Review – Cuddledry Swim Supersoft Swim Poncho Towel

amomentwithfranca · 29 March 2016 · 16 Comments

I was so excited when Cuddledry contacted me, a company that I have loved since discovering them when Bella was a little baby when we needed baby towels. I was given the opportunity to review a product from their Cuddledry Swim range.

Cuddledry Poncho FI

This range is fantastic for our babies when they go for swimming lessons, to swim at the local pool, or best of all, during the summer when it is nice and warm out there so you can use it to go to a lido or the beach.

I made a short video when I was testing the Poncho with Sienna which includes my thoughts about it. Have a look so you can see how cool this poncho is:

This Poncho is perfect for kids aged 1 to 3 years old. It comes in 2 different colours: blue with an orange edge (the one we got) or blue with a lime edge. It is very bright with a cheerful colour so it is very appealing to your kids. I guess they will probably add more colours to their range as they have done in the past with other products.

Cuddledry Poncho 1

This towel was created with the help of swimming professionals and is made with Cuddledry’s signature blend of materials, pure cotton and bamboo, creating a beautifully soft and fluffy towel

The idea behind this poncho is to keep kids warm when they get out of the water but are not ready to get dressed yet. This supersoft bamboo swim poncho is just the thing to dry toddlers naturally and keep them warm after splash time.

The poncho is very easy for your baby to wear as it takes no time to put on.  The underarm poppers keep it perfectly in place, and the wide ‘sleeves’ and generous hood pull over your toddler’s head and arms for extra cosiness.

What I really like the most about this product is the natural bamboo as it makes the poncho super-absorbent, drying your little one in next to no time – keeping them warm and cosy in winter, and covered up in summer. Something to also mention is that after washing it several times, it remains the same, incredibly soft and fluffy.

Sienna really liked this poncho as she was really happy and comfortable in it. She felt warm and was jumping up and down when she had it on. It was so cute to watch. It is really useful, very soft and dries really fast as it absorbs the water on her skin very quickly.

Cuddledry Poncho 7

Cuddledry Supersoft Swim Poncho Towel has an RPP of £26.99 and is available to buy from the Cuddledry website, from Amazon or from other toy stores. You can also find Cuddledry on Facebook , Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.

What do you think of this poncho? Do you have something similar? What do you think of the fact it is super absorbent? Please leave a comment below as I would love to read what you think.

Disclaimer: I was sent this poncho to test in exchange for an honest review. All the opinions are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

I love hooded towels, they look so cute! Such a good idea to have poppers under the arms, it makes it more like a dressing gown then.

These look fab! My girls love to snuggle in a towel when they get out the water and don’t always want to get dressed straight away and these would be perfect for that. They seem to fit really well. #triedtested

✨My Girls✨.Due to the strikes we had Sienna ✨My Girls✨.Due to the strikes we had Sienna at home yesterday and today, and Bella only today. I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you? Did your kids stay at home or did they go to school? .PS: let’s hope things get better for teachers. ✨Happy Weekend✨.How is your weekend going so ✨Happy Weekend✨.How is your weekend going so far? I am finally feeling more normal after the massive jetlag I had after my trip to South America. I am not sure why it hit me so much this time but it has taken me about two solid weeks to properly be back to my routine without feeling right. Waking up in the mornings was the worst. It was very hard, especially when I had to be on time for the school run! 😩.Anyway, everything feels better now! 😊.How long does it take you to be back to normal after a jetlag? ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" ✨Peruvian Suspiro Limeño✨."Suspiro Limeño" is one of my favourite Peruvian desserts. When I was In Peru, I of course, made sure to have it not only once but several times 😉.This dessert is made of manjar blanco (milk, sugar, almond flour, egg yolks, vanilla) and meringue (egg whites, port, cinnamon) 😘.The history behind this dessert starts with Amparo Ayarza who was the creator. Her husband, José Gálvez Barrenechea was a poet and was the one who gave it its name. The poet called it "Suspiro de Limeña", which means, 'Sigh of a Lima lady', because it is soft and sweet like the sigh of a woman. Love this 🥰.Have you ever tried "Suspiro Limeño"? Or have you heard of it before? Would you try it? .📸 Picture taken @panchitasazoncriolla in Lima that has one of the best versions of this dessert 🙌🏻.#suspirolimeño #peruviandessert #meringue #merengue #desserttime #dessertlover #dessertpic #dessertgram #peruvianfood #cocinaperuana #gastronomiaperuana #perufood #peruviancousine #whatisfordessert #dessertsofinstagram
✨Eating in Peru✨.One of the things that I lo ✨Eating in Peru✨.One of the things that I love the most about Peru besides family and friends of course, is the food! Peruvian food is one of the best in the world! It really is! And eating in Peru is a must! Trying any dish even if it is not neccesary a peruvian dish, it is cooked in such a way that the taste is just incredible! 😋 .While I was there for a couple of weeks I really made sure to try my favourite dishes again as well as new dishes and visiting classic restaurants as well as new restaurants and cafes that have opened in the last 5 years that I haven’t been able to visit. .If you go to Peru and stop in Lima, I really recommend you to visit @elmercadorestaurante, @cafedelima, @bottega_dasso, @panchitasazoncriolla, @eltiomario_restaurant, @lacaffettedilonato, @churreriamanolope, @franklinrestaurante, @lalamiraflores, @osakanikkei, @elpandelachola, @mattoniperu, @laterrazadelpardo, @cafevictoria_barranco among others! We have a really good list of restaurants and cafes that are worth a try. Peru is one of the best culinary destinations in the world 😋 .I also went to #limamarinaclub for dinner and the food together with the sea view was such an amazing atmosphere. This is a members club but I had to mention it because I really enjoyed this place ☺️.Have you tried Peruvian Food or eating in Peru? .#peruvianfood #cocinaperuana #peruvianrestaurant #gastronomiaperuana #perufood #peruviancousine #peruvian #limaperu #limafood #loveeating #foodiegram #food #over40 #over40blogger #overforty
