy to Dex. See her photo below:

This one has been so moany and whingy the past week or so and it hasn’t helped that I’ve been in a foul mood thanks to his 4/5am wake ups. Today has been a much better day though, I upped his food and he was able to sleep lots with Dexter being at childcare. Even though it’s been a difficult few days, it’s nothing this beautiful smile can’t fix within one second! He is gonna be 7 months old tomorrow...he’s moving around loads now but not quite crawling. I think all the moving tires him out more than I give it credit for and he is needing extra energy to help. Think it’ll be 3 meals a day from now on as he wolfed all three today! #felixedward #modelbaby #babymodel #unicornbaby #motherhoodunplugged #reallifemummy #smileybaby #kcacols #ourlifeinsquares #ordinarymoments #maternityleavelife #pbloggers #ukparentblogger #ukblogcreators #mummybloggers #ukmummyblogger #letthembelittle #mamaofboys #instagram_kids #instagrammum #mummyoftwo #mummyofinstagram #mumlife #mytinymoments #mynameismama #motherhoodthroughig #ohheymama #messy_motherhood #storytellingmama #momentsinmotherhood

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY
If you are not already subscribed to be informed of new KCACOLS Linky emails, you can click the button below to subscribe:
We had 36 linkups which seem lower than our standard amount of linkups. On Thursday we had 17 posts that needed more comments. I thought this number was a little bit high. And by Saturday we reduced this amount to 6. This was not too bad.
And regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 11 people on Thursday. Again, I thought this number was high too. By Saturday morning this number was reduced to 7 but one is missing a hashtag so the comment is there. This wasn’t the best results and I thought we could have done better.
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, EMMA @meandbmaketea and ALI @weirdoA and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
