Nutmeg At Morrisons Christmas Eve Box

amomentwithfranca · 20 December 2017 · 3 Comments

Not long ago, I wrote about a collaboration I had with Nutmeg at Morrisons where I introduced their AW17 range. That was the first time that I had actually tried their clothes and since then we now love them! The quality of their products are amazing and their kid’s range is absolutely adorable! I wore my bike jacket and denim shirt throughout the start of the colder Autumn weather and I loved it! I got so many great compliments which was really nice!

Nutmeg At Morrisons Christmas Eve Box

This time, Morrisons asked us to be part of a lovely campaign for the festive season. I was, of course, super excited to learn more about it because I knew it was going to be great!

We were sent a Christmas Eve ‘gift box’ so we can keep cosy and have a family night in on Christmas Eve! They were going to send a range of goodies from Morrisons for the whole family so as you can see we were all looking forward to receiving our lovely box!

When our box arrived, I couldn’ t believe all the lovely goodies they had sent us! We received two boxes. The first one had some ‘mini me’ Christmas jumpers for the whole family! OMG, I was so happy about it! Wearing matching Christmas jumpers for the whole family is something that I have tried to do for a couple of years.

As you all might know if you follow my blog, I am not from this country, so you can imagine that this is not a Christmas tradition for me. In Peru we do things differently, so we have other traditions. Firstly, it is warm at this time of year so there is no need for warm Christmas jumpers but I can tell you that I love this tradition! It’s a British tradition that my girls like and we all enjoy it!

Our Christmas jumpers are so pretty and super soft! My girls and I are so excited to be wearing matching designs. It’s a Black Reindeer Jumper design which I really like. I thought it was different but stylish at the same time. We felt amazing when we were wearing them and they really kept us warm.

Nick got a different design, of course. He received the Fairisle Jumper. It was lovely too and he liked the colours and design. I think the best part was to be able to match as a family during this festive period!

We were so happy with our jumpers that we decided to take our Christmas photos wearing them! The photos came out good and we are so happy about it!

For the first time ever, Nutmeg at Morrisons is selling matching knits for all the family. Their knits are available in kids sizes from 1-14 years which cost £10 and for adults in sizes 8-22/S-XXXL which cost £12. Isn’t it fantastic?

As I mentioned in my previous blog post, the range from Nutmeg at Morrisons are created with ‘thoughtful details’, therefore I think is worth highlighting them again:

  • Super soft fabric– they offer all-day comfort. All their jackets, tops and t-shirts are made from super soft fabrics meaning they’re easy to wear and fit snuggly on the skin.
  • No itchy neck labels for kids – this means that they are now itching free which helps prevent irritations.
  • Adjustable waist – they have room for growth
  • Big zips – now the kids can do up themselves.

We also received another box containing some lovely sweet treats and activities for us to enjoy together as a family. This included some new mugs which I love! I really like the design and you can never have enough new mugs in your kitchen, right? I am obsessed with mugs, I think we have lots of them at home, LOL! These mugs are the perfect gift for me and they are gorgeous!

I really love that they sent us 2 different colours, so 2 matching colours for Nick and I and 2 matching colours for the girls! Yeey!

We also got the most delicious hot chocolate powder ever! OMG, we are all obsessed with it!  The whole powder has now almost gone, LOL! Yes, we are a crazy family that craves sweet treats!

We also received marshmallows and a delicious box of chocolates with a variety of flavours that we all enjoyed so much! They are all gone now, LOL! I know we were supposed to wait for Christmas Eve but hey if we received such a wonderful box to show you, it would have been rude not to try and test them all, right?

The final item in our box was the Disney movie, ‘The Jungle Book” which we were actually looking forward to watching again all together. So it was the perfect treat for all of us!

As you can see from the photos, we have already practised our Christmas Eve night in and we had so much fun. It was lovely to be able to hang out as a family like this, so this is not only for Christmas but for the whole festive period and the sweet treats can be for any time of course! I will have to go to Morrisons and get some more of these treats so we can do it all over again! 😉

Ahh, last but certainly not least, we also got a Gingerbread House that the girls were desperate to do as soon as they saw it It comes with icing, jelly sweets and candy beads. I got Nick to help with this project! They sat down together and started to build the Gingerbread House. Unfortunately, once done it didn’t last too long as it fell down straight after so I didn’t have the chance to take a photo. I think next time, I will have to be in charge of the project, LOL!

Nutmeg now has a presence in all Morrisons stores and kids clothes are covered by Morrisons’ 200-day ‘no quibble’ guarantee. I said this already but I would like to say it again, it is a shame that they don’t have an online store! Hopefully soon! 😉

If you are still yet to buy your Christmas jumpers and would like a matching style for the family, go over to your nearest Morrisons and have a look. They have other options too. And of course, have a look at the whole Nutmeg collection. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Have you bought your Christmas jumper yet? Have you bought from Nutmeg before? What do you think of their collection?

*Disclosure: we received these samples for the purpose of this blog post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went t ✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went to @javawhiskersuk , a cat cafe located in @westfieldlondon . This was my present for Mother’s Day from her🌸.🌟 Before we went inside, we had to go to a separate room to wash our hands and remove our shoes..🐾 They have 2 different rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge and you can choose to stay from 55 mins to 1hr 55 mins. The prices vary depending on the room you choose and the length of time..🍰 When we stepped inside the room we were greeted by a group of gorgeous kittens. We ordered (before we went inside the room) a latte and a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate melted inside that was so good. This was served to us in the room while we were surrounded by these adorable kittens..🐱 We spent 55 mins playing and petting the kittens. They were so cute. We loved interacting with them..🥰 Their cafe is also a foster home for homeless cats so if you are looking to adopt one, this is the place to visit! They have had 230 successful adoptions already! 🙌🏻.🚨 The only downside is that you have to be over 10 years old in order to be allowed inside the rooms 😬.🐈 If you are a cat lover like us, I highly recommend you visit Java Whiskers! It is the perfect place to unwind and relax with these beautiful kittens! 🙌🏻.Have you visited a Cat Cafe before? 🐈‍⬛ .#javawhiskers #catcafe #catcafelondon #londoncafe #westfieldlondon #londondayout #daysout #thingstodoinlondon #newplaces #londonguide #lovecats😻 #catsofinstagram #catloversday #londonthingstodo #whatsonlondon

✨My Girls✨.Due to the strikes we had Sienna ✨My Girls✨.Due to the strikes we had Sienna at home yesterday and today, and Bella only today. I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you? Did your kids stay at home or did they go to school? .PS: let’s hope things get better for teachers. ✨Happy Weekend✨.How is your weekend going so ✨Happy Weekend✨.How is your weekend going so far? I am finally feeling more normal after the massive jetlag I had after my trip to South America. I am not sure why it hit me so much this time but it has taken me about two solid weeks to properly be back to my routine without feeling right. Waking up in the mornings was the worst. It was very hard, especially when I had to be on time for the school run! 😩.Anyway, everything feels better now! 😊.How long does it take you to be back to normal after a jetlag? Do you have any tricks or tips to speed this process? .📸 Selfy taken in Barranco, a lively district in Peru considered to be one of the most romantic and bohemian places to visit and being the home and working place of many Peruvian artists, musicians, designers, photographers among others 😎.#thisisme #selfie #instaselfie #smilemore #brunettehair #greeneyes #over40#over40blogger #overforty #overfortystyle #over40andfabulous #over40mom #outandabout #barrancolima
