Loving My New Bamboo Towels From The Towel Shop – Review

amomentwithfranca · 6 March 2017 · 123 Comments

I hate it when your towels start to look old and aren’t that soft anymore. I love using new towels, especially for the first time. It is such a nice feeling. So when The Towel Shop asked me to review a set of their new 600 GSM Bamboo Towels range, I looked at our well-worn towels and happily agreed!

Loving My New Bamboo Towels From The Towel Shop - Review & Giveaway

I hadn’t previously heard of them, so it was interesting to discover that they were founded in 1999 as a market stall in the heart of Bolton. Since then, they have established themselves as Britain’s leading supplier and manufacturer of household linen offering a range of towels, bedding, duvets, pillows, table linen and BS 7175 flame resistant bedding to retail customers, businesses and institutions across the globe. It was interesting to see that they have diversified their range and don’t just sell towels.

I was eager to try their bamboo towels because I know how good they can be. We already have some Cuddledry towels for Sienna which are made of Bamboo and they are incredibly soft and get her dry very quickly. I was therefore really looking forward to getting some bamboo towels for me too!

Bamboo fibres are 3 times more absorbent than cotton, making them one of the most desirable and luxurious materials on the market. Natural, organic and with a super-fast growth rate, Bamboo is one of the most versatile and efficient materials available.

Another interesting fact is that Bamboo has a positive effect on the environment as less space is needed for growth, so wildlife and nature can thrive in the unspoilt space that would normally be taken up by other materials like cotton. You could also try eco-friendly bamboo bedding from ecoy.com.au for the smoothest sleep of your life.

When the towels arrived, the first thing I did was to touch them because for me this tells me a lot about a towel. I was worried that they wouldn’t be very soft but this was for nothing because I was so happy to find that this set of towels were incredibly soft!

The set we received included the full range: Bamboo Bath Sheet, Bamboo Bath Towel, Bamboo Hand Towel and a Bamboo Face towel in Latte colour.  They come in 6 different colours: White, Cream, Latte, Silver, Charcoal and Kingfisher.

One of the things that I like a lot is that they are machine washable and easy to maintain. There is nothing worse than buying luxurious towels that only last until the first wash.

The Towel Shop pride themselves on having the cheapest products on the market. If you find an identical product cheaper elsewhere, they promise to refund 100% of the difference or match the price without hassle. I thought this was very good.

The company also offers free UK Mainland delivery and what is even better is that all their orders are sent via DPD which will give you a 1-hour delivery window notification via SMS or email.

Finally, they have a 365 days return policy where you can return all unwanted items if they have not been used, are unwashed and undamaged.

I am very happy with my towels and I was very pleased with their service. I definitely recommend them. I will be buying a set for the rest of the family soon too. I’m also tempted to get a whole new bedding set for our bed too!

Have you bought bamboo towels before? What do you think of The Towel Shop? Have you bought from them before?

*Disclaimer: We received a set of Bamboo Towels from The Towel Shop to try at home for the purpose of this review. All opinions and thoughts are our own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

I tend to pick up the odd towel or two if I see them on special at the supermarket. I have never tried bamboo towels.
