Minnie Mouse Happy Helpers House Review

amomentwithfranca · 26 September 2017 · 10 Comments

Who doesn’t love Minnie Mouse? I don’t think I could find someone who doesn’t! I have been a fan since I was a little girl and of course, my girls love her too. There is also now a TV show that is a hit with the kids! Have you seen it? Well if you have, you might have noticed that this cute playset that we have been sent by IMC Toys is a replica of Minnie Mouse’s Happy Helpers house and office that you can see in the show! It is a dream for any little Minnie Mouse fan!

BOX

The box is quite big actually. When it arrived my girls had their eyes wide open with such excitement. They just knew this would be a cool set to play with.

We decided to open the box when Sienna wasn’t around because it comes with about 20 accessories and some of them are relatively small so I didn’t want little Sienna messing around with the pieces before we even started building it!

CONTENT

Inside the box you will find the following:

  • 1 x Minnie Happy Helpers House
  • 1 x Minnie figure
  • 1 x Daisy figure
  • 20 accessories

Please note that this toy requires 2 x AAA batteries which are not included. These are for the lift which has sounds and lights. Also, within the 20 accessories, you can find necklaces, handbags, chairs, mobile phones, telephones, laptops, tv, sofa, kitchen accessories amongst many others.

BUILDING THE PLAYSET

Building this playset was a big job. As I said earlier it comes with 20 accessories plus the parts you need to build the actual house. Daddy was around so he helped us to build it. You need to actually remove the parts from the plastic sprue tree to be able to build it such us windows, lift compartments, shadow blinds for the windows, etc. I did this while Nick put all the pieces together. Bella spent a fair amount of time putting all the stickers around the house. She loved doing this. I also helped her with some at the end as she was desperate to start playing.

I don’t think your kids wouldbe able to build it on their own. They will need your help. Bella’s is old enough to be around while we built it but it is better to keep younger children away until it is ready. Everything was pretty much done and ready just before Sienna arrived from nursery so the timing was perfect because the playset was ready for her to give it a go!

PLAYTIME

Both girls played together and happily took turns. They really love making Minnie and Daisy go up and down the turnstyle lift to the different levels where they can find their office, living room and bedroom. They enjoyed the sounds and the lights! It was cool!

They moved the Minnie and Daisy around their house and office. On the ground floor you can find their office as well as their dressing table (beauty table) and wardrobe. Just a note that the dressing table came with a door which wouldn’t close despite me trying different ways to make it close. I’m not sure if this is something that is a fault with our sample or if this is a design error.

On the 1st floor they have on one side, the living room where they can relax watching some tv and on the other side, they have the kitchen where they prepare delicious recipes. Their bedroom is on the top floor where they can fall asleep looking up at the stars! It is lovely! This fabulous house is full of stylish furniture and accessories. Both doors (front and back) can be opened.

After playtime your kids can keep all the little accessories inside the wardrobe, kitchen drawer and office desk drawer on the ground floor. You can close the doors and it will keep it organised and tidy. This way there is less risk of losing any pieces.

MAIN FEATURES

  • Playset opens up into the Happy Helpers House, just like the one in the hit TV show
  • Magic turnstyler lift with sounds and lights
  • Fantastic Minnie playset filled with play possibilities
  • Lots of the hidden surprises!

PRICE AND WHERE TO BUY

This set is suitable for kids of 3 years old and over and the price is £49.99. You can buy this lovely house in many good toy retailers such as Smyths Toys and Amazon. Please see the Amazon details below:

OUR THOUGHTS

Despite taking some time to build this playset, I  must say that it has been a hit at home. It is really cute. My girls really love it. They have been playing with it a lot since we received it. They have put so much attention to detail into it. I am so impressed. It has so many accessories which have kept the girls entertained for hours. I was surprised how Sienna has been even more enthusiastic about this house as she has been playing with it every time she comes back from nursery. I can definitely recommend this playset and I am sure it will be very popular this Christmas.

Are your kids fans of Minnie Mouse? Do they watch the TV show? What do you think of this playset? Isn’t it adorable?

*Disclosure: We received this lovely Minnie House for the purposes of this blog post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own. It contains an affiliate link.

Looks great, but I do get annoyed at the amount of assembly involved in children’s toys!

✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
