It is not very often that Nick goes shopping and gets new clothes. It is normally me who encourages him to do it. Or even me who goes to pick something for him. Also it’s not very often that he gets designer clothes either. So he was very grateful to get the opportunity to pick an outfit from Mainline Menswear ready for Valentine’s day. I was very excited for him, but would he pick the perfect outfit?
Valentine’s Day is a very special day for us because back in Feb 2007 on Valentine’s Day, Nick proposed to me! The funny thing is that you are probably expecting a romantic night out and then the typical surprise of popping the question. But this didn’t happen like this to us. He did propose that day but not in a fancy and romantic setting but in our flat while I was in bed after being very ill for a few days. This isn’t the typical proposal story that you might hear but for me, it was a day to remember even though I was feeling very ill. Valentine’s Day is, therefore, a special day for us!
This year we were away on a family trip in Yorkshire reviewing a B&B. Because we were with the girls we didn’t have a date night out but we did spend a lovely time altogether during that day! Beforehand he searched through the Mainline Menswear website to choose an outfit to wear during our trip away.

Mainline Menswear was born in 2002 with a small shop opened in the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It grew very quickly and then their website was launched in 2004. They moved to a large warehouse area to be able to stock their extensive range of designer clothing for men. They have clothes for men of all ages and available on any budget.
They have around 85 designer brands such us Hugo Boss, Armani, Lacoste, Ted Baker, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Moshino, Versace, Vans, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland Boots and loads more clothing and footwear brands with a huge selection of clothing and accessories. This is perfect for Nick because he can choose so many options and be able to do it at home. It is quick and easy. They have very good customer service and also their delivery was very quick. They do next day delivery if you opt for this service for £4.95. The delivery is free when you order is more than £150.

The Perfect Outfit?
FRED PERRY BOLD CHECK SHIRT RED – £80
This is a gorgeous shirt. It has a long sleeves and bold checks in red, blue and light blue. It has a full front branded pearlescent button fastening with a button down shirt collar and button fastening cuffs on the long sleeves. The signature embroidered Fred Perry Laurel Wreath logo is situated on the left of the chest in white. It is 100% Cotton.
I really like how this shirt looked on him. I love the colours and I think it really suits him. He looks smart but casual. It is the perfect shirt to use for different occasions.
PAUL AND SHARK REGULAR FIT CHINO TROUSERS NAVY – £115
These chinos arrived with their own hanger with a logo and inside a branded bag. It was really nice. They are regular fit trousers in navy. These trousers are constructed from a stretch fabric for comfort and freedom of movement. A metal zip and top button fly with six belt loops on the waistband. A typical five pocket design featuring two pouch pockets on the waist with a small coin pocket within the right pocket and two pouch pockets on the reverse.
The signature woven and embroidered Paul And Shark logo patch is sewn onto the reverse right pocket in navy, red, white, and golden brown which looks really nice. I really like it. I thought Nick looked very smart in these trousers.
PENFIELD AVONDALE JUMPER GREY – WAS £80 NOW £42.08
This is a lambs wool jumper with a knitted horizontal stripe design in grey, dark grey and light grey. A ribbed knit crew neck in grey with a ribbed design to the waistband and cuffs of the long sleeves in dark grey. The signature woven Penfield logo patch is situated on the lower left in cream, red and blue.
This a great jumper to be used for different occasions too. It was the perfect casual look with a smart touch that makes him look great but at the same time, he felt very comfortable and also very warm.
OUTFIT LOOK
I thought the whole look was really nice and smart. It was perfect for our weekend away and for Valentine’s Day. The 3 items were of an amazing quality and I’m sure he will be using them for a long time. We are both very pleased with the whole look.
We were both very satisfied with the service and Nick enjoyed the whole online shopping experience. We will be definitely be coming back to search more clothes to buy in the future, especially me when I have to think about Father’s Day in a few months time!
