Monopoly Lifesized Review

amomentwithfranca · 14 September 2021 · 23 Comments

If you are a fan of the Monopoly Board game, then you will be very excited to know that there is a huge version of it in Central London called Monopoly Lifesized and you can visit to play with your family or friends.

Monopoly Lifesized Review

Sienna loves playing Monopoly at home so you can imagine her face when she realised we were going to do a Monopoly Lifesized review and saw this massive version of the game! Bless her!

About Monopoly Lifesized

Monopoly Lifesized is an immersive 4D experience, on-your-feet version of the world’s favourite family game brand played on a 15m x 15m life-sized Monopoly board. How cool is that?

They have 4 different editions of Monopoly Lifesized to choose from depending on your age. See below:

  • Classic – The Classic Board and its challenges serve as a homage to Monopoly and the history of the properties available to purchase.
  • City – Take to the streets of modern-day London and get a whistle-stop tour of all that this wonderful city has to offer.
  • Vault – See behind the scenes of Mr Monopoly’s bank and get a taste of the finer things in life.
  • Junior – Come on down to Monopoly Town for fast-paced, family-friendly, fun. Complete challenges, earn money and work as a team.

“Bringing the classic board game to life in this way, is a great way for kids to get an educational experience and have fun at the same time”, comments Ruban Selvanayagam of Property Portfolio Sellers in London.

Because Sienna is only 7 we were only allowed to play the Junior Edition of the game that is suitable for families with children aged 5 to 8 years old. At least one adult will be required for every 5 children.

For the Junior game, we had to travel around Mr Monopoly’s fun fairground board competing in family-friendly challenges. The game lasted 75 minutes.

Playing Monopoly Lifesized Junior Edition

We were put into groups of 4. Sienna and I were in one group. We first met Mr Monopoly and we had to choose our tokens. Sienna was so excited when she got Ruby, the Rubber Duck as a token! There were other tokens to choose too.

We all rolled our dice to see who started the game first. We got 6 so we started first. We went around the board competing in different fun challenges for our chance to buy properties. We managed to buy 3 properties so we did pretty well. Although we also ended up in jail and we had to literally dance our way out of it, Lol!

Monopoly Lifesized Location

Monopoly Lifesized is located at 213-215 Tottenham Court Road, W1T 7PS. The nearest tube station is Goodge Street which is served by the Northern Line. Tottenham Court Road (Central Line) and Warren Street (Victoria Line) are both within a short 10-minute walk.

There are also many buses serving Tottenham Court Road.

Monopoly Lifesized Opening Times

Opening Hours:

  • Monday – Closed
  • Tuesday to Thursday – 3:00pm to 11:00pm
  • Friday – 12:00pm to 12:00am
  • Saturday – 10:00am to 12:00am
  • Sunday – 10:00am to 10:30pm

Monopoly Lifesized Tickets Prize & Shop

Tickets for the junior version start at £25 each and are aimed at kids aged 5 to 8 years old. They also offer flexible tickets available from £53 per person for the other editions.

When you enter the building you will see the shop where you will be able to buy merchandise. They have Monopoly board games, t-shirts, coasters, bags, keyrings among other things. If you are a fan you will love this corner!

As a fan of Monopoly, you must not miss the custom patches. These embroidered patches can be customized with any Monopoly elements you like. Show your love by attaching it to your school bag or t-shirt.

Our Thoughts Of Monopoly Lifesized Junior Edition

Sienna enjoyed it so much that she hasn’t stopped talking about it! We really recommend you to go and visit. I am sure your kids will love it too!

What do you think of our Monopoly Lifesized Review? Do your kids like playing Monopoly? Will you be going to Monopoly Lifesized?

*Disclosure: Sienna and I were invited to Monopoly Lifesized in Central London for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

That is so cute!! #KCACOLS. I vaguely think the Oujia board was the most popular board game until Monopoly stole it’s crown and became the leader ever since….#KCACOLS

This looks and sounds like great fun! I used to enjoy Monopoly a lot when I was a child so I would have loved this! (I still like Monopoly now but almost never get the chance to play.) I love that they’ve created these ‘live’ versions of this classic game x #KCACOLS
