Regatta Spring Collection Family Style

amomentwithfranca · 7 May 2017 · 174 Comments

It’s no secret that I love Regatta Outdoors. I have mentioned them many times in my social media as well as in previous posts. We worked with them for a Family Outdoor Style post last year and we all loved the clothes. We also received winter jackets that we used during a visit to the Natural History for a lovely ice skating day out which we have used during the whole winter. They have been a lifesaver for all of us! I cannot stress how good is the quality of Regatta’s clothes!

Regatta Spring Collection Family Style

It is now Spring and their new collection is out and we are loving it! I was invited to Central London to check out their new range. They did an indoor picnic and had a display of their coolest outfits. I browsed all their collection as I was super curious to see what they had for this season. I was very impressed. I really love all the colours they have used.

After the event, we were asked to choose some outfits from the new collection. We sent them a list of the items that caught our attention and from this, they sent us some of the products we chose. We were all super excited to receive our new clothes and shoes. As soon as we received the huge parcel we were all checking everything we got! We love receiving clothes from Regatta!

They sent jackets for the girls and me, trainers for Nick, Bella and I, a pair of wellingtons for Sienna, shirts for Nick and me, a couple of swimsuits for the girls and a fleece for me. It was amazing! It felt like Christmas, LOL!

See below all the items we received:

FRANCA – MONDARA SHIRT CORAL GINGHAM – NOW £19.45

I absolutely love this shirt. I love the colour, the shape, the style, etc. It is very flattering! I like that it doesn’t feel tight which is always a worry with shirts. With this shirt, I felt very comfortable wearing it. I have worn it a few times already and I have always loved wearing it.

It is a summery, button-through top in a lightweight, Coolweave cotton voile. One of the features that I like a lot is that it has a button-tab on the cuffs so you can roll up your sleeves with style. It also has darts at the front and a curved hem for a flattering fit.

FRANCA – ENDORA FLEECE RED VIOLET – NOW £20.95

This fleece is similar to one I got last time which I wore a lot but I like this one even more because it has a zip fastening which I find very practical. It is also a little bit thinner which is perfect for this season. This fleece has been one of my favourite ones for the nursery run. It looks great but at the same time you are so comfortable and it keeps me warm because with this weather you never know what you will encounter when you are out!

It is made from warming, soft-touch marl fabric with an ‘antique brass’ zip fastening, a gorgeous drapey funnel neck with a ribbon drawcord and zipped lower pocket. It has the Regatta badge on the left sleeve.

FRANCA – YELLOW BAYLEIGH JACKET GLOWLIGHT – NOW £34.95

This is such a cute jacket. I always wanted to own a bright yellow jacket and now thanks to Regatta, I have one! Yay! This is a lightweight jacket which is perfect for windy days but not necessarily freezing cold days. It is waterproof and breathable Isotex. It has 2 lower pockets which are very useful as well as an internal security pocket. It has the Regatta badge on the left sleeve.

I wore it for a tour we did in London and it was great even though it was a freezing cold day. It kept me warm. It is a little bit on the small side. I think I would feel more comfortable with a size up but I’m not sure if perhaps it would then be too big as so far the size of all the clothes I have had from Regatta has been spot on.  I think it will be better when the days get warmer and I don’t need as many layers. But despite that, I felt very trendy when I wore it. There is something about yellow jackets that are very special! I love the look.

FRANCA – LADY BURRELL WALKING BOOT STEEL PURPLE – NOW £59.95

I was dying to get boots like this for when you are travelling or even when you are exploring out and about with the kids and you are walking a lot. I find these types of boots are the perfect solution for longer walking days. Nick and I are about to travel for a press trip to Hamburg and I’m so looking forward to bringing them with me. I think they will be perfect for that.

I wore them for the first time on this tour we did in London not long ago and they were so comfy. These boots are waterproof and breathable with a lightweight Vibram Girvola sole. They are perfect for wet or dry conditions. The cushioned sole system provides excellent traction and support across varying terrain. You should always have these types of boots in your wardrobe.

NICK – BENAS SHIRT CHILLI PEPPER – NOW £29.95

I really like this shirt. I think it looks great on Nick. The colour is very nice and the design is also really nice. It is a classic long sleeve shirt in a breathable fabric.

Nick felt very comfortable wearing it and it didn’t make him sweat which is important as sometimes some shirts can make your feel too hot. It also has a chest pocket which is very handy. It is a shirt that can be worn for multiple purposes. It looks casual for the day or smart enough for the evening.

NICK – GATLIN MID BOOT WALKING BOOT BLACK PEPPER – NOW £39.95

Nick was also looking for a pair of boots like these ones. As I mentioned before, we are travelling to Hamburg this month and we will be bringing our boots. They will be very useful for that press trip as I guess we will be walking a lot. These boots will be perfect for that.

They have Hydropel water repellent technology and an Isotex membrane to keep your feet dry inside and out. It also has tough-wearing rubber overlays around the toe and heel which will protect you against bumps and snags while a supportive shank and shock-absorbing EVA pads in the sole provide cushioned support on uneven ground. They are not just very well designed but they also look great!

BELLA – PRINTED OVERCHILL JACKET SPRING YELLOW – NOW £23.95

I also wanted to get Bella a yellow jacket. The last jackets she got were black and blue so I really wanted something with bright colours. I think it looks very cute when your kids wear bright coloured outfits. I really like how Bella looks in this jacket. It brightens her up a lot!

This jacket is waterproof with a really nice polyester printed fabric. It has a part mesh and part polyester lining. The cuffs are adjustable which is always very useful. It also has 2 zipped lower pockets which Bella really likes. It also comes with a concealed hood.

