#KCACOLS – 22nd August 2021

amomentwithfranca · 21 August 2021 · 1 Comment

Welcome back to #KCACOLS. We had 13 linkups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

PLEASE READ

Please remember that this linky is all about commenting hence the reward of being featured. I cannot chase people individually. That is why I send the “Thank You Email” so people can check the list and make sure if they have been mentioned so they can go back to the linky and comment.

ALSO, PLEASE remember to comment on the co-hosts and host posts. We are allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. So, please be aware of these changes during the second week. There are a lot of people that are skipping the first 4 posts which is very disappointing. These posts are part of the required comments, so please don’t skip them.

Remember that FRIDAY NIGHT is the deadline for all comments.

We are now in the UK. We had such a lovely time in Greece. We miss it so much already! We wish we can be there again!. Since we are back we have been busy with birthday celebrations. First was Sienna’s birthday. I took her to Flip Out with a couple of friends in the morning and then we spent the afternoon in the park. We then spent the weekend away celebrating my parents in law birthdays. They both have their birthdays on the same day.

This week we didn’t do much. We went to Notting Hill for cake on hump day to Hummingbird Cakes. Sienna ordered a rainbow cake. It was yummy!

Each linkup, I love sharing a photo from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here is my favourite:

KCACOLS CROWD FACEBOOK GROUP

THANK YOU to all of you that have joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. You can join us here. Also if you do join, please send me a direct message with the name of your blog so then I know who you are without having to figure out your blog name 🙂

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY

If you are not already subscribed to be informed of new KCACOLS Linky emails, you can click the button below to subscribe:

Send Me #KCACOLS New Linky Notifications

We had 13 linkups! It is sad to see that we are having fewer linkups lately but I really hope it is related to the summer holidays. Let’s hope things come back to normal in September.

On Thursday we had 4 posts that needed more comments. By Friday night (deadline for commenting) we managed to reduce this number to 1 post which is very good.

Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we didn’t have anyone who didn’t do their commenting. This is the first time that we have had that, so I am very happy!

Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.

I also wanted to say that I will need all your comments to be done by Friday as I won’t be doing any counting on Saturdays anymore. So Friday Night will be the deadline for all comments from now on.

FORTNIGHTLY LINKY

The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.

The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.

I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.

LINKY TWEETS

I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!

Tweet Me!

PLEASE REMEMBER

  • I am not pushing for the 4 comments per post anymore. I will keep showing a list of posts that have fewer comments on my Thank You email to encourage people to comment more on those but after that, I will not keep asking. It will be lovely if we can get a minimum of 2 comments per post but of course, we should be aiming for more.
  • To approve your comments and check your SPAM folders (this is such a HUGE problem for me as it keeps being part of why I can’t have a current list as I know for sure lots of posts have comments that have not been approved yet)
  • I’m expecting a minimum of 4 comments per person (1 host, 2 co-hosts and the post before yours) and if you link up 2 posts I would expect 5 comments as a minimum per person (1 host, 2 co-hosts, the posts before yours and 1 more )
  • To comment on the post before yours. If you have any problems commenting on the post before yours please just send me a message and I will do my best to help.
  • If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous with each other and spreading lots of love.
  • Do not link up and run.
  • Do not forget to add the linky badge.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:

PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is very important so I can see how many comments you are doing and then feature you in my linky post, which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

GUEST CO-HOSTS FROM THE PREVIOUS LINK UP

I would like to say THANK YOU so much to HELEN from Twins Tantrums and cold coffee and KENDRA from Growing Exceptional for helping me with the commenting this week! 🙂

GUEST CO-HOSTS FOR THIS LINKUP

My first guest co-host this week is DANA from A Mamanista Life. I am so excited to have DANA as my co-host for the second time for this new linkup. Dana has a family, lifestyle and travel blog. She is from up North and a forty-something mama to three beautiful and energetic children. In her blog, she aims to capture and write about the funny bits, the challenges and the everyday wonderful moments of her family life and friendships. Please give some love to her social media accounts which are (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her Twitter handle (@amamanistalife) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, Wellness Hacks Here’s 10 We Can All Do Right Now linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!

My second guest co-host this week is KELLY-ANNE from Mimi Rose And Me. Kelly-Anne has helped me to co-host the linky many times. Kelly-Anne is a writer, blogger and mum to a beautiful girl called Amelia. She is married to Tony and together they have set up their home in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk. She is a self-certified tea addict, a lover of the 50s, stationary and she eats way too much Haribo. Please give her social media accounts some love (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her Twitter handle (@Mimiroseandme) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, What Social Media Has Taught Me Recently linked up too. If you could please go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!

FEATURED POSTS – TOP 3

We had a tide so the first and second have commented the same amount. See below:

The first person who commented a lot was KATRINA from Chatter Fox. It is lovely to see Katrina back within the 3 commenters again. She has become a great supporter of this linky too which I love so much.  Thank you, Katrina, for all your lovely comments within the linky. She has commented on 8 posts! One of her posts from last week was Autism and School Holidays. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can.

The second person who commented a lot was SAM from This is Where it is At I am so excited to have Sam within the top 3 commenters for another week in a row. It is really nice to be able to feature her again. Thank you, Sam, for all your comments. She has commented on 8 posts! One of her posts from last week was How to keep cool at home in the summer. Please visit her post and give her more love if you can.

The third person who commented a lot was LYDIA from Pandora and Max. I have featured and mentioned Lydia several times. It is fantastic that she is also back within the 3 commenters! She is a great supporter of this linky and has always been very lovely with her commenting. She has commented on 7 posts! Thank you so much, LYDIA! One of her posts from last week was Share Four Somethings – July. Please go to her post and give her more love if you can.

For this week’s linkup, I am linking up 5 Stunning Mediterranean Spots to Add to Your Post-Coronavirus Travel List and Quick Ways To Add Personality To Your Home so I hope you like it! 😉

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!

[do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge, which is found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.

3. Any subject is welcomed but please keep it family-friendly. No graphic violence, explicit sexual content, etc. You can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on:

  • one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
  • the guest co-hosts posts.
  • the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
  • and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.

That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, DANA @amamanistalife and KELLY-ANNE @Mimiroseandme and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. It is so good! 😋 I vary the fruit that I put in but everything else is the same..What do you like eating for breakfast?.#overnightoats #oatsforbreakfast #easybreakfast #simplebreakfast #togobreakfast #quickbreakfast #breakfastideas #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastinspo #breakfastbowl #breakfastgoals #breakfastlover #oatmealbowl #breakfastclub #oatmealbowl
✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
