L’Oreal Paris ‘The Perfect Age Collection’ Review

amomentwithfranca · 23 April 2017 · 186 Comments

I have been using L’Oreal Paris face creams for more than a year now and I’m very happy with them. Previously, I only used Lancome products which are quite expensive so I wanted to find a more affordable alternative. I decided to switch to L’Oreal Paris after a recommendation from one of my sisters. Their products are excellent and best of all they are more affordable. I was using their Revitalift face cream which you apply daily but lately, I am having more wrinkles and now I’m almost 40, my skin is not the same. I have been searching for something similar but with anti-aging properties. I knew L’Oreal Paris had a good range so I had a look to see if they had something that met what I was looking for.

L'Oreal Paris 'The Perfect Age Collection' Review

I was so happy when WOW! Free Stuff contacted me and offered to send me ‘The Perfect Age Collection Gift Set’ by L’Oreal Paris. It couldn’t have been better timing for me! It was just what I needed. What a coincidence, right?

This set arrived well packed and comes in a lovely branded gold and white gift box. The two products inside the box are presented in a slide out tray. Both products are from the ‘Age perfect’ range of anti-ageing products. This gift set contains full-size products.

The products I received are as follows:

L’Oréal Age Perfect cleansing milk (200ml)

  • Cleanses and soothes the skin
  • Ideal for mature skin
  • Contains Magnesium and Vitamin C
  • Reduces signs of fatigue
  • Delicately scented

To use it, you have to gently sweep across the skin on your face and neck using cotton wool. The cleanser exfoliates, soothes and re-invigorates your skin. I use it in the mornings to clean my skin, before I apply my daily cream and makeup.

This cleansing milk is not thin so it has the perfect texture to get good coverage. It leaves my skin cleansed, looking better and feeling smoother.

L’Oréal Age Perfect Re-Hydrating Day Cream (50ml)

  • Hydrates and protects the skin
  • Contains Soya Peptides and UV filters
  • Helps to firm facial contours and sagging skin
  • Reduces the appearance of age spots
  • Dermatologically tested
  • Delicately scented

To use it, you have to gently massage this day cream into your skin (face and neck) after cleansing in the morning. This cream has been designed to work during the day to be an intense hydration for mature skin. I love the texture of this cream. You don’t much to be able to spread it all over your face. It feels smooth and it is absorbed quickly too which is fantastic so then you can then apply your makeup easily.

It is not greasy which is very important for me. This cream helps to reduce the appearance of age spots which is exactly what I need. It feels very good after applying it.

Both products are very good. So far I’m very pleased. Of course, I have not tried them for long but I already know I will use these products for a long time, especially the rehydrating day cream,. This gift box would make a lovely present.

Have you used L’Oreal Paris products before? Have you visited the ‘Wow! Free Stuff’ website before?

*Disclaimer: We received a L’Oreal gift set to review for the purposes of this review. We were also offered the opportunity to giveaway this gift set to one of my readers.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