BELLA – HYPERTRAIL LOW JNR SHOE JEM NEON – NOW £24.95

These trainers were the first thing Bella saw from the box. She just grabbed them straight away and has been wearing them a lot since. I love the colours. It looks super cool and they are very cheerful. I really like them and I think Bella looks really cute when she wears them.

These trainers offer lightweight and breathable protection. It has rubberised overlays, a protective toe bumper and deep padding around the collar and tongue which provide support and stability. It comes with Hydropel water resistant technology.

BELLA – GIRLS DIVER SWIMMING COSTUME NAVY – NOW £12.95

This is a perfect swimsuit to use at swimming lessons. It can also be great for the beach, to play in the back garden or for the school pool. It’s made with 18% elastane for acrobatic stretch and is finished with a super cute bow detail on the back.

Bella feels comfortable in it and it has a really nice look. She has not had the chance to try it at the beach yet but we will have plenty of opportunities to come.

SIENNA – PRINTED LEVER JACKET DUCHESS PRINT – NOW £23.95

This is such a cute jacket. I’m very happy we got something with colour. I think the bright colours are perfect for this season. The material of this jacket is lighter than the jacket we got for Bella but it still protects her very well from the wind which is something we have a lot in the UK.

It has reflective trims which are very useful. It has a soft mesh lining and a stretch binding details. It also has waterproof and breathable protection and it is very comfortable to wear. It also has a cute Regatta print on the chest. It comes with 2 zipped lower pockets and a grown on mesh lined hood.

SIENNA – FOXFIRE JNR WELLY JEM WHITE & PINK – NOW £14.95

I was so happy to get these pink wellies. Last year, Nick took the girls on bonfire night to watch the fireworks and Sienna was wearing her Pink Hunter wellies that belonged to Bella. They were a little bit big and she lost one that day. Since then I have been meaning to get her new ones so these wellies from Regatta are perfect. They look so solid.

They have a reflective detail for enhanced visibility which I thought was very useful. They’re made of soft rubber with a natural cotton lining and a grippy tread. I have noticed that this pair is a little bit big still and we are having the same problem than before. Every time that Nick put Sienna on his shoulders the wellies get lose and they fall. Thankfully we have not lost them yet but we have to be careful. I think I will wait a couple of months for her feet to grow more and they will then be perfect for her to wear.

SIENNA – GIRLS DIVER SWIMMING COSTUME OXFORD BLUE – NOW £12.95

I love the colour of this swimsuit. The print is very cool and fun. Sienna really likes it. It is still a little bit big but it is wearable. I got her size 3, a size that she is okay to wear at the moment with a lot of clothes. But perhaps this swimsuit will not fit properly yet because it is a little loose on her body. She will be turning 3 soon, so it will fit her even better. Like Bella’s swimsuit, it also has a cute yellow bow at the back.

What do you think of Regatta’s latest Spring collection? What is your favourite? If you win the giveaway, what would you like to get?

*Disclaimer: I received all these items from Regatta for the purpose of this review. However, all opinions and thoughts are my own. I was also offered the opportunity to giveaway £100 voucher.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went t ✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went to @javawhiskersuk , a cat cafe located in @westfieldlondon . This was my present for Mother’s Day from her🌸.🌟 Before we went inside, we had to go to a separate room to wash our hands and remove our shoes..🐾 They have 2 different rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge and you can choose to stay from 55 mins to 1hr 55 mins. The prices vary depending on the room you choose and the length of time..🍰 When we stepped inside the room we were greeted by a group of gorgeous kittens. We ordered (before we went inside the room) a latte and a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate melted inside that was so good. This was served to us in the room while we were surrounded by these adorable kittens..🐱 We spent 55 mins playing and petting the kittens. They were so cute. We loved interacting with them..🥰 Their cafe is also a foster home for homeless cats so if you are looking to adopt one, this is the place to visit! They have had 230 successful adoptions already! 🙌🏻.🚨 The only downside is that you have to be over 10 years old in order to be allowed inside the rooms 😬.🐈 If you are a cat lover like us, I highly recommend you visit Java Whiskers! It is the perfect place to unwind and relax with these beautiful kittens! 🙌🏻.Have you visited a Cat Cafe before? 🐈‍⬛ .#javawhiskers #catcafe #catcafelondon #londoncafe #westfieldlondon #londondayout #daysout #thingstodoinlondon #newplaces #londonguide #lovecats😻 #catsofinstagram #catloversday #londonthingstodo #whatsonlondon

I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you? ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" is one of my favourite Peruvian desserts. When I was In Peru, I of course, made sure to have it not only once but several times 😉.This dessert is made of manjar blanco (milk, sugar, almond flour, egg yolks, vanilla) and meringue (egg whites, port, cinnamon) 😘.The history behind this dessert starts with Amparo Ayarza who was the creator. Her husband, José Gálvez Barrenechea was a poet and was the one who gave it its name. The poet called it "Suspiro de Limeña", which means, 'Sigh of a Lima lady', because it is soft and sweet like the sigh of a woman. Love this 🥰.Have you ever tried "Suspiro Limeño"? Or have you heard of it before? Would you try it? .📸 Picture taken @panchitasazoncriolla in Lima that has one of the best versions of this dessert 🙌🏻.#suspirolimeño #peruviandessert #meringue #merengue #desserttime #dessertlover #dessertpic #dessertgram #peruvianfood #cocinaperuana #gastronomiaperuana #perufood #peruviancousine #whatisfordessert #dessertsofinstagram
