Mi-Mic Karaoke Microphone Speaker Review

One of the things that Bella loves the most is singing! She sings all day long anywhere! She sings in the shower when she is getting changed, when she is playing, etc! Singing is just something that comes naturally to her! She is always watching kids sing on YouTube Kids and she wants to imitate them! It is so funny! She has asked for a microphone before but I didn’t have the chance to get her one, so when we got the opportunity to review Mi-Mic Karaoke Microphone Speaker by Toyrific, I agreed as I knew Bella would be super excited about it!

We received the Mi-Mic a few days before Bella and I were about to travel on holiday visiting family in Peru, so we decided to take it with us and test it out over there. My niece also loves singing so Bella really wanted to try it with her too.

MI-MIC KARAOKE MICROPHONE SPEAKER

Mi-Mic is a karaoke microphone with in-built speaker and Bluetooth functionality. It comes equipped with an SD card reader, USB re-chargeable battery and charger. The Bluetooth functionality allows you to connect the Mi-Mic to any paired device (iPhone, android phone or tablet), so you can play music from the device through the microphone’s speaker as you sing into it. The in-built speaker then broadcasts both the music and the vocals as one, giving a more rounded karaoke experience.

It allows you to play any song direct from your device. You can put your favourite tune on and then sing along. Whilst doing this you are able to sing ‘karaoke style’ and the Mi-Mic will add your voice to the song being played and you will hear a mix of the original song, your voice plus the addition of any extras added from the Mi-Mic because you can get extra creative by adding an echo effect and distortions to your vocals!

Mi-Mic also comes with 7 colour beat matching LED lights which flash along to the beat of the music. You can choose a static colour or changing colours which light up while singing.

The mic also features FF/RW/Pause/Play buttons and volume controls so you can make the track as loud or quiet as required. Turn up to full volume to use as a conventional Bluetooth speaker or lower the volume and let your best Adele impression take centre stage.

This microphone is charged via USB and the high capacity rechargeable battery lasts up to four hours from one charge! It has a ten metre range and will also take a TF card. This makes it perfect for a children’s karaoke party.

OUR THOUGHTS

The Mi-Mic is suitable for ages 6 years and over, however my little Sienna who is only 3 loves playing with it too and she has been singing her favourite nursery rhymes with it since we got it!

I have also tried it and I must say that it is so much fun! It is great that you can sing your favourite songs and at the same time listen to it. The sound effects add to the fun too! As you can see, this microphone is perfect for the whole family!

Since we received the Mi-Mic, my daughter Bella has been playing with it a lot! She asks for it when she gets back from school and loves singing her favourite songs! The only downside is that she wants to use it all the time at the moment including talking through it and sometimes that can be a little too much. After telling her a couple of times she stops,  LOL! Overall though, we are all loving it! We highly recommend it and I’m sure it will be on many Christmas list this year! 😉
